FatalityDukePaul | July 11, 2013 | Review of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition
Finally the new Mortal Kombat for PC, I can say the port is very good, graphics, framerate, online system are excellent.
This fighting game is perfect if you are looking for a single player experience because the story mode and all the content you have to unlock, also the multiplayer works great with a lot of modes and characters.
I can say this game is one of the best fighting games on PC.
Original and awesome conceptDukePaul | July 7, 2013 | Review of Frozen Synapse
I can say Frozen Synapse gameplay is a mix of Worms and those Pre planning screens from the old Rainbow Six games, this is a strategy game with turns, where you have to a lot of actions for the members of your team, like dodge, wait, focus on one direction, these actions can be a little complex at the start of the game but you will learn how to use them properly, the game has a great tutorial.
The game is for multiplayer matches with a lot of rules and modes but it has an awesome campaign with a lot of levels and challenges.
Buy this game if you want to try something different and you love turn based games,
Be a spy in World War IIDukePaul | July 6, 2013 | Review of Velvet Assassin
Velvet Assassin is a little unknown gem, the game doesn't offer anything new, it is very a classic stealth game with an original setting, the story and the main character are pretty interesting and you will want to finish this game as soon as possible to resolve the plot.
If you miss stealth games like Splinter Cell, buy this.
Cute skinDukePaul | July 6, 2013 | Review of Awesomenauts: Teddy Ayla
This is my favourite skin at the moment because it gives to Ayla an adorable and cute look with the teddy bear suit, she even shoots a heart of love to her enemies.
This skin fits Ayla like a glove with her friendly but rude personality, If Ayla is your main character in Awesomenauts, choose this skin to give to your battles a bit of love.
Monk skin.DukePaul | July 6, 2013 | Review of Awesomenauts: Shaolin Ayla
This skin is perfect if you want to see the evil and small Ayla in a cool outift, the shaolin skin gives her a monk robe and it changes her chain for a ball with spikes to look more intimidating, also her hair will have a traditional east style, if you like martial arts, this skin is for you.
Best speedDukePaul | June 11, 2013 | Review of GRID 2 - McLaren Racing Pack
McLaren is one of the best and iconics brands of cars of all time and with this pack you will get the awesome McLaren MP4-12C GT3, the model of this car is totally awesome thanks to the engine and graphics of this game.
Another skinDukePaul | June 11, 2013 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Space Marine - Death Guard Chapter Pack
The helmet with the horn on the top is a neat feature of this armour, Death Guard army colours are great if you like the the Chaos faction.
A mini-sim cityDukePaul | June 11, 2013 | Review of City Builder
City Builder is a game similar to Sim-City, with less options and simple graphics but that doesn't mean the game isn't fun, it has enough content and things do to have you playing it for hours.
It has also some puzzles to get resources and you will need to expand the city, also an important thing in this game is to link pipes in the underground, in fact it has a lot chores to do.
I think this game deserves more attention and if you like build cities, you will love this game.
New ModeDukePaul | June 11, 2013 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Space Marine - Chaos Unleashed Map Pack
In this DLC you will change factions, you will control the Chaos Space Marines and you will fight against the Imperial Guard and other space marines, it changes the co-op mode a lot.
All the weapons and itemsDukePaul | June 11, 2013 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War II: Retribution - Last Stand Complete Wargear Pack
In this pack you will have two new items or weapons for each of the six heroes from the Last Stand Mode, most of these weapons can change a lot the gameplay of your character.
Awesone skinsDukePaul | June 11, 2013 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War II: Retribution - Complete Chapter Pack Bundle

Legendary armorDukePaul | June 11, 2013 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Space Marine - Blood Angels Veteran Armour Set
The most famous faction of the space marines in the Warhammer Universe, the colours are unique, red and golden it is always a good combination with the metal armors.
The Best setDukePaul | June 11, 2013 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Space Marine - Alpha Legion Champion Armour Set
I really love this armor because it adds one of the best awesome helmets from the space marines, the hydra helmet and two other hydra heads in the shoulders making it a wild and cool look, I think this one is the best dlc armors in the game because it isn't a change of colours only.
If you are thinking to buy an armour set, get this.
Great armorDukePaul | June 11, 2013 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Space Marine - Legion of the Damned Armour Set
I love the skin from the Legion of the Damned faction, the flames and the helmet with that skull face and the red eyes, you will see a lot of players with this armor in the online multiplayer because the cool design, if you like this faction from Warhammer, buy it.
Addictive game modeDukePaul | May 28, 2013 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War II: Retribution - The Last Standalone
If you don't have the main game, the Last Stand is the best game mode of Dawn of War II: Retribution.
The gameplay is very simple, three players will have to fight in arenas against waves of enemies like orcs, space marines, eldars, tyranids, the chaos army and more.
You have six heroes with a few items and weapons, but every time you level up, you will get another item that change a lot the way you play the character, getting the items for all characters can take hours so the replay value is very high for this mode, it has a lot of achievements too.
Even if the main game is a real time strategy game and you don't like those, this mode is worth it.
A bit outdated but it has personalityDukePaul | May 28, 2013 | Review of Rise of the Argonauts
This game is not perfect, it has some bad flaws such as bad quality textures, stiffed animations, the exploration parts are very interesting but it has awesome voices for the characters and epic music, the excellent fighting system with freedom to fit your combat style and finishing moves with a good use of slow-motion. The skill tree and experience system will keep you busy for hours.
If you want an epic adventure in the Ancient Greece with monsters and some hack & slasch action, this is your game.
Legacy shooter gamesDukePaul | May 28, 2013 | Review of Raiden Legacy
The Raiden games were amazing, non-stop action shooter games with great art design and fun gameplay, now with this release for PC we can enjoy them again, the 2D graphics are a bit outdated but they still have some charm if you are a nostalgic gamer.
Raiden Legacy is perfect for old-school players and newbies, if you want to play these games again with new features, buy this, the difficulty can be hard but if you learn the basics, your skill should improve a lot.
The ape with tieDukePaul | April 24, 2013 | Review of Awesomenauts - Double-O-Yuri Skin
Now Yuri can look like a totally secret agent with his expensive and elegant suit and a classic double jetpack, don't worry, he wears a helmet for security.
This skin for this space ape is totally awesome, it gives the character a totally different look, the originality of the developers for skins is endless.
For Yuri fans, if you already have the other skin, this one is perfect if you want some fresh air in your battles
Hilarious skinDukePaul | April 24, 2013 | Review of Awesomenauts - Pimpy G Skin
This skin for Froggy G gives him a totally joke outfit with classic and stereotypical pimp style, the hat with feather, the star glasses, a collar of gold with a big clock, you will laugh every time you see him fighting against another characters with this clothes, that makes him a totally badass sometimes.
If your favourite character is this frog, buy this skin because is the best for him.
More Weapons, More Levels.DukePaul | April 2, 2013 | Review of Borderlands 2: Ultimate Vault Hunters Upgrade Pack
This DLC almost completes Borderlands 2, now you can level up your vault hunters to level 61 in a new third playthrough where you will find more hard enemies and more rare powerful weapons.
This DLC arrives late but at least for me I found a reason to play this game again, so if you want more action, buy this DLC or download it if you have the season pass.
Classic FPSDukePaul | March 27, 2013 | Review of Clive Barkers Jericho
Jericho from Clive Barkers doesn't add nothing new, you can select different characters ingame with different abilities, some of them are neat but others are dull.
The game looks fantastic and is a total gorefest. Jericho is also quite hard at times because you need to kill all enemies if you want to go forward, the AI for the enemies is very bad, they only think to kill to you, maybe this have charm for some people who love classic FPS gameplay.
Jericho also has QTE action cinematic parts where you need to press a button quickly, I think they are terrible but you can beat them.
I think the game has a great atmosphere and if you like it, the flaws that the game has will not bother you.
Another DLC weaponDukePaul | Feb. 14, 2013 | Review of Darksiders II: Van Der Schmash Hammer DLC
Like most of the downloadable weapons for Darksiders II, the VAN Der Schmash Hammer is good if you do a frest start of the game and you want to be strong and a bit overpowered, the hammer is slow but It does a lot of damage.
If you are weapons collector and you want all the stuff of the game, maybe you will enjoy it.
Little stormDukePaul | Feb. 14, 2013 | Review of Storm in a Teacup
Storm in a Teacup was a very good game for other systems with touch controls and now the game is out for PC with an improved port, It includes 50 levels and survival modes to give it more hours of gameplay, also the controls with a gamepad are very good and accurate.
The price is very cheap and it is a great platform game if you want a bit of challenge.
Awesome skinDukePaul | Feb. 1, 2013 | Review of Awesomenauts - Cap'n Vinnie and Seadog Spike DLC
This skin is for the newest characters of Awesomenauts, Vinnie and Spike, Vinnie's skin makes him look like a pirate and Spike gets a ghostly appearance, these skins don't change their abilities but they look neat in the arena, also the voice changes a bit with famous pirate puns.
High quality simulationDukePaul | Jan. 28, 2013 | Review of Train Simulator 2013
This game gets better every year and this last version is good enough to purchase it even if you don't like trains but beware because you need time to adapt, Train Simulator is a very hard game that requires from the player.
Also the graphics are incredible realistic, if you have a powerful PC to run the game in maximum graphics settings is like to see real trains.
The variety of trains and tracks are huge, It will be hard to get bored.
For this awesome price in Greenmangaming, I highly recommend this game to anyone.
Magnificent adventureDukePaul | Jan. 28, 2013 | Review of The Whispered World
The Whispered World is one of my favourites adventures from this developer, It offers a classic gameplay like the old point & click games with awesome 2D art, the characters seem taken from an animation film and the OST is very good, all songs are memorable.
The game isn't too long because some puzzles are very easy but It has enough hours of gameplay to be a indispensable adventure for any fan.
Dance!DukePaul | Jan. 23, 2013 | Review of Space Channel 5: Part 2
Space Channel 5 part 2 is the great sequel from the first game and It improves the first part a lot, the songs are very catchy, the controls are more precise and maybe It is too short but if you want an original game where you need press commands with rhythm of the songs this is your game!
Robots in the spaceDukePaul | Jan. 23, 2013 | Review of Strike Suit Zero
Strike Suit Zero is a space shooter but this time the main characters are huge robots or mechs with a great design by Junji Okubo and they have two forms: first one is like a spaceship to get max speed and power and the second is the combat form where you have more control over your robot to destroy enemies and big structures easily
The graphics are very good and you can see a lot of characters and effects in your screen at the same time, It has a very powerful engine.
I think it is a very original game and if you like anime stories you will enjoy the plot and dialogues
Double Fine is Back!DukePaul | Jan. 23, 2013 | Review of The Cave
Ron Gilbert and his team are back to give us a fascinating adventure in a cave where you don't know the surprise it contains inside, items from all ages of time and a lot hilarious characters.
You will need to resolve the puzzles with 7 main characters but you can choose only three of them at the start of the game, this adds replay value if you want a different team each you play The Cave.
The animations and graphics are incredible, you will love all the characters because the art is impressive.
Also the game has Cooperative and think and resolve puzzles with a friend is very fun, you can beat the game in seven hours but you will play it again to try different combinations of characters.
This is one of the best games of Ron Gilbert.
Sonic and TailsDukePaul | Jan. 22, 2013 | Review of Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Even if others games are better, Sonic 2 is my favourite game of the franchise, It was a great sequel, even better than the first game, Tails was a great character and thanks to him we had a game where two players can play at the same time.
The game has 11 zones with 2 acts each and I think all levels are perfect and the bonus stages were very fun.
For more action with Sonic and Tails, Add this game to your collection.
Pinball with SonicDukePaul | Jan. 22, 2013 | Review of Sonic Spinball
This game was very original, for the first time Sonic was the ball in a giant Pinball where you need to do high scores and free animals, other games have overcome their physics but it is a very fun game and gives a nice touch of nostalgia.
Buy it if you are a real Sonic the Hedgehog fan.
A change of perspectiveDukePaul | Jan. 22, 2013 | Review of Sonic 3D Blast
Sonic 3D blast is very different from other Sonic games, here the speed is not the main core of the game and you need to explore and save the Flickies, It was a very acclaimed game thanks to the 3D feeling that the game gives but it is a bit outdated right now.
Overall, It is still a good game.
One of the best classic games with franchiseDukePaul | Jan. 22, 2013 | Review of Sonic 3 and Knuckles
Sonic 3 and Knuckles was the the highest point in the classic franchise with the Sega Megadrive console, all the songs are master pieces and the gameplay was improved thanks to the new character Knuckles, It was a very well received game.
