AverageCradleOfCorpses | April 14, 2014 | Review of Frozen Hearth
Frozen Hearth is the Dark Souls of the RTS genre: damn challenging, at times infuriating, but rewarding to the persistent multi-tasking player. It's a shame there wasn't a bit more spit and polish before final release, because when Frozen Hearth isn't distracting you with oddities or omissions, it's actually a rewarding experience.
Not BadCradleOfCorpses | April 2, 2014 | Review of Bionic Dues
Turn-based Roguelike, fun and challenging :)
The games that started it all!!!CradleOfCorpses | Oct. 25, 2013 | Review of DOOM Classic Complete
DOOM... Where to begin. This game will hit you like a BFG and blast you to Mars. DOOM is one the grandaddys of the FPS genre. This game just kicks ass and to this day it still holds its own. The atmosphere, characters, enemies and weapons are original and creative. I can't fault this game in the slightest. Recommend Nightmare mode for the ultimate challenge.
Awesome GameCradleOfCorpses | Oct. 25, 2013 | Review of Doom 3
I remember the first time I played DOOM 3, the graphics just blew my mind. Sure enough now, they seem outdated but at the time no PC could run it on full. It was made more future systems. The storyline is intense and gripping, the weapons are amazing and of course it has the BFG ;). Although it doesn't live up to the originals; what could, but it is a decent game that'll take hours to complete and and provide a lot of enjoyment. The only downfall is if your'e a collector of collectibles, be warned that if you miss one of the PDA's in game, you may not be able to go back and collect it unless you start over.
Best indie game?CradleOfCorpses | Oct. 17, 2013 | Review of The Binding of Isaac
This is hands down one of the best indie games that I've had the pleasure of playing. There is so much replayability, it's unreal. The random spawning rooms, random upgrades, random weapons, no two playthroughs are the same. And unlike a lot of games released these days The Binding of Isaac is challenging, as there are no save slots and when you die that's it, Game Over... Start again. Add in the fact that there are over 10 endings, which all add to the game time. If you want a bit more of a challenge I'd also recommend buying the Wrath of Lamb dlc. This adds more rooms, more bosses, more items and increases the challenge tenfold.
Superb DealCradleOfCorpses | Oct. 16, 2013 | Review of Batman Super Pack
As the other Reviewer has stated The storyline in Arkham Asylum is rich and tense and the gameplay is immersive and fun. Arkham City improved on this game and allowed the player to explore a closed off section of Gotham and complete a batmobile load of side mission. Really looking forward to Origins and for this price, you can't complain :) Psst, use the 20% off voucher too hint hint
