Really fun game, but a bit shortBlueFireGaming | June 9, 2013 | Review of DLC Quest
To come straight to the point, this is a great and funny game, but it is a bit short. Also, if you have completed it once, I don't think you would want to play it again because it will be just the same.
This game is great fun if you like a game with joke, and with DLC for everything (even for walking to the left!) which you can buy with in-game currency, you can be searching for coins just to get every DLC in the game.
Although this game is fun, there are some downsides to it. Sometimes, the DLC's feel pushed. For example, when you go into a forest, you need to buy a DLC pack just to go back. Things like that are a bit annoying, but you can live with it.
If you like a game full of jokes and a weird concept to buy DLC to do almost anything, this is a great game. The only thing is that it is a bit short, and it is also a one-time-joke-game, to sum it all up...
Nice game, but you got to love itBlueFireGaming | May 11, 2013 | Review of Spec Ops: The Line dns
I will come straight to the point: Spec Ops The Line is a nice game, but you got to love it. This third person shooter has a focus on the story, and the choices are something really difficult to make. That's one thing that is really well made, you need to think before you choose or do something!
The graphics and sounds are quite well, not the best but also not the worst. The multiplayer on the other hand is just a waste of time and money. It feels rushed in and shouldn't have been put in the game completely (maybe they could've improved the singleplayer in that time a bit).
If you are a story focused kind of guy (or girl), this game is great, but if you just want to shoot stuff, there are better games out there. The story is a one-time experience which you won't see in any other game in this genre!
Awesome sports game, must buy for NBA fans!BlueFireGaming | Feb. 25, 2013 | Review of NBA 2K13 dns
I'll get straight to the point: NBA 2K13 is an amazing game. The graphics, animations and gameplay are really well-made, and many people walking by even think I'm watching a real match! I'm a big sports fan, and I also like the NBA really much, and I have to say that this game is just perfectly made for NBA fans.
Also, I really like the little things that 2K put into the game: from the fake social media tweets to your player after a match to the amazing soundtrack. I think that 2K did a great thing with having Jay Z as an executive producer. The overall style of the game is really nice, and as I said earlier, the soundtrack is just perfect for the game (with the exception of Viva la Vida, but that's just me).
The overall difficulty of the game is also well-balanced. The game isn't so hard that you will start rage-quitting after 1 minute, but it's also not like you are going to win every single game with a difference of like 20 points. This is a perfect example of a game that is easy to learn, but hard to master.
The only thing I would've liked is some kind of tutorial, just because the controls have been drastically changed as of this season: you use the right stick on your controller to perform tricks now, as well as to shoot the ball.
All in all, this is a great game and I would really recommend it to anyone who even likes the NBA a little bit. The game is a must buy!
Note: I haven't tried the online mode yet, but I think I won't ever, because I'm a singleplayer guy.
Great game, but not for everyoneBlueFireGaming | Jan. 15, 2013 | Review of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare PRE
This is just an awesome game! I love this type of games, where you really need to have the skills to win, not just luck or something.
Although many people love this game, it's not for everyone. It's a pretty hardcore game, and also it's a bit too mature for some people, because it has a lot of blood and stuff in it.
All in all, I really like this game and I would really recommend it to other people who like good hack 'n slash games.
Great DLCBlueFireGaming | Dec. 31, 2012 | Review of Sid Meier’s Civilization® V: Gods and Kings
If you like Civilization V, than you'll love this DLC, and for this price it's a must buy! It adds a lot of cool new things to this already awesome game!
Very original DLC, but it has it flaws...BlueFireGaming | Nov. 2, 2012 | Review of Sleeping Dogs: Nightmare in North Point
Usually I am not too keen on zombie-themed DLC, but this one I like very much. It is really original and adds a twist to the original game (which is also awesome!). Sadly enough it has it's flaws. Sometimes the fights can be really boring, because you got to fight the same enemies over and over again, but if you like the fighting it's still very nice. Also the story has some nice humour in it, which I really like. You also get some new costumes and vehicles, but that's not too important to me...