I think if you need to try a classic Sonic game, try this because it is an essential title of the franchise.
The first real 3D SonicDukePaul | Jan. 22, 2013 | Review of Sonic Adventure DX
This game was a hit on Dreamcast (and later ported to Gamecube) thanks to the awesome and pretty graphics, the six characters (Sonic, Tails, Amy Rose, Knuckles, E-102 Gamma and Big the Cat) the game offers varied gameplay, fast action with Sonic, Shooter zones with Gamma and even fishing time with Big)
If you never played this game before, now it is the moment to do it.
The first Sonic game!DukePaul | Jan. 22, 2013 | Review of Sonic the Hedgehog
This game made history in 1991, colorful graphics, fast paced platforming action where the main character is fast like a bullet, explosive gameplay with original bosses, this is a classic and the first Sonic the Hedgehog game will be always one of the best games from SEGA.
Hunt in the seaDukePaul | Jan. 22, 2013 | Review of Depth Hunter
This is a game where you need to dive and hunt wild animals, find treasures or even explore with freedom and thanks to the awesome graphics and sound effects, it is a very inmersive experience, the fish look very natural and sometimes even they seem alive.
If you can run this game with maximum settings and you have the option to actiave the 3D mode, you will have a glorious visual reward for your eyes.
A good idea.DukePaul | Jan. 22, 2013 | Review of Deep Black Reloaded
Deep Black Reloaded is your typical Third Person Shooter, simple gameplay and good action scenes. It introduces interesting things like underwater combat but the game is a bit generic and needs more new elements to shine over other games.
Overall, It is a great game with nice graphics, good story and frenetic gameplay.
A great campaignDukePaul | Jan. 21, 2013 | Review of Magicka: Vietnam DLC
Magicka is a weird and fun game and this expansion proves it, our wizards need to travel to Vietnam at war, when you land here, you will have a camouflage robe, a USA flag staff and the famous M16 rifle, use fireweapons with magic and avoid the napalm attacks!
The campaign is a little short but with this scene and the awesome items you get, it is totally worth it.
Needs more actionDukePaul | Jan. 21, 2013 | Review of Diver
This game is perfect if you want to see the treasures and animals from the sea, but it is very slow and sometimes very boring, When you see all this game offers the replay value is almost nothing, the graphics are pretty decent and the sound is ok but It needs more things to do when you are diving.
New Challenges!DukePaul | Jan. 21, 2013 | Review of Hell Yeah! Virtual Rabbit Missions
I like a lot this game but it was a bit easy to beat, now with the Virtual Rabbit Missions DLC you can have 50 challenges with a virtual reality scene, most of them are really hard and they have three difficulty settings, if you buy this pack you will have about 3 hours more of gameplay even if you are a very good player.
I think this game is a little gem and the developers deserve more support, if you like the game but you need more from this rabbit, this DLC for the game is really worth it.
One of the best civilizationsDukePaul | Jan. 19, 2013 | Review of Sid Meier’s Civilization® V: Civilization and Scenario Pack: Denmark - The Vikings
When I bought the game I missed a lot a viking faction, but now we have them and Bluetooh is an intimidating and warlike leader to fear, also you if choose this civilization early in the game you can start with the powerful Berserkers, a melee unit that can destroy barbarians in seconds.
I think this faction is essential in any Civilization game.
The Hammer of painDukePaul | Jan. 19, 2013 | Review of Darksiders II: Fletcher's Crow Hammer DLC
Another item if you want to have a great blunt weapon early in the game, the design for me is very good on this one and I think it is a nice buy if you need more variety for weapons, this hammer even for low level characters is awesome.
Buy it for completion of the game.
A great maceDukePaul | Jan. 19, 2013 | Review of Darksiders II: Mace Maximus DLC

New zoneDukePaul | Jan. 18, 2013 | Review of Darksiders II: Abyssal Forge DLC
Abyssal Forge DLC opens a new zone in the game with a great story and includes two new dungeons hard as hell, it is a real challenge but a very short challenge, I think you can beat this zone in less than two hours.
The best thing about this DLC is the art design, It adds more variety to the game, grab this if you want the full experience of Darksiders II.

Kairo offers a very simple world but with very complex puzzles, the world feels like you are the only living thing on earth and a very lonely atmosphere with strange places exploring and thinking solutions to advance through the game without text.

This game from the creator of Civilization franchise is an inmortal title, for me, I play Pirates almost every year, maybe the graphics are very old even they weren't very good in his release, but the gameplay is fun as hell and the story is a great plot about revenge.
You have a lot of freedom to explore the seas to find treasures, attack other ships and steal the loot and frenetic swordfights.
It is a sandbox with endless replay value, every time you start a new game you can do things different.
Sid Meier's Pirates! is very cheap and you can have one of the best games of the previous generation for a low price.
A perfect mixDukePaul | Jan. 14, 2013 | Review of The Ball
The Ball uses the Unreal Engine 3 and that gives to the game awesome graphics but the originality of this game comes from the physics of the ball that you will control wilth an antigravity device, you will use the ball to resolve puzzles and kill enemies, it reminds to the Portal games from Valve.
The dark setting and the design of enemies is very good and It gives to the game a mature look, for a first person shooter without guns, this is is a great achievement.
I think this game is a gem from Tripwire (the developers) and It deserves more attention.

If you like Dishonored but you think the game is a bit easy for you, this DLC is the thing you need, It adds new ten missions, they are difficult but fun to play and they offer stealth, puzzles and combat, for this low price is a great addition to the game and thanks to the online leaderboards you will replay them to break records.
York ArmorDukePaul | Jan. 8, 2013 | Review of War of the Roses: House of York Armor Set
This armor set is great if you are a fan of the York faction, I think it looks better than the Lancaster armour but don't expect this will affect the gameplay, only buy this if you want look better and cool than the other players, I think we need more fantasy armors.
Armour DLCDukePaul | Jan. 8, 2013 | Review of War of the Roses: House of Lancaster Armour Set
We have a cheap armor here, I think it looks good and It fits better with the Lancaster history but it doesn't show a great impact in the game, buy if if you like the design.
The best skins for these charactersDukePaul | Jan. 7, 2013 | Review of Awesomenauts - Mean and Green Bundle
If you want a cooler Froggy G with a special swimsuit, a rock & roll Derlp and a cute bee Gnaw, this skins are priceless for them, they are very well done and the characters look great with this alternative outfits, if you want to add more humour to Awesomenauts, pick this.
Original skinDukePaul | Jan. 7, 2013 | Review of Awesomenauts - Mousquetaire Leon Skin
For a game that is located in the space, a musketeer skin is hilarious, I think Leon needs a ninja outfit because he is a stealth character but well he is french and the musketter skin is great for him, the skin adds a floret as weapon for Leon too, it is only a skin so don't expect more range or something like that for his melee attack.
Derpl is cooler nowDukePaul | Jan. 7, 2013 | Review of Awesomenauts - Hot Rod Derpl Skin
If you want a great a change in Derpl's vehicle, this is for you, this skin totally changes it, the skin adds big exhaust pipes to give it a cooler and motorized look, when you turn on siege Mode this skin is smashing.
For fans of this character, I think is a great skin for him.
Great Skins!DukePaul | Jan. 7, 2013 | Review of Awesomenauts - Tropical Thunder Bundle
If you want epic skins for Clunk and Lonestar and a sexy outfit for Coco, this is your bundle, the Officer outfit for our space cowboy is awesome and the character looks way better with it, same for Clunk if you want to look more bad ass.
If you like these characters this is your bundle.
Great characters and storyDukePaul | Jan. 5, 2013 | Review of Of Orcs and Men
This is the first game where an orc and a goblin are the main heroes, this game combines battles with a turn-based system like Dragon Age Origins with a lot of skills and abilities.
The game is very linear with levels where you need to stealth from the humans and the story is simple but thanks to the great voice acting of the main character it becomes a great story with cool moments.
If you want a different RPG with great graphics and atypical characters this game is for you, It is a very refreshing experience for a fantasy game.
Not badDukePaul | Jan. 5, 2013 | Review of Dungeons: Gold Edition
In the first look, this game resembles the famous classic Dungeon Keeper, but it is very different, maybe this can be disappointment but the game is still fun, the goal is prepare traps to kill the heroes that enter to your dungeon, you have many ways to do and in every level the difficulty will increase, also the maps are varied to avoid repetition.
This gold edition offers all the content from the original game and the expansion, so you can play the full experience, for this price is a very good deal if you want to try something different in a RTS.
Micromachines!DukePaul | Jan. 3, 2013 | Review of Bang Bang Racing
This game remembers me the old Micromachines games or at least It is fun as those, the gameplay is totally arcade with accurate controls to move your car very smoothly around the curves, the circuits are very well done with nice graphics.
The only bad thing is the absence of online multiplayer but at least it has splitscreen for four players.
For this cheap price, it is worth it, Bang Bang Racing is different and offers a different perspective of the genre.
New great contentDukePaul | Jan. 2, 2013 | Review of SpellForce 2: Faith in Destiny Scenario 1 - Flink's Secret Diary
Finally a new DLC for the stand alone expansion of Spellforce 2 is available and others are incoming in the next weeks. In this first scenario your hero is a thief so stealth is the key and you will need to resolve puzzles but rememeber that you will need to do the RTS part too.
Awesome PriceDukePaul | Dec. 28, 2012 | Review of Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package dns
The most funniest action sandbox with all the content released in a single pack for this insane cheap price? you need to buy this now, every moment you play this game you will laugh because is hilarious in every aspect and the best thing is the Co-op mode to do misdeeds around the city with a friend.
You need to see how a shark can break the asphalt and eat people to check why this game is so awesome.
Best Collection for Total WarDukePaul | Dec. 28, 2012 | Review of Total War Master Collection
Six games for the Total War franchise and the amazing Viking: Battle for Asgard are included in this bundle with a very cheap price at this moment, if you want to have all the game from the series and hundrers hours of fun with strategy titles.
And Viking: Battle for Asgard is great game if you want some adventure with huge battles and exploration.

And the history continuesDukePaul | Dec. 28, 2012 | Review of Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai Collection
The expansion for Shogun 2 is hugely amazing, It adds a lot of foreign factions a lot of nations that are allied with the japanese clans and they give them firepower, this changes the original gameplay of the main game a lot and the naval battles are improved.
The bundle includes all the DLC for this expansion and remember Fall of the Samurai is a stand alone expansion that doesn't need the original game.
A great Spin-offDukePaul | Dec. 28, 2012 | Review of Napoleon: Total War Collection
This game offers almost the same gameplay as Empire: Total War but this time you can control the great french strategist: Napoleon in his famous battles around Europe and even you can change the history!
This Collection is awesome because includes all the content from the game which add new units and campaigns to the game.
If you want to experience the great battles of Napoleon and learn a lot about him you will enjoy this game immensely.
The war continuesDukePaul | Dec. 28, 2012 | Review of Empire: Total War Collection
Empire: Total War was a great twist for the franchise, for the first time you can use firepower in battles and these weapons changes the strategies a lot.
In this game the world is bigger, the nations are more dangerous, you can have naval warfare with ships to conquest the world.
If you like when the nations were in a global war to add more territories for their empires, you will enjoy a lot this game.
The total japanese warDukePaul | Dec. 28, 2012 | Review of Total War: Shogun 2 Collection
Shogun 2 is the newest and most refined game of the Total War franchise, it offers a lot options for economy, battles in land and sea, political system and religion, a very long campaign with a lot of factions, you will find that it is almost impossible get bored with this game.
The bundle includes a great set of new clans for Japan and the small campaign: Rise of the Samurai which is short but It extends the game.
The graphics are awesome, if you can run this game in the maximum settings you will find incredible battles.
If you never bought a game from the Total War series, this game is a good beginning
Best ModsDukePaul | Dec. 28, 2012 | Review of Medieval II: Total War Collection
This game stills have the awesome gameplay of the Total War series but the great thing of this title is the the amount of mods you can find for it, you can use a Lord of the Rings mod and make epic battles in the Middle Earth.
This bundle includes the expansion Kingdons and this one is very good because adds a lot of content for the game.
If you want intense medieval battles, this game is for you.
The best Total WarDukePaul | Dec. 28, 2012 | Review of Rome: Total War Collection
Rome Total War was the first game of the franchise I played and even if the graphics are outdated, the game is the best of the series for me and it shines everytime I play it.
This bundle includes the expansion Alexander which is a great addition for the main game, if you want a preview of Rome II: Total War, buy this.
The art is originalDukePaul | Dec. 24, 2012 | Review of War of the Human Tanks [Playfire]
I played a lot of war games but this one offers a different direction in the art part, all the characters are little girls with cute faces and a humorous behavior, for a war setting this is very hilarious, even the intro is like an anime opening with a japanese singer.
