This game took me by surprise. I saw a few videos of it, had heard the name thrown around a lot, but nothing prepared me for what I was about to experience. Genuinely this is the first game I've played which kept me hooked from start to finish to the extent that I didn't touch another game until I completed it. The graphical style is very nice and I think it suits the isometric gameplay very well. The developers have gone to great lengths to ensure that the music is very atmospheric, driving up for the fast paced sections and calming down after (brilliant OST btw) as for the narrative, it left me speechless. The first time I heard the gravely voice of the narrator and the way he would comment on the user interaction within the game was impressive. My one gripe with the game was the fact that the controls for mouse and keyboard too a bit of getting used to. I also felt that my ability to aim, the guns in particular, was hampered by the somewhat awkward controls. It didn't stop me from enjoying the game, but in the interest of a fair review I thought to mention it. On the whole though, I loved it, I feel that there is also enough replay value to make it worth your while. There are also two endings to the story I'm told, so that could be something to entice people to play through it again!
