Buy this if you like punishment

This game is brutal, I can't even play too much of it for fear of breaking my pc in anger. I knew what I was getting going in, however, so whenever I feel like a challenge, I boot this bad boy up. SMB plays like any other sidescroller out there. You run, you jump, you avoid things, however, they seem to have bumped everything up 1000%. The initial levels aren't tough at all, but as you progress out of the first few stages, it starts to ramp up exponentially. If you pick this one up, be ready for some of the most frustrating yet solid gameplay you will ever experience.

Easier to get into than past Civ games, still amazing.

Cptkrush | Sept. 4, 2011 | Review of Sid Meiers Civilization V - PC

Civ is probably the only series of strategy games that I can play. Civ V is no exception, I picked this game up for around 11 bucks and boy do I feel like GMG got ripped off. I've pumped over 50 hours into it and I hardly ever play it! It's your run of the mill Civ game, only they have simplified some things such as armies. However, the simplification of armies is probably my one complaint. It's a pain to have to move each and every single unit, one at a time, until they're all in position to attack, it really slows the game down even more. If you exclusively play offline like I do, the game can start to chug the further along you go, I'm guessing it has to do with storing more and more data as the game goes along. Other than that, this is definitely one of the better Civ games, check it out.