The gameplay is splitted in two parts: a turn-based strategy game with a grid, and a visual novel where the only thing you need to do is read, if you like the characters and the story you will enjoy it.
For this price, you can check out this game.
Best Batman GameDukePaul | Dec. 23, 2012 | Review of Batman Arkham City: Game of the Year -
Arkham City was the game of the year for me, Rocksteady Studios did a good job with his universe and giving him all the things that make Batman one of the best superheros of all time.
The gameplay is like a little sandbox game, you need to do missions in a district ruled by the Hugo Strange, the streets are full of criminals and to combat against them you have all the famous gadgets from Batman and of course a great set of combos, but remember Batman is better when he is hide in the shadows, so this is a stealth game too.
If you like this hero from DC, you need to play this game.
Hardcore jumpsDukePaul | Dec. 23, 2012 | Review of Super Meat Boy
Super Meat Boy is a game where you will die a lot, even this title can be the game that breaks your record of deaths in a videogame but this insane difficulty is great because the levels are short and it is very addictive try to the beat the level, die and then restart it, if you have patience you will beat the normal world with all the levels but if you want to complete the game, you will need real skill.
Also watch out with the saws! in this game they will be your worst enemy.
The best realistic FPSDukePaul | Dec. 23, 2012 | Review of Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad
Red Orchestra 2 is the best experience if you want to feel the realism of a real war where one bullet is one dead.
The game has almost the same gameplay as the first Red Orchestra but with interesting additions and improvements: best cover system long range combat is less frustrating, bullet penetration is possible now or controllable breathing when you are zooming with a sniper weapon, of course the graphics are way better in this second game with more smooth animations and textures with more quality
The game had bugs but Tripwire is an awesome developer and they fixed most of them, the experience in multiplayer is very good and is easy to find full servers.
It is the best game based in World War II.
Space warsDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Sins of the Solar Empire Trinity
This game doesn't have a story, it is a strategy sandbox game in the space where you lead a civilization, getting into the game is easy but you need to play a lot to learn all the concepts because the tutorials only explain basic things, also I reccomend to play the AI in easy difficulty in your first match, the interface is clean and easy to understand.and the controls are simple.
The graphics for the battles are incredible, you can see fleets of space ships everywhere. the sound effects for the plasma weapons, lasers and when the space cruisers explode are outstanding.
The gameplay has diplomacy but I think is very weak and the core of the game are the large epic battles.
If you have a lot of free time you will enjoy a lot Sins of the Solar Empire: Trinity,
A genuine expansionDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Naval War Arctic Circle: Operation Tarnhelm
This expansion adds a lot new units for the main game, The new planes: the stealth bombers from the USA and Russia and the devastating warships, the good thing is you can use these new units in two new epic missions, you will enjoy a lot the new scripts.
Also if you are fan of the skirmish mode, It includes a mission for that, the multiplayer map is awesome.
Operation Tarnhelm is a great addition for your game.
Africa is hereDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Pride of Nations: The Scramble for Africa
If you buy the Scramble of Africa DLC, you will the get map for this continent and play the campaign for the colonization by the Europeans that started in 1880 where all the nations were in a race to colonize territories, this battles for the supremacy of the Africa will end in the The Great War (World War I)
This DLC also includes new units appropriate to the situation and technologies from these years.
Build bigger cities.DukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Tropico 4 Megalopolis
Now your little little island can be bigger with this DLC, but if your population grows, the problems too, you wiil have a lot unemployed people and food shortages.
The new mission Megalopolis is very fun and it will be difficult to manage the largest city in the Caribbean and when the bureaucrat arrives the chaos will be complete in the island.
Awesome factionDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Warlock: Master of the Arcane - Return of the Elves DLC
Finally the Arethi Elves are here, this faction is very fast and powerful and with great spells, this DLC also includes a new Great Mage and new perks for the old ones.
The new units are buildings are ok, they look a little cheap but in a strategy game like this that doesn't matter too much.
If you need more elves for Warlock: Master or Arcane this DLC is great and adds a lot of new content.
Artifacts everywhere.DukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Warlock: Master of the Arcane - Master of Artifacts DLC
This DLC changes the gameplay a bit, now your special units can use the artifacts to be stronger or use new abilities, most of them are very common but if you find a rare artifact your army will be unstoppable.
I think it is a good idea get this DLC in a bundle or with a great deal for a better experience with the game.
The best season passDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Worms Revolution: Season Pass
Right now three DLCs packs of the season pass are out, the Funfair pack is awesome because it includes the mighty armageddon, the stinky skunk and the napalm air strike, the Mars Pack includes the buffalo of lies, the lighting strike to revive your worms if they dead and the crate strike, also the Mars level has an incredible background with martians greeting you, these packs includes new missions and puzzles for the single player campaign.
The Medieval Tales pack is the weakest pack because it doesn't include weapons but ten excellent missions and funny hats, the Medieval level is very epic.
I highly recommend the season pass because you will get a lot of content that is essential for a worms game.
Nice platfomerDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Nicky Boom 1 & 2
This bundle includes the two games from Nicky Boom, these games were released first for iOS, expect simple games with easy controls.
The games mix platforms and puzzles and they are very easy, the graphics are like 16-bits console games with pixelated and cartoony characters and sound effects are ok, I think this game is perfect for kids.
The story continuesDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Secret Files 2
Secret Files 2 is great point and click adventure like the first one, the story is more intriguing and the voice acting is improved a lot, the puzzles are brilliant and the game maybe needs a bit of humour but the atmosphere is very immersive.
The game gives you more hints to resolve the puzzles and they aren't hard, the graphics are still good and they represent great the characters and the exotic places you will need to visit.
For an adventure game is very long, I think you need at least 15 hours to complete, if you aren't stuck in some puzzle.
A diablo cloneDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of R.A.W: Realms of Ancient War
Realms of Ancient War is very generic, it doesn't offer something new, the enemies like giant spiders, demons or undeads that you saw hundreds of times before, but this doesn't mean the game is bad, in fact, it is very fun and it is the fastest hack and slash I ever played, you will enjoy a lot killing waves of enemies with your skills.
The bad thing about this game is the Co-op is only for local multiplayer and for these game online multiplayer is totally necessary, also the levels are very linear, It needs more exploration.
If you finished Torchlight or Diablo and you are still hungry for games like this, you can give it a try.
A lot of content that changes the gameplayDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Port Royale 3: Harbour Master
If you are worried because the main game needs more content, Harbour Master is pretty good, It adds six new buildings like an embassy that opens a lot of the options for diplomacy, It includes a lot of items for your town like statues or several pavings and it gives you more hints and advices if you need help through the game.
This DLC also is good if you want total control for the defense of your cities and for the first time you can build your own ships!, you have the freedom to select the best parts.
Definitely, a great DLC.
Another campaignDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Port Royale 3: Dawn of Pirates
Dawn of Pirates gives you the option to be a pirate in Port Royale 3, you will have your own hideout to keep your loot, you will need to raid and plunder other boats, the main objetive of this DLC is to be the fastest pirate in the Caribbean and then you can compare your score in the leadeboards.
I think this DLC adds a new level of fun for Port Royale 3, it is totally worth it.
Sega FishingDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of SEGA Bass Fishing
This videogame was so special in Dreamcast thanks to the special controller that simulates a fishing rod, this time we don't have that but the funny gameplay is still here and when you play this game you will discover that fishing is not bored anymore, so prepare your motorboat and be ready to catch some fish.
It looks like a filmDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of StayDead
This fighting game is very original, the graphics are Full Motion Video like a real film, It reminds me the games from the Sega CD.
The controls are very simple, when you are a fighting against an opponent you have time to press the keys like a QTE, if the opponent doesn't defend right you will get a point when the rounds are over, you will win if you attacks and defense were successful.
The game has a lot of achievements and the real time sequences are pretty cool, it is hard to see the same twice.
Stay Dead is perfect if you want to test your reflexes.
The originDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Hitman: Codename 47 [Playfire]
This game is perfect if you want to know how the Hitman saga begun, this Codename 47 is the first game of the franchise and right now the price is very cheap, the graphics are outdated but the gameplay is still awesome, maybe it has some flaws like incredible smart AI or very hard difficulty but you can still the enjoy this fantastic stealh game.
A easy puzzle gameDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Quantum Conundrum
When you play this game for the first time you will see Quantum Conundrum resembles to Portal but it has his own personality, the puzzles have more variety thanks to the powers of the glove, it changes dimensions in the rooms of the game like, light gravity, heavy gravity, slow down, gravity inverted and you will need to use the items around to resolve the puzzles.
The only annoying thing is the voice of your uncle the entire game, he speaks too much, but if you can ignore that, the game is very fun and It has a leaderboard for scores and records so the replay value is great even if you know how to resolve the puzzles the second time you play them.
Right now the game has an incredible price, if you like puzzles in first person, you will enjoy it.
A very good DLCDukePaul | Dec. 22, 2012 | Review of Dungeon Siege 3: Treasures of the Sun
Treasures of the Sun offers a new zone that was blocked by the plot in the original game, the new map based in a sand desert is very big and It has original enemies, also the best thing of this DLC is you can level up your character to level 35, so it is a good option grab this new content if you reached the maximum level in the standard game.
It feels more like a little expansion for this price.
A essential storyDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Deus Ex: Human Revolution – The Missing Link
if you want to know all the plot for Deus Ex: Human Revolution you need to buy this DLC because it gives important details about the story of the game in this sidequest.
The only bad thing is all your skills and abilities are gone for the sake of the story but don't worry because the stealth gameplay of this mission is very fun and addictive and it has the best boss battle of the game.
This DLC is very well done and it show how the developers care about their game.
Resident Evil 5 action!DukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Resident Evil 5
Maybe this game isn't a proper survival horror but It gives enough action and tension to be one of the best games from Capcom.
The best thing about this game is the Cooperative mode, you can beat the campaign with a friend that controls another character that fits the story.
Even if the game is a bit old, the graphics are awesome, the cutscenes have a choreography and facial expressions that you will never see in other games, Resident Evil 5 is still one of the best looking game of the generation.
The PC port is the best version so far and even if you have the game in consoles I highly reccomend buy it again for a best experience.
A parody rpgDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Mark Leung: Revenge of the Bitch
I don't know if this game is more like a tribute or a parody of the classic rpg games for consoles, it has a lot of funny references and sometimes they laugh about it.
The gameplay is very simple, turn based battles with a lot of attacks and skills, nothing you have not seen before except for how the characters name their attacks with puns.
The graphics and music are ok, this game has a very bizarre world with odd characters.
I never saw a game like this and you can have a good time with it if you catch all the references.
London is here!DukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Cities in Motion: London
The great and shiny city of London is here for you!, you will need to control the transport service with the famous red buses and this is can be a real challenge in rush hour.
The developers did a good job with the recreation of the city and if you live here you will love it.
I reccomend grab this DLC if you want to play in one of the most emblematic cities of the world.
The evolution of musicDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Rocksmith™
Rocksmith is a step foward in the future of the musical games, this game allows you to plug a real guitar and it gives you enough tools to learn how to be a real guitarist once you get used to the note reading system, but of course the most importat thing is you will have fun learning.
The game offers minigames to improve your play, with practice and perserverance you will find this is a refreshing experience if you compare it with other musical games.
The standard tracklist can be better but the game has a lot of DLC songs.
In my opinion Rocksmith is one of the best games of the year, It doesn't matter if you never played the guitar before, this title is for new players and experts.
A weird but fun platformerDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken
This game is a blast of concepts, I never saw a game with this humour and dark setting, sometimes is hilarious but other moments are really cruel, you can't imagine that a penguin mafia and our main protagonist Hardboiled Chickend can be so bloody and sadistic.
The action on this side scroller game is very high and the controls respond very good for this, the graphics are amazing even sometimes they look very realistic and you can enjoy the great Co-op mode with a friend
The price now is very cheap and I recommend to buy it if you want a funny challenge.
A great packDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of RIFT®: STORM LEGION™ Combo Pack
This bundle includes the base game, the expansion Storm Legion an special item, if you don't mind about the extras, buy this because the price is a great deal, it offers enough content to be satisfied in the universe of Rift
A great set of players, quests and monsters await for you, this game is a gem if you like massive multiplayer online rpgs.
The best pack for this MMORPGDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of STORM LEGION™ Infinity Edition
This bundle includes the complete experience for Rift, with all updates, expansions and extras plus thirty days of game time, for a MMORPG this means you will have fun for months because all content included here is endless, even more if you have friends to play it.
