BigPaxDaddy | April 12, 2014 | Review of Titanfall (NA)

first of all let me say this isn't a bad game, infact it seems to be very well made. the graphics are pretty good and it's super smooth at 60 fps with hardly any drops ever. that said it is very dull after about 5 hours of play time. maybe it;s just me and i'm growing out of FPSs but i couldn't stay into this game very long. if you want to buy it wait for a price drop or huge sale. like i said it is fun but i don't think there is any longevity to it.

A great time sink!

BigPaxDaddy | Feb. 18, 2014 | Review of Sid Meier's Civilization® V

I am no strategist, but this game made me feel like I could be a great general or president or something. It's so much fun to try to build up your civ to be the greatest in the world. I will say though, you have to buy the 2 big DLCs for the game also or you will be missing out on alot of good things, as this game vanilla seems unfinished. Definitely worth it if you can find all of them cheaper than full price.

Just pretend you are Bruce Willis.

BigPaxDaddy | Feb. 18, 2014 | Review of Just Cause 2

All this game is about is blowing stuff up. If you aren't causing a car wreck or blowing somebodies head off or crashing a plane into a building at any given second of the game you are playing it wrong. That said, that's really all there is to do in this game. Don't come in here looking for some master story written by Steven Spielberg cause you are definitely in the wrong place. Actually the game would probably be better if there was no story. Pick this up on sale when you find it, don't pay full price

I wasn't that impressed. :/

BigPaxDaddy | Feb. 18, 2014 | Review of BioShock Infinite (NA)

Let me start by saying this is my first dive into the world of Bioshock. I have never played any of the previous ones before this one so I'm not sure if there is a story connection or not. With that said I found this game to be confusing as hell. The graphics are great and the gameplay is ok I never really felt anything that kept me wanting to play it. I only finished it because I paid good money for the game so I felt compelled to finish it. It's interesting and might be worth it if you can find it for no more than 10 bucks, but if it's more than that find something else.

Lee Everett the great

BigPaxDaddy | Feb. 18, 2014 | Review of The Walking Dead & 400 Days DLC Pack

So let me start by saying I'm not a click adventure type guy. The only one I've played before this game was Full Throttle which I thought was excellent, But that game can't even hold a candle to this masterpiece. Never before has a story in a game driven me to tears, laughter, excitement, and fear like this game has. I wish I could play this game for the first time every time I play it. The only reason I wouldn't give it a perfect is because one of the characters annoyed the crap out of me but I'm pretty sure they were designed to be that way. PICK THIS UP RIGHT NOW WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!

One of my favorite gaming experiences ever!

BigPaxDaddy | Feb. 16, 2014 | Review of Mass Effect Trilogy (NA)

I have never played Mass Effect but I played Mass Effect 2 and 3 and they are some of the most fun gaming experiences I've ever had. Mass Effect 2 might be one of the top 10 best games ever made. It's story draws you in and engages you from start to finish. Mass Effect 3 while the story isn't as strong, the gameplay is much improved over Mass Effect 2. Both are lovely looking and sounding games and suck you into the setting with ease. I would highly recommend this if you can find it on sale (even if you can't but if you can it's obviously better)
