Huge Dlc Worth Every PennyELELITHETERRIBL | Dec. 14, 2013 | Review of Crusader Kings II The Old Gods - PC
The Old Gods dlc to Crusader Kings 2 is one of the best expansions i have ever seen the amount of content it adds is beyond your wildest dreams for example it sets the starting date of the game about 300 years back (to the year 867 ac) but the biggest changes are the changes of the pagan religions (like norse , tengri and so on) which are really fun to play as. The extra 300 years can make your game a lot longer and in my opinion it makes the game more fun. In addition there are more countries to play as in 867 because they were not yet conquered by the stronger ones or united with them to form kingdoms and empires. Also as a pagan lord u now have more special choices which are exclusive to pagans like holding Great Blots which are basically big parties for your vassals where you execute prisoners, for each prisoner you will gain some prestige and piety and will make your vassals like you better. To sum up this is a great expansion and its worth every penny.
A Great Grand Strategy gameELELITHETERRIBL | Dec. 14, 2013 | Review of Crusader Kings II - PC
Crusader Kings 2 is one of the best grand strategy games i have ever played (not that there are too many of those but still). Crusader Kings as opposed to the other games from paradox focuses on diplomacy and relations between people, when in other games it doesn't matter who leads your state in crusader kings u don't play as a country you play as a dynasty when you die your son takes control and than hes son and so on. If you decide to pick up the game you should also pick up The Old Gods dlc which takes the starting date 300 years back and adds a lot of other really good things to the game. The new Sons of Abraham dlc is also very good but its not as important as The Old Gods dlc. Over all the game is great and you should definitely try it
Men Of War Is Almost PerfectELELITHETERRIBL | Nov. 5, 2013 | Review of Men of War Steam - PC
Men Of War is one of the very best games i have ever, played. The game itself is an rts but what is so special about it is you can take control over one of your men on play with him like in a twin stick shooter, there is a big variety of missions, every mission is like a puzzle u need to chose what section of the enemy line u take out first, who to use,and how to do it for example if you need to take out an enemy line u can send in your sniper and pick them one by one or u can charge on it from two sides at ones. all of the 3 campaigns have stories to them, each campaigns has 5 missions except the Russian campaign which has 9. I think every rts fan will enjoy this game like i did and be glad he bought it.
