The way a western shooter game has to be

EDUSAN | Nov. 24, 2013 | Review of Call of Juarez Gunslinger NA - PC

This game is so refreshing! Even though its not more than just mindless shooting, it is super fun! The story is well shown, with some funny details here and there that i wont say to spoil, not in the story per se, but in the way the game tells it. The levels are well done and take you to a complete set of different locations, from a mine and a tipical western town to a graveyard. The gameplay its basic, move and kill but it adds a couple mechanics that make the game very hollywood western style, like the possibility of dodging in a very matrix way a bullet that would otherwise kill you, the adrenaline boost that makes the world slow so you can do an impressive killing spree, the duels and the quicktime sequences. It also has an arcade mode that will make you play some more hours after the story mode ends (which is kinda short, 6-7hs long)

Feel like an Adeptus Astartes

EDUSAN | Nov. 21, 2013 | Review of Warhammer 40000 Space Marine SEGA - PC

If there is something that this game makes right, is to make you feel like a war machine, a Space Marine. Even though the game story is bland (but very much what you should expect from a Warhammer 40k story) and the game gets repetitive after some time, this game succeded in making you feel POWERFUL. The weapons look devastating and sound capable of doing the Massacre that will be left after your character passes by. The game brutality fits Warhammer like a glove and the combat feels satisfying. Killing Orks has never been so fun! The graphics are not astonishing but they are quite good, and the requisites to be able to play it decently are low
