Addictive, humorous fun

DaxterD1 | Sept. 29, 2013 | Review of Poker Night at the Inventory - PC

Much better than it's less-well-thought-out sequel, PNATI has a more lovable cast of characters (if you can call a rabbit-thingy, masked prankster, beefy killer and sharp-tounged nerd lovable) better rewards, better communication between the Player and their opponents and more pleasing presentation and music. It's a small price to pay for something that may catch your attention longer than you expect...

Well worth the asking price

DaxterD1 | Sept. 29, 2013 | Review of Worms Armageddon - PC

I recently returned to this game after trying Worms Revolution. Both titles are great games, but if you want a blunt opinion, Team17 have never bettered themselves with this A* classic (or indeed Worms Armageddon if you want extra options!). A lovely art style, endless gameplay, hilarious sound banks, memorable music, thriving online multiplayer and more besides. It is a testament to Team17's community that this game continues to survive despite all the other iterations in the series. It'll stand the test of time for many more years..!

The Smash Brothers of racing games!

DaxterD1 | Sept. 29, 2013 | Review of Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed Limited Edition (1) - PlayStation 3

Almost dramatically overlooked, SAASRT is a clever twist on the tired kart racing genre that crams in just about every bit of Sega history it possibly can. Golden Axe, Shinobi, NiGHTS, House of the Dead and many more get plenty of references that are sure to keep you smiling, and 8 player online makes it highly addictive. It only suffers due to some dodgy water physics that can end up flipping you upside down at random times. Other than that, highly recommended!
