Good gameplay, limited multiplayerArthan | May 22, 2012 | Review of Puzzle Kingdoms
Music is best in series yet but it's let down by limited multiplayer and minor visual bugs. Gameplay is rewarding most of the time but some annoyingly difficult enemies may tempt you to /ragequit.
New experience. Great DLCArthan | Oct. 25, 2011 | Review of Deus Ex: Human Revolution – The Missing Link
Now that's what I call a real DLC. Brand new location, new storyline, more deus ex gameplay. The augmentations are reset, so it's harder playing without them at the beginning, but you can build new specialities than in the base game.
Thank you visceral gamesArthan | Oct. 25, 2011 | Review of Dead Space 2
Dead Space 2 is in some way indentical to Dead Space 1, but it has a number of new things that manage to uplift Dead Space 2 from Dead Space 1. One thing that really made the game for me where those interactive cutscene things, just amazingly well-made. The sounds and music are downright spectacular. Pretty much the same weapons and a few new ones, a talking Isaac and new armor also make this game more interesting that its predecessor. The animations are silky smooth and the voice acting is very convincing. It has some downright disturbing moments and plenty of very tense and hectic fighting. The enemies are... interesting in a way i guess. Most of them very disturbing and freaky, good variety too, you need different approaches for different enemies. Great game, not too different in terms of gameplay but it does the job of providing a new and very interesting successor of Dead Space 1. Thank you Visceral Games, roll on Dead Space 3
Quite fun!Arthan | Aug. 8, 2011 | Review of LEGO Batman: The Videogame DNS
This game is a lot of fun. It was made for kids and it has the humor and puzzles that kids like. If you played the Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones then you should already know what to expect. Best of all, I have not seen any technical issues with this one. This is a lot of fun.
Good gameArthan | Aug. 8, 2011 | Review of Zombie Driver
This game is simple is awesome! I have several friends who play and leader board competitions between friends keeps me coming back to defend my scores. The graphics are well done and the physics are excellent. Playing with a controller makes the game more enjoyable as well. Hoping for Zombie Driver 2 with multiplayer.
Nice gameArthan | Aug. 8, 2011 | Review of Trapped Dead
A good game that actually keeps you entertained, although it could have been made with improvements. The multiplayer is not all that fun from single player as you would have thought and expected... and I think it's what is lacking the most. The graphics are also nice and still enjoyable. It's stable, fun and good for those that enjoy on-top view. A very recommended game that is worth the current price.
Vast number of choices!Arthan | Aug. 8, 2011 | Review of Supreme Ruler: Cold War DNS
This game can get a bit scary at first because so much is going on at once, but then when you slow the game speed down a bit you can really get to appreciate the detail and the vast number of choices you get when you play Supreme Ruler ColdWar. I like the military battles side myself, so the improvements over the older Supreme Ruler games with better naval transport, and the option to fight wars as a "proxy" instead of declaring war on everybody, are very big features. The Espionage side is a bit boring, but the tech tree is improved and easier to understand, and ties in better with the rest of the game. Diplomacy has some cool new options, and a lot of the other regions (controlled by the AI) seem to have lots of things of their own going on. I'm actually preferring the Sandbox to the Campaign game, but that may change - lots of gameplay and replay value in this game.
Great game!Arthan | Aug. 5, 2011 | Review of Comix Zone
One of those forgotten classics that didn't quite get the attention it deserved, partly because it came out towards the end of the Megadrives lifespan. Make no mistake though this is still a hugely playable, innovative game even today. If you're a fan of old school scrolling beat em ups this is unmissable.
AddictiveArthan | Aug. 5, 2011 | Review of Warlords Battlecry 3
Out of all strategy games I have ever played, by which I mean at least thirty, being among them all the Civilization seriels, Age of Empires, Warcraft and other classics both TBS and RTS, this has been by far the most addicting, fun, and of course strategic game of all; the only game that is almost as good as Warlords Battlecry III is the one before it, Warlords Battlecry II.