If you want to play one of the best online multiplayers games in the market, buy this because you will not regret enter in this world.
A great expansion for RiftDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of STORM LEGION™ Expansion
This expansion adds a lot of new content to the game, the new map is four times bigger than the old one, the new carnage quests are really fun and the new dungeons have a lot creativity, you will never get bored thanks to the ton of things you can do.
And if you are a fan of the storyline, the plot is more interesting now, definitely an indispensable expansion if you like Rift.
Space flightsDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Iron Sky Invasion [Playfire]
Iron Sky Invasion has so many flaws and the main problem is the game is so boring sometimes, the gameplay is hard and very slow, this game needs a lot improvement like better graphics and multiplayer, but maybe the space flights fans will enjoy it, the concept itself is good but it feels a little rushed except for the graphics.
Original shooterDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Reload
This FPS is very original because the enemies aren't soldiers, aliens or zombies, they are only targets made of paper or wood like the ones you see in shooting drills, in this game you only need to worry about you score, shooting all the targets except the ones that represent hostages.
The stages have a huge variety of enviroments and a great selection of guns, my favourite is the sniper section where you need to show real skill to hit distant targets, also the game includes an online leardboard to compare your scores with other people.
I think is a great concept and fun to play it.
The best collectionDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Cities in Motion Collection
Finally the best traffic simulation game gets a complete pack, you will get all the content and dlc for an awesome price.
The gameplay is based to control the public transport system of the cities like buses, metro, trams, waterbuses, and helicopters and don't think this is easy, this is a good simulation game so you will find a real challenge to resolve the traffic issues of your city.
The graphics are great, the game runs smooth and the interface is very clear.
The game is very addicting and with all the content you will never get bored of it.
A retro platformerDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Dark Void Zero
Dark Void Zero is a nice twist for the franchise and return to his origins, this game combines retro graphics, 8-bit music with a gameplay based in exploration and platforms like the old 2D Metroids also some levels can be very hard, this is game is designed for old school players but don't worry because you will find hints of what to do if you are stuck.
The controls are good but I think you will play better if you have a gamepad.
For this cheap price this game deserves a try if you like new games with retro look.
One of the best games from CapcomDukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Devil May Cry 4 dns
Devil May Cry 4 is a very good port, the only thing you need to enjoy it: a controller, because playing this game with a keyboard and mouse is very hard because of the depth control scheme.
The gameplay is nonstop action, sometimes with puzzles but most of the time you will be killing demons with combos with the two main characters: Necro and Dante, each one has a unique set of combos, weapons and abilities.
If you like the next generation of hack and slash games with frenetic action and a hardcore gameplay and you want to test your limits, this game is perfect for you.
Best Fighting game.DukePaul | Dec. 21, 2012 | Review of Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition
Capcom bring us to PC the best fighting game of the generation, Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition has an explosive gameplay, easy for the new players and with 39 characters (classic characters like Ryu and Guile and new ones like Rufus and Abel) is the most balanced version.
The classic remixes from the old characters are awesome, the facial animations are incredible funny and the light effects gives to the game a unique look.
The netcode for the online multiplayer is great, it is like playing with a friend near to you and the options are huge, you can make a lobby with seven spectators, they will wait until the battle ends and then one of them will be your next opponent.
I highly recommend this game because is essential in every collection even if you don't like fighting games a lot.
Relaxing platfomerDukePaul | Dec. 20, 2012 | Review of PID
Pid is a platformer with a great universe, the graphics are friendly and the soundtrack is jazz music, this creates a relaxing atmosphere because even if you die, you will back to the nearest checkpoint so you don't need to worry if you make a mistake.
The game offers a lot of basic puzzles, some of them are interesting because they introduce new mechanics in the game also for a 2D platformer it has a lot exploration and you will need to use enviroment to beat some enemies.
One of the best things about this game is Co-op mode, only a few platformers have this option and this game can become in a really fun experience with two players.
The controls can be better and the game is a bit short but if you like platformers and exploration games like Limbo you will enjoy this game too.
If you want more Assassin's Creed III, buy thisDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Assassin's Creed III: Season Pass
Right now one of the DLCs for thIs season pass is out "The Hidden Secrets pack" and it is a good start, It seems Ubisoft is taking the game seriously and they will make more content for this game, Assassin's Creed III will have a great future if they make high quality missions and more characters for the multiplayer.
Also the Tyranny of King Washington looks promising, it is a very interesting concept to see a monarch ruling the land of the United States in an alternate reality.
I think this season pass is worh it the price for the best game of the franchise.
Original simulatorDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Lunar Flight
In this game you can feel a fantastic experience: a travel to the moon.
The gameplay is basically fly the lunar module from base to base without running out of fuel, transporting cargo or recovering it and landing without crashing, this isn't easy because the flying is very complex but once you learn to read the instrumentation you will be a master and then you can try the time trials and see the leaderboards.
Maybe the missions can be a bit repetitive but with this wonderful atmosphere and the realistic sound effects you need to try this game at least once.
An awesome game for Baseballs fansDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Out of the Park Baseball 13
This game is a huge datebase of Baseball, It has eternal replay value because the lot of things to do and see, you have the freedom to customize every aspect of the game, you can creat a fictional league with eighty teams and make the team of your dreams. The best thing about this tittle, is the community support, you will find a lot of mods.
Of course if you are looking for a game with awesome graphics this game is not for you but if you want a depth management sports simulator this is a perfect product if you are a baseball fan.
A real twist for the franchiseDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
Operation Raccoon City doesn't feel like a Resident Evil game, it feels like a Left 4 Dead or Killing Floor, it is game designed for cooperative gameplay because the AI is terrible.
If you have enough friends to fill a squad, you will enjoy a lot playing the fourteen missions of the game, also the replay value is good because the random elements and a lot of unlockables like weapons and gadgets that you will earn with the experience points.
Basically this game is a squad shooter where you need a lot teamwork to find items, heal each other and defeat the bosses.
If you are looking for a classic Resident Evil game, this Operation Raccoon City is not for you but if you want a fun Co-op experience buy it.
A bit repetitive but fun with friendsDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Lost Planet 2
The graphics in this game are awesome, the huge boss battles will impress you, the creatures are gigantic and they are a real threat, if your PC can run the maximum specs for this game you will enjoy it a lot.
The bad thing about this game, it becomes repetitive, It is non-stop action shooting all the time and if you are playing alone the experience is very boring, It feels like an arcade game but without depth and the AI is very bad, however if you play this game with friends, the experience is better and you will have fun sessions if you do teamwork.
If you like to unlock a lot weapons and mechs and you like customize your character with them, I think you will have fun with this game but play it in coop.
The great sequelDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Sacred 2: Gold Edition DNS
I love this game, it is very addictive if you like hack and slash enemies, loot corpses and buy new weapons and items while you do missions and this game has a lot of quests between the original game and the add-on, you will need a lot hours to beat this game.
The graphics are a bit outdated but they are clean and wonderful, the animations are smooth and the character customization is impressive. Thanks to the humour of some dialogues this game has a perfect atmosphere.
The world is big and you can go anywhere, take your time to explore or do some quests.
If you heard this game had a lot of bugs, most of them are fixed now if you have the last patch installed, so your experience will be great if your game is updated.
I can say Sacred 2 is one of the best Diablo clones you can play.
Hardcore gameplayDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of The eXceed Collection
This game is for fans of the Shoot 'em up genre and his variant "Bullet Hell" where you tiny character or tiny spaceship needs to avoid the large number of projectiles that enemies will shoot at you.
This collection includes the three games of the franchise so if you are interested in the plot, you can enjoy the full story with all the characters.
For me, the first game is the weakest of the series and the second one is pure gold, the third one is still great.
The 2D graphics are good and the music is frenetic, I like a lot how the bosses has their own music themes.
Buy this game if you are a fan of this genre, you will enjoy it.
Awesome RPGDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Risen [Playfire]
This game is from the developers of the famous RPG franchise "Gothic", so if you played their games before you will like Risen.
The plot takes place in a fantasy island surrounded by storms with a lot of strange creatures and monsters, these things are very original if you compare them from other fantasy games.
This isn't a game where you level up fast and find powerful weapons easily, until you start to get some better equipment and training, each battle requires skill because you need to dodge and parry the attacks but each encounter with enemies are rewarding.
The quest system is interesting, sometimes you will need to choose decisions that can be good or evil but that isn't clear and you will find a lot of surprises at the end of the game, the main story is very interesting.
This RPG has a lot of hours of gameplay with a beautiful environment and great plot, Risen will not disappoint you.
Frank West is back!DukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Dead Rising 2: Off the Record
Finally the best hero from the franchise returns, Frank West arrives to Fortune City in this expanded version of Dead Rising 2.
The gameplay is almost the same, with new missions and places for Frank but thanks to his great humour the situations are hilarious, you have your camera back to take photos and gain experience points, this time the game includes a Sandbox mode if you enjoy kill zombies without a time limit.
This version of the game maybe is not worth it if you have the original game, it adds a lot of new content but I only recommend "Off the Record" if you are a big fan of Frank West.
A classic game from SEGA.DukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of NiGHTS into Dreams HD
Finally NiGHTS into Dreams arrives to PC!, the most famous and classic game from the Sega Saturn now with HD graphics but also you can play the original version if you want and the Christmas NiGHTS version
The soundtrack in this game is wonderful, melodies full of cheeriness that you will remember in your head for years and the magic worlds are memorable.
The gameplay is something you must play to experience how awesome is, it plays like a fly platformer racing game where you need to master all the courses and then beat the boss, the game invites you to keep coming back to beat those high-scores and thanks to the online leaderboards you can track your times and scores with your friends.
Show your support to Sega and buy this game, we need more classics.
Little DLCDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Port Royale 3: New Adventures
If you are a fan of Port Royale 3 this DLC is great if you want more maps.
It includes five new scenarios that will give you a lot of hours of challenges and fun, these scenarios are very hard so you must be an expert if you want beat all.
Also this DLC includes the Ironman mode if you really want to rule all the Caribbean, you have also a ranking system for this mode to compare it with other players.
For this cheap price if you want more "sea" in your game, the New Adventures for Port Royale 3 are fantastic
More missions and charactersDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Assassin's Creed III: The Hidden Secrets Pack
This first DLC for Assassin's Creed III includes three new missions, these missions are a bit short and they don't offer something really new if you have the extras from the Collector's edition of game, it is a disappointment if you are one of those but don't worry because the missions offer new things too, the best one is the "Ghost of War".
The new skins are nice, the Colonial Assassin outfit looks cool but I like more the new characters for the multiplayer, The Sharpshooter is my favourite
If you don't have the season pass this DLC is worth it for this price.
2D StrategyDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Swords and Soldiers
Swords and Soldiers is a game from the developers of Awesomenauts (a fantastic 2D MOBA) and they did a great job with this original game.
This time the gameplay is like a sidescrolling real time strategy game, with three factions, Vikings, Aztecs an the my favourite, the Chinese, when you choose one faction you will need to gather resources to add more soldiers to your amy, research for new powers and then attack the enemy base or sometimes you will need to survive for a certain amount of time, the objectives are different in each mission.
The cartoon style graphics are great, you will smile and laugh with some expressions from the characters.
Also if you buy Swords and Soldiers you will get a free Voltar Skin for Awesomenauts! so buy it!
The zombies are backDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Dead Rising 2
This game is the great sequel from the first Dead Rising, this time the outbreak is in Fortune City, a place similar to "Las Vegas"
The gameplay is awesome, is almost a sandbox you can use almost every item to hit the zombies, from stuffed animals to chainsaws, also you can build original weapons combining different objects, for example use your imagination with nails and a bat.
The only problem with this game is the time, you have a time limit to do the main quest and the sidequests, you can't do all in the first play but I think this add replay value to the game.
The graphics for the PC version are the best, you will see a LOT of zombies around.
Also the game has cooperative and four player multiplayer, these modes are ok but this game shines in single player.
This game from Capcom is a must have.
Amazing set of games.DukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of SEGA Megadrive Collection - Series 4
This new collection from the Sega Megadrive/Genesis brings the best game of this console for the PC, my favourite games are:
The Streets of Rage saga is great, the second game is one of the best beat 'em up games of all time, the quality in this title is top and if you have a buddy to play it the fun is endless.
The Shining Force games are amazing strategy rpg titles, Awesome fantasy plot and a gameplay with turn based battles.
Gunstar Heroes is a fun and fast paced arcade with a lot of humour thanks to the cartoon style graphics, the bosses are really neat.
The other games are really good and for this price this pack is a great deal.
