I want more!

DeadEndRic | Nov. 14, 2013 | Review of Tomb Raider

It can't be described how good this game turned out... but I'll try... I haven't been a fan of Tomb Raider games until now, I actually only played one of the very first games on the PSX, but it didn't felt that great back then. Now, after playing this masterpiece, I just want to see a sequel!

The story and the way it was told, was amazing, for graphics and sounds...got no words. I've been playing it trough for the 3rd time now and it still feels like when I was playing it the 1st time. Just freaking amazing! New fans or old fans, I don't think anyone could have dreamed of a better reboot for this awesome series.

Go Lara, you're a Croft!

York vs Lancaster

DeadEndRic | Nov. 14, 2013 | Review of War of the Roses: Kingmaker

The game is great in terms of realistic gameplay and atmosphere, just a bit hard to get used to. But after half an hour of playing (and not skipping the tutorial as always) you'll be out there swinging your greatsword cutting of heads, and executing the fallen!

The gameplay is simple, yet impressive, the graphics are great (a bit badly optimised, but that could be my PC.. most probably just my PC..) and I can't say anything bad about the sounds, but there could have been some more voice overs.

I really like medieval games, and this game got the potential. So if you like them to, go ahead and buy it!

Great job DICE!

DeadEndRic | Nov. 14, 2013 | Review of Battlefield 4 (EU)

Dice did it again, after the success of Battlefield 3 they've created another great shooter... not even great... it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The Frostbite engine might not be the best game engine of all times, but it suits the needs of Battlefield. The graphics of the game, is once again amazing, the sounds just blow you away and the animations seem to work better than before.

With the singleplayer, with got a medicore FPS game with a silent main character, but sometimes it feels like you're playing multiplayer, with the point system, weapon loadouts and drivable vehicles, which actually makes it feel better. It might not be the greatest story of all times, but it turned out better than Battlefield 3's did.

Now about the multiplayer.. We got back commander mode already seen in Battlefield 2, and most of the game modes from Battlefield 3. The gameplay mechanics got improved because they've fully rewritten the coding of the game. Also, the kill cam is now something where you can actually see who killed you, and from where. So overall, DICE did a better job with this game, than with the one that came before.

See you on the battlefield!

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legen-WAIT FOR IT-dary! Edition

DeadEndRic | Oct. 17, 2013 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim® Legendary Edition

This wasn't my 1st ever Elder Scrolls game to play, (I started out with Morrowind back in the days) and I loved it, even thou a lot of people who played the older titles first, said that Bethesda has ruined the Elder Scrolls experience by "dumbing down" Skyrim. I would say that it was more of an improvement, since this way the game can reach a much larger audience and it's not necessary to make an RPG super hard. So in my opinion, it's a very well made game, the story was amazing (side quests too) just as the sounds and graphics (even thou physics could take some polishing). The game overall (as every other TES) is a MUST BUY, it's worth it's price and every hour you spend on playing it!
