Interesting Style of GameplayD3struction | July 8, 2013 | Review of Bulletstorm (NA)
This game is pretty interesting in how it rewards you points, based on how cool your kill looks. So it challenges you by not allowing you to keep doing the same kind of shoot everyone mentality that you are used to in the every day shooter. You are awarded points for switching up your kills and doing crazy stuff. The dialog and story is pretty unimportant and not very interesting to follow with its constant sexual humor and dick jokes, but its a very fun game to play and you will have tons of fun using the leash to throw enemies into spikes, walls, and off of cliffs.
Quite a SequelD3struction | July 8, 2013 | Review of Borderlands 2 (NA)
The original was a trailblazer for the epic adventure this game is. Borderlands 1 was pretty good at what it wanted to accomplish but this game improved on it in every possible way. The story, more interesting, the characters even more interesting, the gameplay refined in every aspect. Borderlands 2 is a proper sequel to Borderlands and is sure to keep you busy and entertained for hours and hours on end. The replayability is there, with the new vault hunter mode to toughen up the monsters for a 2nd or 3rd playthrough. Grab this game anytime, heck, even full price would be a good deal for the good time this game will give you
Great Start to a franchiseD3struction | July 7, 2013 | Review of Borderlands
I've played plenty of this game and it is very enjoyable. I remember when it was coming out, was going to be one of the first FPS RPGs other than fallout, and it lived it to the hype surrounding it. Really good game, the story is ok but the characters are very interesting, especially claptrap. You can get tons of replayability out of this with the multiple playthroughs in which the enemies just get tougher but you do the same missions. There is no 2 guns that are the same, and thats true, although they will kinda start to look the same all the stats are different. Overall, great game a classic, pick it up sometime and you wont regret it.
Overly HatedD3struction | July 7, 2013 | Review of Duke Nukem Forever
This game has gotten so much trash, its not even funny. I picked it up a while ago on a whim thinking it would be a cheap way to laugh at a bad game that was overhyped in development. What I got, was not that, I ended up getting a really good game that i couldn't understand why so many people hated. Its not the greatest game in the world but, it makes me enjoy it even more since i was expecting so little from it. There are a few annoying parts where you cant skip dialog and people talking but, overall its a really fun shooter where you do what duke does best: killing aliens, which is broken up nicely by puzzle sections. I've 100%'d this game and had fun doing so, should definitely give it a try when its on sale cheap.
