Something new that didn't disappoint

ArmouredChubz | May 27, 2013 | Review of Batman: Arkham Asylum

As a gamer who grew up with FPSs and RPGs I was quite hesitant to pick up this game, especially since I wasn't a fan of Batman (Go Superman!), however I am glad to say that I was not disappointed. In fact it was the opposite, I was enthralled.

The story line to Asylum is nicely done and well paced moving the events of the story along naturally, the graphics were superb and the voice acting was brilliant. The fighting mechanics. My god they are amazing. Every technique or move you use is satisfying to use especially hearing the crunching of bones and shrills of 'dangerous inmates' when they find out batman is in the room.

I highly Suggest you pick up this game, not just because it's a batman game but because of its mechanics and the way the game just plays out.

Only complaint I have, which isn't a big deal, is that if you're a 100% completest you're going to have to replay the game more than once which can be quite annoying as although there is replay ability it's more of a "oh look I haven't played this game in a few months..." replay ability as oppose to a "It's still fun to play although I beat it yesterday..." vibe.

A brilliant Sand Box Game

ArmouredChubz | May 27, 2013 | Review of Just Cause 2

As a fan of sandbox games, Just Cause 2 is one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure to play. Having a large open environment where the protagonists can travel to different islands with a large array of vehicles, countless guns and oh... a grappling hook, for a sandbox fan, seems perfect. There are countless things one can do in this game whether that be latch yourself onto an enemy helicopter and dangle there while you take out infantry units or hook an innocent civilian onto a scooter and go for a nice evening drive, Just Cause 2 has something for everyone.and will provide you with countless hours of fun. The only reason it isn't a perfect 100 is that the story line is mediocre, at best, and the only thing I truly liked about it was deciding which faction you would end up working for. However I did not lower the score to much because of it this...well...because it's a sandbox game. If you are a sand box fan, get it. Otherwise, get it. Also I would like to add that if you have played GTA: San Andreas before and loved it, you will definitely love this.