Fun gameArthan | Aug. 5, 2011 | Review of Painkiller Black Edition DNS
It's a fairly fun game, though since it's basically a celebration of what gaming lost when it made the transition from the fast and competitive/challenging gameplay-centric Deathmatch to the slower, realistic plot-centric FPS games, it certainly doesn't innovate much. It's fairly fun, though the target audience will probably still prefer the original Quake.
Pachet properly is a good gameArthan | Aug. 5, 2011 | Review of Victoria II DNS
Victoria II was a mess when it was originally released, but the latest patches have fixed most issues. The game is focused on the social and economic changes that occured in the 19th and 20th century, and you job is to guide your nation through them. Victoria II does not focus so much on combat as other Paradox titles, but there is enough depth in the rest of the game for it to still be really entertaining. If you are a fan of other Paradox Interactive Titles, Victoria 2 is a must have!
Amazing gameArthan | Aug. 5, 2011 | Review of Trine
This is an amazing game. Basing a platformer off of physics is a great way to make it fun, when done right. These guys did it right. The graphics are spectacular, the story is interesting enough that it draws your attention, and the voice acting is pretty entertaining. This is the best platformer I've played in years.
Keyboard problemsArthan | June 22, 2011 | Review of Dungeon Siege III
Good action-RPG, very good indeed but it has a big problem. It's not possible to redifine keyboard keys to control the game so you'll only enjoy it if you have a pad to play with. It's a great game but it was made for PS3 and 360 and just copied for PC without taking care of one of the most important thing, the keyboard.
Ready to scream?Arthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of VVVVVV
Fun, addictive, beatiful, gorgeous designed levels but dificult, very dificult. If you want to get all the "orbs", get ready to scream to the game and prepare for a difficult task cause even the easiest level will kill you dozens of times.
4th Agon gameArthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of AGON - The Lost Sword of Toledo
4th Agon game where Samuel Hunt go to Toledo in order to translate an old and encoded document. You don't need to play the previos Agon games, this one tells you what happened earlier so you can play just this one and enjoy it anyway. The game offers great and complex puzzles but it's a pity that doen's offer some kind of clues when you miss an important object that you need in order to advance in the story.
The last Rhem game will make you sufferArthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of RHEM 4
It's going to make you suffer but in a good way, very complex puzzles that will make you think for the solution even while you are sleeping after playing the game for a while. The game has everything you want if you like puzzles and want to think about the solution for hours.
3 games in 1Arthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of RHEM Trilogy
Some of the best point & click adventures in only one compilation. Almost any computer can run them and offer you a lot of hours to enjoy with them. Don't doubt it and buy these games that despite of the old (2003, 2005 and 2008) still worth it and look gorgeous.
Fun at the beginningArthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of Egypt 3 - The Egyptian Prophecy
Enjoyable game and quite fun for the first 2 or 3 hours, but then the simplicity of the puzzles and the nonsense of the plot make it boring. You will stop playing before reaching the end of the game.
Based in a mysterious cityArthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of Lost City of Z
Quite a good point & click game based in a mysterious city in the jungle of Brazil. Several people dissapeared while they where trying to fin the city in the real world. Can you find them in the game? Surprisingly funny to play!
Good newsArthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of SBK 2011
A new Superbike World Championship but with some great news! SBK tour offers us tons of hours to play while we try to beat the game challenges in order to unlock prizes and circuits. But that's not the best at all, what makes the difference with the previous SBK is the "Legendary Roster", play as Aaron Slight and just enjoy...
Not like H2 but give it a tryArthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of Kings Bounty: The Legend
This game offers us a new formula for one of the best games ever existed, Heroes of Might & Magic 2. It's not as good as H2, but the original saga has lost his path so if you liked the first titles of Heroes of Might & Magic saga buy Kings Bounty: The Legend, you are going to love it.
Go for Gothic 3Arthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of ArcaniA: Gothic 4
Here we have a new Gothic. It's not as good as the previous one but it can be played. Go for it only if you have played at least Gothic 3 and The Witcher, if you have finished these 2 games and you liked them, then you will enjoy Arcania and it has tons of gameplay hours for just 25€ or so if you buy it in a good deal.
