Surprisingly GoodAldren | July 27, 2012 | Review of Genesis Rising DNU
This game already has some years from release, but still it isn't a very well known game. I must say that for an action-RTS, its quite action oriented, with some good graphics for its time, and gameplay features which make it something to notice. I didn't find the multiplayer very interesting, but still, only the single player is worth the cost. Overall I am positively surprised with this game and I must say that any RTS player would enjoy it.
Mario Kart with RednecksAldren | July 27, 2012 | Review of Redneck Racers
This game really doesn't have much to say about it. Its been heavily inspired by Mario Kart, so it has a dynamic system for racing in which you can get different bonuses which help you to win the race. Its single-player only, so don't expect to play with friends. Its graphics are nice and it has some funny features and events, but overall, I really don't think this game innovates enought to be considered something new.
Mediocre GameAldren | July 27, 2012 | Review of Farm 2
Being a simplistic farming simulator, this game lacks a variety of features we have seen already in the genre, and its VERY cartoonish graphics and simplicity make it a game which only kids would find amusing. After playing for some time, this game can get boring really quick, so I would only recommend it for kids or very young teenagers.
Fine GameAldren | July 27, 2012 | Review of Dead Island: Game of the Year (v1)
Having so many zombie-games nowadays makes Dead Island stand out less, but still, its a nice game overall. Its strong points are its amazing graphics and "realistic" gameplay, its somewhat varied quests and its great amount of weapons. As main drawbacks, I would point out the lack of customization, or the dull story that the game follows. After so many patches, the game still has some bugs, and the character movement in multiplayer is quite weird, but still, the game has some potential and can give you hours of fun.