A great DLCDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Borderlands 2: Creature Slaughter Dome
If you miss Moxxi's Underdome from the first Borderlands, the Creature Slaughter Dome is for you, you can fight with all the enemies of Pandora from Borderlands 2 in waves, you can gain experience and keep the loot for the main game, also you can get the glorious Moxxi's Rocket Launcher, a devasting weapon.
This DLC is worth it if you like shoot every enemy you see.
A nice set of skinsDukePaul | Dec. 17, 2012 | Review of Borderlands 2: Collectors Edition Pack
This pack includes awesome outfits and heads for the four main characters of Borderlands 2, they dont add nothing to the gameplay except for the Contraband Sky Rocket Grenade, this grenade once you throw it it gos a short distance before flying up into the air and exploding into some fire works.
I recommend grab this pack with a voucher or in a deal.
Epic platformerDukePaul | Dec. 14, 2012 | Review of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams
Giana Sisters is a special platformer, you need to switch the personality of the main character, when you do this, the happy world changes into a dark one, for example lovely plants will change into spikes, even the soundtrack is amazing because it changes too when you switch sides.
The game offers a lot of replayability because find all the hidden areas in both worlds is very difficult, also it has some puzzles and a Time Attack mode. The gameplay is a challenge but you will beat the game if you master all the levels and if you want more, you can unlock a hardcore mode.
If you want an old school platformer with modern tricks, beautiful graphics and lot of hours of fun, buy this game,
Amazing DLC!DukePaul | Dec. 11, 2012 | Review of A Game of Dwarves: Star Dwarves
Star Dwarves is fantastic! It gives you a lot of items to change the game into a Space film.
The main items are the new classes: the ranged Redshirts (inspired by Star Trek and the mele Knight (Inspired by Star Wars) also a new enemy, the beardprober that is very dangerous.
The other items are new space themed props to decorate your dungeons like computers, the Holographic Training Dummy, capsule beds and more, all this items to make a proper space home in the depths.
The price for this DLC is right and you can use a voucher to make it cheaper, if you love this game and space films, buy this!
A little DLC for this dwarves,DukePaul | Dec. 11, 2012 | Review of A Game of Dwarves: Ale Pack DLC
This DLC is not a big thing, only a few items that make your dwarves a bit happy, they will love the Mead Barrels and the ale from the tree if you extract it with a worker.
The price is very cheap, almost nothing, so if you love Game of Dwarves, the Ale Pack DLC is nice to add more content to your game.
It needs improvementDukePaul | Dec. 10, 2012 | Review of FIFA Manager 2013 (EU)
Fifa Manager 2013 is good but not enough against his major competitor, every year EA improves this franchise but if they want surpass the other famous game, they need to work harder.
The game still needs a playable 3D mode, the AI is so bad and they CPU players do almost nothing, at least the community is doing all the work with patches but this game needs more support from the developers.
Maybe the future versions of this game can get better, I only recommend to buy this if you are a fan from this franchise and you want to patch the game with a lot of new features made by fans.
The best football returns.DukePaul | Dec. 10, 2012 | Review of FIFA 13 (EU)
Fifa 13 is a great improvement from the previous games, it stills has some flaws and bugs but is the best football game for computers.
Graphically is awesome, the characters looks so realistic and the game has some new animations. In terms of gameplay, possesion the ball and passing is easy and players make better runs as well as getting into goal scoring positions, overall the game feels faster and more fluid this year, the only bad thing is the AI.
The great addition for this version are the minigames, little tests to prove your skills, they are easy to play and gives the game variety,
The career mode will keep you playing the game for hours and with the online multiplayer the fun in this game is endless.
A good preview for The HobbitDukePaul | Dec. 10, 2012 | Review of LEGO Lord of the Rings
The Lord of the rings franchise is back, with the new film "The Hobbit" and this game from the Lego franchise.
This time we will play the first three films with all the humour that Lego gives to his games, The game has about 80 characters of the books, the films or other videogames and the massive amount of unlockables will take you tons of hours to get everything.
The new Hub is amazing because is the Middle Earth, we will need to explore this land to find all the secrets. resolve puzzles and beat the bosses.
The game is very loyal to the roots of the franchise with recognisable scenes from the films and the amazing music, the difficulty is very low but this is perfect because the game gives enough variety for experienced players and the kids can play it without frustration.
Lego Lord of the Rings is one of the best games from both franchises.
Best skin of the game!DukePaul | Dec. 9, 2012 | Review of Awesomenauts - Bumble Gnaw Skin
The Bumble skin for Gnaw is awesome, it gives him a cute bee look in yellow and black colors with a big sting, but this skin also changes his ferocious plants transforming them into adorable flowers!
If you like to play with Gnaw a lot this skin is worth it, you can get this in a bundle too.
Space CombatDukePaul | Dec. 7, 2012 | Review of Stellar Impact
Stellar Impact is a nice mix between a Real Time Strategy game similar to "Homeworld" and a MOBA.
The game doesn't have a single player mode and is based on a multiplayer experience with a lot teamwork needed because of the multiple objetives you need to do, be a lone wolf in this game is not possible if you want the the victory.
The graphics are good for these intense space battles and ship to ship combat is easy and fun to play, you will need a few hours to control the maneuverability of your ship but after that the only thing you need to do is cooperate with other players and be smart in your strategies.
If you want a different multiplayer experience this game deserves a try.
Amazing concept but it needs improvementDukePaul | Dec. 7, 2012 | Review of Tiny & Big: Grandpa's Leftovers
Tiny & Big is a good platformer with fantastic art, clever puzzles and the good use of physics thanks to the laser that can cut the enviroment, this is really neat and fun to watch, the destructible stages are the best thing of this title.
This game is like a sandbox platfomer, you have freedom to resolve puzzles and sometimes the jump zones are a little awful because its easy to to die and there aren't enough checkpoints and you will have to do the same things again.
The game is short but right now is on sale and for this price if you like platform games is a nice buy.
Great map packDukePaul | Dec. 7, 2012 | Review of Fallen Enchantress Map Pack
If you find the game very easy and you want a challenge, these maps are for you, they give to the game a lot of of variety thanks to the specific objetives or the new threats, also the last map, Anthys is perfect for the sandbox mode to make big battles thanks to the size of the map, add the eight factions of the game to this map and It will become a fantastic battle.
I think the price is right but you can wait for a sale, the six maps are great and worth it the price if you want to add more content to Fallen Enchantress.
An interesting faction.DukePaul | Dec. 7, 2012 | Review of Total War: Shogun 2 - Otomo Clan Pack
Finally Total War: Shogun 2 gets a new faction, this time the Japanese Otomo clan will join forces with Porturgal, giving them a lot of firepower and new economic options to excel over the other factions.
The Otomo Clan now has the Portugese Tercos which is one of the most dangerous units in ranged combat and the Matchlock Samurai, which can combine his samurai skills with a light rifle if the enemy is too far, also for Naval Combat the DLC includes the Matchlock Kobaya, I think this ship fast but not enough powerful like others
This DLC includes great and powerful units for the game and if you want to expand Shogun 2, It is worth it.
One of the best strategy games of year.DukePaul | Dec. 7, 2012 | Review of Fallen Enchantress Pre
This game combines elements from Civilization series and from the Heroes of Might & Magic games, an original concept that will give you a lot of hours of entertainment.
The gameplay is a strategy game turn based and your tasks are: pick a faction and be their leader, build cities, research spells and technology, customize and train units, bring monsters and empires to your side.
The campaign is fantastic and if you like the story from the Elemental Universe you will enjoy it a lot the plot, great details for the fans in each mission, but the game really shines in the sandbox mode where the battles for rule the land are epic.
If you want a strategy game with a high level of customization in a fantasy universe, this game is for you.
Awesome adventureDukePaul | Dec. 7, 2012 | Review of Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller Episode 1: The Hangman
This indie game offers an amazing art style, interesting plot and some very hard puzzles, the quality is very high and it feels like an adventure game from the golden age of the genre, all of this thanks to one of the developers, Jane Jensen, creator from Gabriel Knight and Gray Matter.
The music and voice acting are great and the main character is full of surprises, I don't want to say spoilers but you will see this adventure is very original thanks to the heroine of the game and the dark and thrilling story.
Right now I hope the Episode 2 will get a release date soon because this franchise looks promising.
The best arcade from SEGADukePaul | Dec. 3, 2012 | Review of Crazy Taxi
Crazy Taxi is one of the best driving games and his concept is not about races.
You have a taxi, take customers, drive until their destinations and get the cash!, easy right?
Well no, because you need to be fast! avoiding all the vehicles in your way, taking shortcuts, above bridges or underwater, the choice is yours because if you are fast the customers will pay you more!, sometimes you will have four customers in your taxi.
Also the soundtracks are awesome, they give you adrenaline and a wild spirit that match with the game, you will play this a lot of time only to listen the great music.
For this price, Crazy Taxi is a must on your collection.
Be a Firefighter!DukePaul | Dec. 3, 2012 | Review of Real Heroes: Firefighter
Finally this original game from Wii comes to the PC, maybe the graphics are bad but the concept is original and fun.
The gameplay is in first person view and very immersive. this time your enemy is the fire, you will need fire extinguishers, axes to break doors and save civilians from the smoke. The game also has puzzles, like electrical arcs or gas jets that you need to doge.
The levels are very long and sometimes a bit repetitive because most of the objetives are the same but it offers enough variety to have fun with it.
Red Heroes: Firefighters looks outdated but no other game offers the experience to play like as real firefighter and for that you can give it a chance.
Real Arcade in your PCDukePaul | Dec. 3, 2012 | Review of Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection
Mortal Kombat: Arcade Kollection offers the original arcade experience from the first three games of the franchise and this time with great online to do fatalities against your friends.
The ports are good and the classic gameplay is intact, maybe the moves aren't smooth like other modern fighting games but they have a charm.
The best game of the pack is Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 because it has a lot characters to choose, the kombat kodes, the animalities and my favourite character: Kabal.
The bad thing about this game is you can't remap keys in the game, you need to edit a file, but I recommend play these games with gamepad, the experience is better.
If you are fan of the retro pre-rendered 3D graphics, a lot of blood and fighting games, this game is for you.
Average with low playerbase.DukePaul | Nov. 20, 2012 | Review of Ravaged: Zombie Apocalypse
This game has good things, the world is like a mix of Fallout and Rage, the vehicles are awesome and the maps designed for them are great but everything else looks pretty generic and dull, It doesn't offer anything new and this means that a small number of maps without vehicles are absolutely pointless.
Another bad thing is the population for this game is so low that you will have problems to find a game.
Maybe with a sale this game can be good again if the playerbase grows and the developers add more content to make Ravaged a different experience from other games.
Build the bridge of your dreamsDukePaul | Nov. 20, 2012 | Review of Bridge Project
This game is an original simulator, you will have to plan, construct and test bridges around the world, in terrains, like canyons, fields, cities and others.
You have the "building mode" to do it, with a grid, the interface to build a bridge is very simple and clear, also the game includes a 3D expert mode for build.
After your bridge is finished, you will have to test it, how? with various vehicles, busses, cars, trains, ships, even with tanks! also you can include earthquakes.
And if your bridge is bad, you will see the realistic physics of the game, the bridge will broke and the train will fall in the river, watch out the materials and choose wisely you can use, wood, iron, steel, hydraulics and suspension cables,
If you want to try something different, Bridge Project is fantastic.
Modern graphics and old school gameplayDukePaul | Nov. 19, 2012 | Review of Worms Reloaded
Worms Reloaded offers the classic gameplay from the previous games and 2D HD graphics that makes the game looks like a living cartoon.
The game has a good campaign mode, over 30 missions, most of them are easy and you will earn coins to unlock hats and items for your worms.
A lot of people says that the rope is bad but I find it great and you can still do awesome tricks with it even the game has a gamemode called "rope races" for this kind of things if you are a rope fanatic.
The landscapes are awesome, Hell, Ice, Western, Space, London and more and with the level editor the combinations are endless.
And for the weapons, the variety is huge, most of them are classic, like the sheep, holy hand grenade and the banana bomb but also new ones like the ferrets.
If you want a classic worms game, buy this, but if you want something new, you can try Worms Revolution, both games are great.
A great game for this franchise.DukePaul | Nov. 15, 2012 | Review of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North
Finally The Lord of the Rings gets a good rpg and the best part is the game has a cooperative campaign, three characters to choose for a big adventure.
The locations in this game are very loyal to the books and the movies and even if the plot it is only a sidestory from the original, it is great with interesting characters, the voice actors make them lovely.
The gameplay is like an Action RPG, "Hack and slash" with close combat, magic attacks and ranged weapons for kill the creatures of Mordor and the quest system is simple and it will give you a lot of loot for customizing your character.