Ugly and useless gameArthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of El Matador
It's not worth it, seems from the 90's and it has a rude gameplay. There are much better options at this price and if you wanna use bullet time go for the orginal Max Payne or Wanted if you have already played Max's games.
Learn + Have funArthan | June 21, 2011 | Review of Clever Kids: Pony World
Make your kids learn while they have fun. When I was young I used to play "animals" in order to learn how to multiply and divide, now, with these kind of games our kids are able to improve their cognitive skills at the same time they have fun with games.
Destruction and chaosArthan | June 20, 2011 | Review of Just Cause 2
Do you wanna have fun? Do you wanna smash tons of buildings and destroy everything you can see? Get into the game, jump from the plane to the island and start shooting cause your main mission consists on smashing government bases and killing the army members.
Finally, a good DLCArthan | June 20, 2011 | Review of Magicka: Final Frontier DLC
At least, one of the new DLC's for Magicka offers something else than a "skin" or a versus map. This offers a couple of new maps for both versus and challenge modes, plus a new robe and new enemies. Buy it if you like the main game as I'm going to do.
Good idea, bad gameArthan | June 20, 2011 | Review of A Farewell to Dragons
A Farewell to Dragons offers a good plot, with a lot of funny conversations and a great story but fails in the most important thing a game has to offer, it's gameplay. It's graphics are really obsoleted and the gameplay it's cumbersome, you want to keep playing and go on with the story but it would be better with a more smooth and developed gameplay.
Great graphics!Arthan | June 15, 2011 | Review of Aion: Assault on Balaurea
The game offers more of the same AION, if you like the first one you are going to love Aion: Assault on Balaurea. Stunning graphics, great soundtrack as you play, pets! and tons of hours to enjoy the most beautiful MMO ever existed.
Good gameplay but nothing to offerArthan | June 15, 2011 | Review of Mafia II DLC: Jimmy's Vendetta
The problema of this DLC is that it doesn't offer anything to the main game. It's like a bunch of missions to offer some hours of gameplay but it has nothing to do with Vito's story.
Otherwise, it offers a new feature and it's that you can make cars explode by shooting at their gas deposit. Good gameplay and lot of action but still boring to play.
Run from the game!Arthan | June 15, 2011 | Review of International Basketball Manager: Season 2010-2011
This game has a nice face and lots of statistics. It seems to be a great game in the first hours but then fails when you get to the most important thing in a game like this, when you change from one season to the next one.
Players with contract who abandon my team, other players who want less money than I am offering them, players who just dissapear from the game... It could have been a good game and I really want to play a good basketball manager, but it has been tested at all.
Lie to your enemiesArthan | June 15, 2011 | Review of R.U.S.E.
That makes the difference. We have played plenty war games, but we never had one like RUSE. Here you can play as you do in any other game, using your units to break through your enemies defences but you can use RUSE's cards and lie to them, make them think you are going to attack their right flank with planes while your main forces are attacking their left flank with tanks. They won't know what to do.
Medieval battlesArthan | June 15, 2011 | Review of Mount & Blade: Warband DNS
It's the ultimate simulator for medieval battles, it's what you always dream about. Ride your horse aiding villagers or sieging castles all over Calradia and become the ruler of the world or your own or as a vassal to any of the kingdoms of the game. It's up to you.
When you can't stop playingArthan | June 15, 2011 | Review of Trackmania United Forever
It's quite simple. A great designed game, where you have tons of hours to play. It's not just that, you can prepare your own cars and tracks and share them with other players as you can download the ones that they create. It's a endless game and you won't stop playing it so don't buy it if you need time for your real life.
Just have fun, it's what mattersArthan | June 15, 2011 | Review of Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle
It's a great game you MUST play. If you want to talk to anybody about old games, this is the proper game to talk about. You don't have even to think about buying it if you never played Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle, just do it and enjoy!
