Impressive !!!Angelos79 | Sept. 18, 2013 | Review of Total War: Shogun 2
This is one of the best the Total War series has to offer. The best map yet, it is almost alive. I have been around since the first Total War, and i can certainly say this is worth it's money. It does not have the scope of Med/ TW and Kingdoms, but it takes a specific era and details it to exhaustion. Buy it and kiss your evenings goodbye for a couple of months or more. Of course, this should be accompanied by all its DLCs and the Fall of Samurai campaign. Still, don;t hesitate on this!
Truly engrossing!Angelos79 | Sept. 17, 2013 | Review of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of The Year Edition
Though simpler than Oblivion, this game is truly one of the best, most immersing games you can purchase today. I would suggest giving it a thorough playthrough (actually, thorough is relative in this Case) before advancing to Oblivion. I first got this game as a gift with an old Video Card and have never forgotten the experience, Live the experience, it will be worth it! And then move on to Fallout 3 :)
Good Strategy Game!Angelos79 | Sept. 17, 2013 | Review of Galactic Civilizations I: Ultimate Edition
If you are fans of old Microprose strategies like Master of Orion 1 & 2, you will be right at home with this bad boy! It's mechanics are essentially similar to those of an old time strategy, just in space. That being said, this is not a game so easy as to allow you to just jump in. It needs patience if you are to understand its depth, Certainly worth the tag price, it talks mostly to those gamers who care more about gameplay than image! I would say, buy it!
Eh....Nice game, but no Civ 4!Angelos79 | Sept. 16, 2013 | Review of Sid Meier’s Civilization® V
Don't misunderstand, this game has serious design attitude and some good ideas, but it is just too shallow compared to Civ3 in it's final form. It's main problem is the lack of depth. Ok, if one buys all expansions that will ever come out, maybe stuff like culture, religion and espionage will come in, but i consider those elements that should be in from the get-go. This offering is just too simple and easy for the series' standards. Still, i suppose it will be nice for newcomers. Still, i expected more. Wait for a discount before buying!
Best RPG i played since the oldies!Angelos79 | Sept. 16, 2013 | Review of Fallout 3
Truth be told i am not an RPG fanatic. Unless the atmosphere is really immersive, i just get bored too easily. Taking that into consideration. imagine my surprise when i got hooked with this baby. I have not been so gone with an RPG since Bard's Tale I in the 90's. Unbelievable open world, and a multitude of details everywhere. Many times i caught myself just going around with no purpose, just to find some new place where "something happened". Nothing i say will do justice to this game, just buy it! Really!
Excellent Game!Angelos79 | Sept. 14, 2013 | Review of Europa Universalis II
The last "simple" installment in the EU series, before it went too complex. Obviously EU3 and 4 have many mechanisms that are still absent here, but this is the last title simple enough to allow fast entry to this way of gaming, while being immensely improved from its predecessor. It is a necessary into for all those new to the series and really enjoyable!