The only bad thing is the checkpoint system, It isn't like other games where you can save and load any point of the game.
I highly recommend this game if you are a fan of the franchise, you will enjoy it.
One of the best original games from SEGA.DukePaul | Nov. 15, 2012 | Review of Jet Set Radio
This game is about two things: Doing Graffitis and skating.
The cel shaded graphics gives the game an unique look, for a twelve year old game, It looks gorgeous thanks to HD textures., All the stages and characters are like a living cartoon.
In terms of gameplay this port is smooth, maybe the camera is a bit bad but you will learn to control it properly to move around.
The game has awesome songs, if you played this game in the Dreamcast you will start to remember how good the OST is, the variety is huge.
Also you will need a bit of skill at the beginning, the cops can be annoying to avoid if you are painting the grafitis in the walls but after a short time you will be a master for earn all the achievements.
For this price, it is a must buy.
Original gameplayDukePaul | Nov. 13, 2012 | Review of Drip Drip
Drip Drip is a "multitask" game, in this games you need to be fast to complete various tasks at the same time or in a specific order and this game will point your nerves to the limit.
The concept is simple, you are the leader from a team who save people from disasters in USA, you will travel around the states saving people in houses, buildings like a hotel, etc.
Situations can be like this, there is a storm, you are in a building and you must collect water that filters through the ceilings, broken pipes and holes in the wall, but at the same time you need to maintain the floors in good condition with a hammer to avoid water damage before the structure of the building collapses or the basement floods to the limit.
The visuals of the game are fantastic and the gameplay is very intuitive by clicking around, easy to play.
Right now Drip Drip has a great price and with a lot of achievements to unlock you will play this for hours.
Awesome WardrobeDukePaul | Nov. 13, 2012 | Review of Awesomenauts - Costume Party Bundle
If you want your classic characters from Awesomenauts to have a different look, this bundle is perfect for that, the pack includes 9 skins and if you didn't unlock a character in the game, the bundle will help you with that unlocking all the characters and giving them awesome skins.
If you want to dress Yuri as an astronaut, Coco in a typical Hawaiian Dress, Lonestar as Intergalactic Officer, Voltar with an awesome Disco Outfil and more, grab this because the characters with these costumes look hilarious, you will see the game with a new perspective and your friends too!
A lot of classics for a great price.DukePaul | Nov. 13, 2012 | Review of IREM Arcade Hits
I love all the games from this company, they bring me a lot of good memories, Kung Fu Master is a total classic and a legend in the videogame history.
In this pack you have a lot of good games, an awesome Shoot 'em up like R-Typer Zero or if you like titles like Metal Slug, the Gunforce series is awesome in terms of gameplay and graphics and also try the original arcade Hammerin’ Harry, a must play from this company.
The pack includes eighteen games, most of them are really gorgeous titles that will give you a ton of hours of fun,
Be a Bridge BuilderDukePaul | Nov. 13, 2012 | Review of Bridge Project
This game is an original simulator, you will have to plan, construct and test bridges around the world, in terrains, like canyons, fields, cities and others.

Another Tower DefenseDukePaul | Nov. 12, 2012 | Review of Happy Land Defender+
This game has a cheap price because it was one of the best free webgames, now it is updated for PC and offers the same gameplay as other Tower Defense games with simple but cute graphics.
The game has a few modes, normal mode and endless mode and you only have five types of attack towers, three for support and two barriers, each one upgradable, choose wisely and add them to the ground to fight the waves of aliens.
The twenty levels are short but you have a lot of achievements, if you played all the Tower Defense games in the market, Happy Land Defender+ deserves a try,
Now the game is fixed.DukePaul | Nov. 12, 2012 | Review of Stronghold 3 Gold
Stronghold 3 had a lot of problems in his release, the game was buggy as hell but now after months of patches the game improvement is great and you can play it without any problem.
The game is like the first Stronghold, with similar interface and with updated 3D graphics to recreate the villages, castles and battles in awesome settings, also the music and voices are great.
The campaign is very hard, you will need various tries sometimes to beat a mission, I think the battles is the hardest part, a good strategy and preparation is necessary.
In Stronghold 3 you have an awesome multiplayer which is the best mode of the game, a friend is more entertainment than playing the game against the AI, 2vs2 matches are incredible.
The game is now fixed and has a great price, I highly recommend it.
Great Beat 'em upDukePaul | Nov. 12, 2012 | Review of Kung Fu Strike: The Warrior's Rise
This game recovers the classic gameplay from the Beat 'em ups of the 90s, easy controls but hard difficult.
The title offers fast combat with a lot of replayability, each level ranks you with a score and higher level abilities can be unlocked by achieving a higher score in that level, also you earn money for summon helpers in the battle.
After you beat the game, (10 hours or so) you have access to VS mode, with a friend is very fun but if you don't want fight each other, the game offers cooperative mode
It is a good option if you get the DLC also, if you are a hardcore player you will enjoy a lot the new challenges
Original conceptDukePaul | Nov. 9, 2012 | Review of Emergency 2013
This version of Emergency doesn't have big changes compared to the previous version, in fact this version has the same content from Emergency 2012 and adds a new campaign with new units and scenarios which can be quite short but the game offers a lot of content.
For the gameplay is almost the same, the controls are like a real time strategy game gure you will control doctors, paramedics, firefighters, and police to save civilians from natural disasters mostly in famous cities like London or Berlin.
For this price you get all the old content from the previous version and new missions, Emergency 2013 proves that save people is fun.
Great artistic designDukePaul | Nov. 9, 2012 | Review of Bastion [Playfire]
I love Bastion, It was one of the best indie games from 2011, for the colorful hand drawn graphics, the nice narrator telling you the story through the game and the peaceful music.
The gameplay is like an Action-RPG, you will have a lot of battles in this game and It can be difficult when you are surrounded by enemies, but The game offers various ways to defeat them like choosing, customizing and upgrading the weapons that you will find in the adventure.
Bastion can be a bit repetitive and short if you only go for the main plot but is a great game with an unique atmosphere and a story you will listen and discover to the end.
Dramatic StoryDukePaul | Nov. 8, 2012 | Review of To The Moon [Playfire]
The gameplay in this game is nothing special, it plays like an old rpg with battles turn based but there aren't many of them and it has a lot events which are minigames but the game is no about gameplay, It wants to tell you a story.
And the story is great!, wonderful and dramatic, It will make you think things around the adventure, why the characters do that, why this happens to them, it is an experience you will never forget because To the Moon is magnificient art.
I can recommend this game to all people, It is a must have for every player.
Classic AdventureDukePaul | Nov. 8, 2012 | Review of Where Angels Cry PRE
This game offers a gameplay similar to old adventure games with static screens in first person view where you need to click around to get items for your inventory and resolve puzzles in a monastery.
The intro is good but the game has crisps animations and they feel a little dated but I think is because the developers wanted to do a classic game and they did a good job with that.
If you are stuck with a puzzle the game has great hints system, It will give you a hint for the right direction to resolve the puzzle, but you can't abuse of this system.
Where Angels Cry is an enjoyable game for this price.
Best map packDukePaul | Nov. 8, 2012 | Review of Sanctum: Map Pack 2
The developers did a good job with this pack, the three maps are amazing with great artistic design and interesting level structure.
My favourite from the pack is Corporation, the lighting in this one is gorgeous and I think is the best cooperative map because of the multiple paths for enemies, you need to build a great loadout of towers with your friends if you want to beat this map.
If you like the game a lot and you need more maps, get this because is a great way to expand your game and you will have more hours of fun.
Great extra characterDukePaul | Nov. 7, 2012 | Review of Krater: Character DLC - Mayhem MK13
If you play Krater a lot, get this DLC character because is one of the best in the game.
The design is great, its like half-zombie, half-robot and his power of destruction is very high, he kills enemies so fast with the melee skills near enemies and he has a good weapon for range combat, his damage per second is big and brutal.
Also he is a great character for coop, your team will go fast if you are near him and take advantage of his abilities.
For this cheap price, Mayhem MK13 is a good choice to buy and expand your game.
Average rail FPSDukePaul | Nov. 6, 2012 | Review of Heavy Fire Afghanistan
This game has a lot flaws but it is still fun, in these kind of games your movement is locked and you only control your weapon.
The battles are intense because you need to shoot all the time, like those arcade games with lightguns, you will not have time to rest.
The cooperative is great, playing with your friends to see who is one with the best score is a nice touch.
But like I said the game has flaws, like a bit ugly graphics and cheesy voices and maybe it is a little repetitive.
Maybe if the game has a deal or a price reduction, It can be worth it.
The perfect RPG and RTS mix.DukePaul | Nov. 6, 2012 | Review of Spellforce: Complete Collection
The Spellforce series offers a unique gameplay, combining elements from RPG and real time strategy games, the games offer a huge campaign with a party of characters fighting the enemies and sometimes your task is building a great army and prepare a good defense for your village.
My favourite of the collection is Spellforce 2 and the new Stand Alone Expansion: SpellForce 2 Faith in Destiny is awesome, with a lot of content. it continues the storyline and add new units. The graphics are the same like the previous games but they look good.
The price for all the games in the series is great and you will have hundreds of hours of fun.
Epic First Person BattlesDukePaul | Nov. 6, 2012 | Review of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare PRE
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare offers an awesome gameplay, First Person Combat in intense and violent battles with a great variety of swords, lances, axes, shields, bows and more, you will need to unlock them through the rank system.
The combat system is easy to play, fluid and brutal, you have slashes, overheads and stabs can be freely controlled by the mouse to try to get around oppenents blocks
In the game there are various gamemodes like: Last Team Standing, King of the Hill, Free for all, Team Deathmatch and Team Objective. This last one is my favourite, you need to complete tasks to unlock more parts of the map to take your team to the victory
Also the graphics are amazing, combat animations are smooth, the maps have elements like rain, the lighting with torchs in the walls feels realistic and great epic music for the battles.
I think is the best online multiplayer game right now, you will play it for hours and for this price is a game you must have in your collection.
Top qualityDukePaul | Nov. 5, 2012 | Review of Football Manager 2013 Steam
SEGA is doing a good job with this franchise, every new game is better and bigger with a lot of new things, it is the best sports manager in the market without any doubt.
This time the AI of the players in the new 3D match engine is the best improvement, its like a real football match.
Also it has a Football Manager classic mode if you don't have enought time to play or the challenge mode if you are hardcore player.
If you are a fan of this sport, you will play this game for a lot hours, it has so many options that makes it an endless game.
Best Warhammer action game.DukePaul | Nov. 5, 2012 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Space Marine (THQ)
I love this game, Relic Entertainment did a good job with the Dawn of War series from Warhammer 40k, now they bring us an action game with the Space Marines as the main characters of the story.
The gameplay is not like another third person shooters where you need to cover all the time, the melee combat is important and awesome with the typical weapons from the Space Marines like swords-chainsaws, battlehammers. axes and making executions with them but also with a lot of ranged weapons like the famous bolters, killing orks is fun as ever.
The campaign takes about ten hours to beat with a lot of achievements and it has a fantastic multiplayer if you have friends to play it.
For this price, I recommend highly buy it.
Beautfiul Adventure.DukePaul | Nov. 5, 2012 | Review of Botanicula
This game is the best work from Amanita Design, with outstanding artistic design, the fantastic soundtracks and the heartwarming plot, you will love everything about this game.
Botanicula is a short game but the experience is unique, in point & click adventure games you have a lot dialogues to read but here you will follow the story without any text and helping five different characters to finish this wonderful adventure with a nature setting.
The graphics and animations are awesome, I think I never saw a 2D game like this before, it is a game full of visual surprises.
Also this game is perfect for everyone, all ages can enjoy Botanicula.
Terror in Hong KongDukePaul | Nov. 2, 2012 | Review of Sleeping Dogs: Nightmare in North Point
I love Horror Theme DLCs, and this one is amazing, original and fun.
In this DLC you will find zombies but not typical zombies, they are like chinese vampires and that means they are fast as hell, also don't let them grab you!
The story has humour, you need to rescue your girlfriend like and old terror movie and battle against these zombies through the city. Also the DLC includes new costumes and vehicles if you do sidequests, they look great.
In terms of gameplay the DLC is only brawling against every enemy in the streets which maybe be a little repetitive but fun.
Average with good features.DukePaul | Nov. 2, 2012 | Review of Starvoid
Maybe this game can't compete with other big games but with this cheap price it's a really great deal.
The game is deep but its designed for people who can't dedicate a lot of time in a RTS match, if you are a casual player in these games you will love it because you don't need know all the commands and be super fast to win.
It's easy learn to play, with the matchmaking system you will find players with similar rank or level and you will know all the rules and strategies with nobody pushing you, even if you are losing a match, you can leave without a penalty
Also the graphics and the art style are great, for this price the game is worth it.
The Multiplayer is awesome.DukePaul | Nov. 2, 2012 | Review of Mount and Blade Collection
My favourite from this pack is Warband, If you want to experience massive battles you need to play this game, the multiplayer has mods that allow 200 players in one match, no other game offers that.
The sieges are incredibly fun, buy your weapons and stay near your companions because you will need help, the combat in this game needs a lot cooperation if you don't want to be killed.
You can choose close to close combat with swords, axes, lances, range combat with bows and crossbows and the most difficult class, a rider with a horse but if you dominate this class you will rule in the battles.
The game has a big playerbase so don't worry, you will find people in multiplayer easily, also even I only talked about the multiplayer, the single player is also awesome, it is like a simulator, build your army, do quests and be the king of all lands.
A great multiplayer DLCDukePaul | Nov. 2, 2012 | Review of Max Payne 3: Hostage Negotiation Pack
If you like a lot the multiplayer of this game, grab this DLC, the new maps are very well done, they look great, original and have a great level design, Favela Heights is the best one for me, Rockstar did a good job with the maps, also the new weapons are neat but they are balanced, so don't worry, they are not overpowered.
The Bomb Suit is my favourite because people abuse explosive weapons in this game and with that you can protect yourself.
Also it's not very expensive, four maps and a bunch of items with a lot of hours of fun.
The War from a different perspective.DukePaul | Nov. 2, 2012 | Review of Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 [Playfire]
This game based in the World War II has elements from the movie "Saving Private Ryan", it has a story that focus more in the characters and their relations that adds drama, also it is more realistic than other FPS because you aren't a supersoldier.
The game is a little old and the graphics maybe are outdated but they don't look bad and the sound is outstanding, with a lot of explosions everywhere that makes you feel a real war.
This game is hard, you will die a lot but the game it's not impossible, even I recommend to play it in "very hard" to maximise the immersion, you will need to do tactical stuff if you want win.
If you want a different World War II game, pick this game.
Finally the best basketball game on PC.DukePaul | Nov. 1, 2012 | Review of NBA 2K13 dns
After a long of wait, 2K games bring us one of the best sports game ever made, and this time on PC.
The graphics are amazing, the players look like their real counterparts and the stadiums are so well made with the 3 commentators, the people in the background, the sounds, all feels like a real basketball match.
The controls are easy, responsive and accurate, you will learn how to play properly in a few minutes.
The new thing is the signature skills, there are like 50 of them and players can possess multiple and the skills have varying ways to effect gameplay for example you can add an energy boos to the entire team.
At the moment this is the best basketball game, buy it.
Modern shoot'em up action.DukePaul | Oct. 31, 2012 | Review of Sine Mora
Finally this game is coming to PC, I played on consoles and I can say this shoot'em up it's totally a blast if you like the genre.
The graphics are wonderful, they don't feel dated like others shoot'em ups, the bosses are big and they look like a real threat, the only bad thing is there are a lot of cutscenes but only for the Story mode that feels like a tutorial, the real core of the game is the Arcade Mode and the Score Attack, in this modes is when the real game begins.
The game also offers a lot of unlockables like ships and weapons, you can buy upgrades like slowing time or invincible shields for your ship.
Grab this title when you can, because if you like this kind of games you will love it.
Great JRPGDukePaul | Oct. 31, 2012 | Review of Laxius Force
Laxius Force is like those console rpgs from the 16-bit era, with 2D colorful graphics and only text dialogues, a group of young people will save their world and a combat system based in turns.
This is the first game of the trilogy and the story is very interesting but also you have a lot of sidequests if you want to take a break from the main plot, I believe there are almost 100 quests or more so this will give you a lot of hours of fun, even the game has secrets that you will not discover in your first run.
If you want a game with memorable characters and a great story like the old Final Fantasy games, get this.
An awesome evolution of Dwarf fortress.DukePaul | Oct. 30, 2012 | Review of A Game of Dwarves
If you played Dwarf Fortress, this game is the same but with better graphics, the 3D gives the game a new dimension.
The game is like a city building management sim focused in the depths, the home of these Dwarves.
You will have to dig, collect gold and build structures and of course, fight, there are various job classes that your dwarves can be assigned like workers to harvest food, builders to craft furniture, and scholars to research new technologies and the fighters will learn their skills on practice dummies but you need to build them first, becase you need to have strong fighters against orcs, goblins and more.
I highly recommend this game.
Best Space SimulatorDukePaul | Oct. 30, 2012 | Review of EVE Online - 60 Day Time Card
This game has a high learning curve, you can win a lot of money and be the "king" of the universe and lose your fortune in seconds, but the good thing is that you can be the one who steals all that money and power, you cam choose your own path.
This MMO was made almost a decade ago, and is still active because offers a unique experience that other games can't offer and because all the support from the developers is amazing.
The graphics even if they are old they look nice and the art design is awesome. I loved the character customization and the variety of ships and roles.
This game was buggy years ago but now is fantastic, the gameplay if you have patience to complete some boring missions at the beginning you will have a blast later with this game and all the content it offers.
In 60 days you will have an awesome experience.
A new map and great DLC for Magicka.DukePaul | Oct. 29, 2012 | Review of Magicka: Grimnir's Laboratory
I love how the developers are still creating content for this game, this time it is only a small map for the challenge mode, but this one looks really great and the gameplay in this map is very fun because the Altars limit you the elements of Magicks you can cast, I think it is hard in the first waves but you will learn to play this map properly.
Also if you have friends this map is perfect for cooperative gameplay, but watch out with the friendly fire or you will kill your buddies, this map has narrow spaces and the enemies come in very big waves.
If you are a fan of the series, buy it.DukePaul | Oct. 29, 2012 | Review of King's Bounty: Warriors of the North
Finally the King's Bounty franchise gets another game after a long time, with a few new features but loyal to his gameplay roots.
The game is an strategy turn based combat rpg like the previous games, its more like a stand alone expansion than a full game but it has a lot content with a lot of hours of gameplay.
This time you control Olaf in a Viking/Nordic setting, this differs a bit from the other games but it is still a fantastic fantasy world, also I like a lot the new pets, the Valkyries.
The game feels a bit old because of the graphics, I hope with a new sequel they can change the graphic engine but for now this game looks nice.
Also even if it is the fourth game on the series, you don't need to play the previous games, each has his own story.
If you are hungry for more King's Bounty, get this game.
Best Warhammer game.DukePaul | Oct. 29, 2012 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War II: Retribution THQ
Dawn of War II: Retribution is my favourite game of the franchises because offers a lot of content.
The campaign offers six playable races, Space Marines, Tyranids, Orks, Eldar, Chaos and the Empire. The good thing about the campaign is the coop mode, you can join with a friend and share your troops and items, each player will control their units. The bad thing is most of the missions are the same for every faction, but it is still fun.
The Last Stand mode is the best mode I think, you have 6 characters (7 if you buy the Tau Commander DLC which is awesome) and you have to fight with two friends against waves of enemies, this game mode has a lot of replay value because you level up and get items that change your character totally, every match can be different.
But the core of the game is the multiplayer mode, 6 players can be part of it, with teams or free for all, the squads, cover system and capture points of control offers a different perspective from other strategy games.
At the moment this is the last game of the Dawn of War franchise and the best.
Awesome MOBA!DukePaul | Oct. 24, 2012 | Review of Awesomenauts
Awesomenauts brings the fast action of the MOBA games with 2D gameplay.
The gameplay is like a 2D platform game but with MOBA elements, the art is cartoonish and fun with six characters, three unlocked at the beginning of the game.
Every character is different, you will need to play a lot of hours if you want dominate them properly also the game is very balanced, one character can be powerful but very slow, making a good team is decisive so talk to your friends and think a clever squad!
In the game instead of buying items like other games, you buy upgrades which are really original and deep.
The bad things: only three stages and the bots are a bit dumb but is a game designed to play with friends and with online multiplayer the game will give a lot hours of fun.
If you are a MOBA fan and want something different, buy this game.
A lot of content thanks to users.DukePaul | Oct. 22, 2012 | Review of Killing Floor
The best thing of Killing Floor is the content made by the users, with a lot of custom maps that you can download ingame for free, you can find things like the mansion from Residetn Evil or a Super Mario Bros Level, it is really fun kill these zombies/infected in original enviroments.
Also the game has a great cooperative mode for 6 players so if you have a bunch of friends it is the best choice to play.
The gameplay is very simple, waves of monsters, kill them and between waves you have free time to go to the shop and buy new weapons and ammo, after the last wave a boss appears which is very difficult.
Maybe you are thinking this gameplay can be repetitive but it is not because of the class system and perks, you can level up your class to get more perks like more damage from guns, more health, faster movement etc, it takes a lot of hours but it gives the game replay value.
If you are looking for a game based on survival mode, (waves of enemies) buy this.
Greatest Sonic on 2D.DukePaul | Oct. 22, 2012 | Review of Sonic CD
After years of waiting finally we have Sonic CD on PC.
This version of the game was made by a fan and published by Sega, and they make the best version of the game, this port has features like possibility to choose between the original japanese soundtrack or the american one, I like both so it is nice to have both in only game.
The game is one of the best platform games ever made, with fast paced gameplay, good desing of levels with variants like past, future and bad future because of the time travels, you will need to play a lot if you want discover all the secrets on this game, also it has various endings,
For this cheap price it is an absolute buy.
Awesome coop and combat system.DukePaul | Oct. 22, 2012 | Review of Magicka
If you need a coop game, buy this game, the 4 players coop is one of most funniest experiences I played.
The secret is the combat system, using eight keys for each elemental attack like fire, water, earth, heal, etc, you can cast a lot of "magicks" and combine them, for example to create a shield made of rocks or fire, but you can also cast a powerful beam and another player cast other and you cross the beams making it more powerful, but watch out where you aim that beam because friendly fire is on in this game and you can kill your friends.
The game itself is a little adventure with a lot humour, making jokes about pop culture and internet memes, it has a lot of items with different stats and so many achievements to play hours and hours.
The DLC is also nice, it gives the game more variety with more robes and items for your characters.
It had potentialDukePaul | Oct. 19, 2012 | Review of Anna
I think this game could have been a greater game with more resources, because it has a lot of elements to make a great adventure but it feels like a game that needs more development for example Anna looks good but the rest of the graphics look a bit ugly.
The puzzles some are good but other are very confusing, sometimes I do not have a clue of what to do and others are very easy.
Also the game has a lot of scary moments but after you see a lot of them you feel nothing because you know they are not a real threat in the game.
But afterall I can recommend this game, it is ok.
A great sequel.DukePaul | Oct. 19, 2012 | Review of BioShock® 2 DNS
Bioshock 2 reuses a lot of things and aspects from the first Bioshock but it has his own personality.
The new main character is very original, this time you are a Big Daddy and the story takes place eight years later from the original game, so same scenario but different story and new characters.
The gameplay like the previous one is like FPS adventure, you will have to explore a lot and in a game that has a creepy atmosphere it will give you some spooky moments, Rapture is still one of the best environments ever created in a videogame.
The weapons are really cool, I like a lot the drill, it feels that you are a terrible killing machine that can defeat everything, also the supernatural powers are still here and they are still fun.
The graphics are great too, the Unreal Engine 3 still shines on these days.
If you liked the first one, you will like this too and the wait for Bioshock Infinite will be shorter!
It is Borderlands but ten times better!DukePaul | Oct. 18, 2012 | Review of Borderlands 2 DNS
Borderlands 2 is a real evolution of the first game, the new characters and skills feel more badass than ever, for example the Axton's turret is a real killing machine that kills enemies in seconds.
Also the games keeps all the fantastics aspects like thousands of loot: weapons, money, shields, a lot of items that you will never see a weapon like other and the number of enemies and variety is bigger too.
The graphics with Nvidia card and Physx makes the game look better with all the effects like poison fluids on the enemies.
For me is the best Action/RPG/Shooter on years, with cooperative up four players, story filled with humour and about 30 hours of gameplay you can not miss this game.
Best Real Time Strategy game.DukePaul | Oct. 18, 2012 | Review of Total War: Shogun 2
Total War: Shogun 2 is my first experience with the Total War series and I can say it is my favourite strategy game now, I like a lot the Feudal Japan culture and this game recreates it perfectly, the graphics are top with thousands of samurais and warriors in the battles making incredible sieges, I never see a strategy game that you control so many units.
The game has an awesome tutorial to learn the basic and advanced moves, I learned a lot and thanks to that I can play online without being totally destroyed by other players.
I love the campaign but it takes a lot of time because you have so many options and choices to decide before battles, and the battles are very hard but the good thing of the campaign it has Co-op and you can share your strategy thoughts with a friend.
I recommend highly Shogun 2.
Finally on PC.DukePaul | Oct. 17, 2012 | Review of Viking: Battle for Asgard
I played this game on consoles and it was a blast, the gameplay offers a lot of variety, with huge battles of thousands of warriors with an awesome combat system that you can do great combos, but the most gorgeous thing is see the dragons in the battlefield, they make the epic battles.
Later, you do stealth missions where you need to hide from enemies , some of these missions are hard but you can beat them with patience.
The game is very long, if you want all the achievements the title is 40 hours long, it has three big islands and the game almost does not have loading screens!
For this price is a game that you need to play, It is the best game of the Nordic mythology.
A great mix of FPS and Tower Defense.DukePaul | Oct. 17, 2012 | Review of Sanctum
I think is the one of best Tower Defense I played because of the originality, you can control a character and play like a FPS but also it is important to build a good maze.
You can build a maze made of towers and each towers has different uses, one can be a machine gun, other beams, antiairs, etc and upgrade with credits killing enemies to make them powerful, also of course you need to be on the top of this maze to kill the enemies.
Also you character has weapons, pistol, shotgun, sniper, freeze gun, I love how the developers update the game with new weapons are maps and some for free.
Also this game has COOP up to 4 players, the strategy with 4 players is great and you will need to think a lot to beat the levels.
The graphics are really nice, I love how the stages look so futuristic and clean.
Best "jump & run" on PCDukePaul | Oct. 17, 2012 | Review of Sonic Generations
Im a Sonic fan I can say this one of the best Sonic games ever made.
The gameplay offers two perspectives, for the classic Sonic is always a 2D platformer like the old Sega Genesis/Megadrive games, also it includes skills like a skateboard that you can buy in the shop. The Modern Sonic mostly is 3D platformer but sometimes the level has 2D parts so it is a great mix and the best of both universes.
The game has nine levels with 2 acts each (one for each Sonic) that travels of stages on the History of the saga, this levels are in a World Hub with 2D gameplay, apart from the levels you have challenges like races, collect rings that unlock soundtracks from the previous games that you can switch in the levels, artworks and skills.
I think this is the best Sonic in years because Sega finally found a way to make the gameplay on 3D great.
The perfect Hitman.DukePaul | Oct. 17, 2012 | Review of Hitman: Blood Money [Playfire]
Blood Money is the best experience in the Hitman series, the gameplay feels very polished and not clunky like the previous games.
The levels are like mini sandboxes, you can do what you want in them to kill the objectives, you can choose to be a silent assassin without witnesses and kills must be like accidents or you can get your weapon and shoot everybody like an action movie.
I prefer the stealth way and see the enemies saying "what the hell happened here?" it is very fun and also the rewards for that are better.
The game is a little old but the graphics still looking good also for the sound I like a lot the main theme.
If you are looking for a prelude of Hitman: Absolotion, buy this game.
Action RPG with zombiesDukePaul | Oct. 17, 2012 | Review of Dead Island
The openworld from this game is huge and amazing, the island is divided in the beach, docks, city, sewers, jungle and more, this stages are loaded with a lot of NPCs, they give you quests, sometimes they need supplies and of course kill zombies, in this game is fun as hell.
You will find a lot of weapons in the island, bats, blades, axes, hammers and you can custom them, for example you can make a bat with spikes and kill zombies with that is really amazing because the combat system is very good, you can chop the limbs of the zombies even sometimes splash their heads with your feet!
The game has 4 characters with different skills, one of them is a expert on blades, other in blunt weapons for example and that makes the multiplayer very good, it offers variety.
The graphics are really good, I love when it rains but I hate a bit the Field of View, it makes the weapons really close to the camera.
If you are looking a cooperative RPG and you like the zombie universe, you need this game.
A great recreation of the AvP universe.DukePaul | Oct. 17, 2012 | Review of Aliens vs Predator Pre
Aliens Vs Predator is the third on the series and is made by the creators of the original game and I think they really did a good job.
The campaign for the three characters is great, my favourite is the marine campaign because you feel weak and it is like a survival horror game trying to avoid all the creatures, it is like old Alien movies.
Also the other two campaings I enjoyed them a lot for the kill animations of the Predator and Alien, they are awesome to see them in first person, the weapons of the Predator and the agility and mobility of the Alien make the campaign a unique experience that you can not play in other FPS, and it is like seven or eight hours of gameplay.
The multiplayer is not very active right now but if you have friends it is very fun and it has a coop mode where you fight with against enemies in waves.
For the graphics, they are very good at max settings, the creatures look awesome and loyal to the lore of the series.
If you have a friend, buy this game!DukePaul | Oct. 16, 2012 | Review of Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light
This game is one of the best games of Square Enix/Eidos on this generation, they gave a change to the Tomb Raider series with isometric view and coop and I can say it was a good choice.
The coop in this game is awesome, it needs two players but it is not only shooting together all monsters you see, you need to cooperate to solve puzzles because the two characters are very different and they have exclusive weapons/items or moves, Lara can use her hook and Totec who is a Mayan warrior that has a shield to cover the other player and him from projectiles.
The game also offers exploration, you will need to get a lot of items if you want to complete all the achievements!
It is game that Im waiting a sequel because is great.
Great Third Person Shooter.DukePaul | Oct. 16, 2012 | Review of Binary Domain
I like a lot this game because of this four facts:
1.Enemies are robots and that means a lot of destruction, they blow up in different parts if you shoot them in the legs or arms, but also the bosses, they are Huge, it is an amazing experience to see them.
2.Voice command, you are the leader of a team and you can command them different actions with the voice, so if you have a mic is very immersive but if you do not have one you can use the keyboard.
The story!, I love these characters, sometimes they are cheesy but you need to have a good relation with them and select the correct answers and get different endings for it, this bring a lot of replay value,
The gameplay, is like another TPS like Gears of War but here you can upgrade your weapons and make them powerful.
For me it is a great title from Sega that it needs to be played at least once.
The horror is back.DukePaul | Oct. 16, 2012 | Review of Doom 3 BFG Edition (EU)
I remember when I played Doom 3 for the first time, It was different from the first Doom games but it was a better experience, this time the horror is the main protagonist and you need your flashlight and gun to run from this hell.
But if you played this game before, you remember that you will need to switch between the flashlight and the weapon making the gameplay a little tedious, but no this time! in the BFG edition you can carry the flashlight and the weapon at the same time! and that is a great improvement.
Also I love this game for the weapons, specially the shotgun, they feel very strong and fun to use them, you have to try them and you will see.
The enemies are very original and creepy, It was the first time in a FPS that I had fear from them.
Also the story it is not a big deal but well this game is all about kill monsters like a classic FPS and it is a experience you will need to test.
Mechromancher rocks!DukePaul | Oct. 16, 2012 | Review of Borderlands 2: Mechromancer Pack Steam
This extra character for Borderlands 2 is a great addition to the game, this character summons a robot that can fight for you for a limited time, then you have to wait a bit until the next summon.
If you level up the abilities of the Mechromancer, the robot can recharge your shields making you a tank in the battlefield.
And the abilities of the Mechromancer are a little weird, you can gain fast reload but less clip size or more damage but less accuracy its like a class that needs balance in her gameplay but it is still fun to use and it is worth it for the normal price.
A little RPGDukePaul | Oct. 16, 2012 | Review of Beyond Divinity
This game is like the old RPGs, with fast gameplay to kill enemies, freedom on the big map and a lot of quests that makes this a tittle with a lot of hours of gameplay,The graphics of course are old but that is not a problem, they look fine and the sound is very good with a lot of voices ingame.
In the game you can find summoning dolls that will be added of your party and each of this dolls have custom stats and abilities, this add strategy to the battles.
If you liked the previous game Divine Divinity you will like this one too.
Average but funDukePaul | Oct. 15, 2012 | Review of Age of Fear: The Undead King
This game maybe is not best strategy title of the world and it does not have flashy graphics but developers focused a lot in the content of the game and it feels polished.
You start the game with a very small army and it is bored at first, but when you army grows and you get more and more units, the fun begins!
The game has three races, humans, orcs and undead, I prefer the undead because the other two I already saw them in a lot of games.
The campaign is good, it feels very well made and it has balance, you will never stuck in it, also it has skirmish mode for more freedom in your battles.
A little pinball that gives you fun!DukePaul | Oct. 15, 2012 | Review of Sonic Generations - Casino Nights Pinball DLC
It's a pinball minigame, you can choose Classic Sonic or Modern Sonic as balls and choose the soundtrack of the pinball level (if you unlocked them in the main game)
When you are tired of run & jump, this pinball is good to take a rest, only you need is your flippers and luck, sometimes you enter in a special zone where the camera changes and you need to do some jumps for a score bonus, also of course you can shake the pinball to change the direction of the ball.
Its very cheap and worth it this DLC and a gift for Sonic Fans.
Awesome Graphics and moreDukePaul | Oct. 15, 2012 | Review of Metro 2033 PRE
I tested this game on my new computer and I can say this game at Max settings is impressive and with the enviroments of the game makes an atmosphere than can give you a unique experience, the underground is a very creepy place with their tunnels and subway stations and the NPC looks like real.
In terms of gameplay, its a FPS/adventure with stealth moments and survival moments, you will need kill the enemies with knifes sometimes or change your gas maks filter but this is a hard game and find these items is rare so do not waste them
For the plot, its 10/10, the main characters of the story will make you to beat the game to see this great script.
At the moment, I cant wait for the sequel: Metro Last Light
Coop is worth it.DukePaul | Oct. 15, 2012 | Review of F.E.A.R. 3
This game is a stepback in the franchise, the horror atmosphere is lower than the previous games but that does not matter if you have a buddy to play the campaign coop.
The coop is interesting. because the two characters (both from the first game of the franchise) are very different and when you beat the game, you can beat it again but choosing the other character and that makes an awesome experience for two players and also it gives to the game more hours of replay value.
The PointMan character is like the previous games (also your favourite weapons from the previous games are here) he special feature is slow time so if you played before you will not have problems with to play this character. The Paxton Fettel character is very original, he does not carry weapons, but he has powers like levitate enemies or hijack their bodies!, its not like other FPS and the experience for play that is worth it.
Maybe this can be the weakest game of the F.E.A.R. series but that does not mean that is a bad game.
A great Japanese RPGDukePaul | Oct. 15, 2012 | Review of The Last Remnant Overflow
In PC we do not get so many game like this, so this title can be probably a gem.
It's not your typical JRPG where you command a small party, in this game you have a big team of characters and this takes to awesome battles that generates an amazing visual show for the eyes, maybe this sometimes can be chaotic but you will learn fast how to control this large battles.
Like a lot JRPGs, this game is LONG, you will need a lot of hours to complete it so it's even worth it for the full price.
The story? well it's epic and I like some characters, I can say it's interesting, this game is all about his great gameplay.
Very Solid Worms game.DukePaul | Oct. 12, 2012 | Review of Worms: Revolution
After 10 hours played, I can say its very worth it.
First, the single player is very fun wih the voice of Matt Perry introducing you into the missions, I smile with his jokes.
The single player has two modes, Campaign which are a series of deathmatches and Puzzle mode, where you need to use your brain to kill the worms (and some missions are really hard), this bring a lot of gameplay hours for only player.
But in a Worms game the core is the multiplayer and in this game is fun like all worms games but I love the new features like the dynamic water, I love make water traps (because this game has an awesome level editor) on my custom maps and I love the water weapons too, Water Strike from the Sky is awesome.
Also the classes are very important too, for example the Scientist gives you +5 health every turn, this saved me a lot of times and makes my team stronger,
The thing I did not like is the rope, its feels a bit useless but well at least Jetpack still works!
Also the graphics, well the animations on the worms look great but you need to zoom a lot for watch them.
In the end, its a very good game and a next step in the franchise.
Evolution of the Stealth games.DukePaul | Oct. 12, 2012 | Review of Dishonored (EU)
I tested this game on my friend's house and I can say its an amazing experience, one of the best stealth games since Deus Ex Human Revolution.
The story is not a big thing but it has a great atmosphere with memorable characters and a lot of freedom in the gameplay with variety in the missions, in fact is a sandbox game, you can complete the game in a lot of ways.
Also the powers are very original, you can send enemies flying, a teleport or slow time and this can be upgraded for example slow time at max level its "stop time"
Its the sleeper game of the year, you need to buy as soon you can
