The NBA 2K series are obviously the best basketball games out there, but I would dare say they are quite possibly the best sports games period, now that opinion may be biased due to my great love of basketball, but nevertheless NBA 2K13 is simply brilliant. The different game modes offer quite a bit of content, but what really stands out to me is the My Career mode which sees you create a player and go through the draft and play out the career of the player. You will really want to play it with a gamepad though as the mouse and keyboard controls are horrid as they are with most sport games, not due to any fault of the developers but simply because of the inherent difficulties in designing a control scheme for a PC sport game. Those issues hardly matter though as it is a great game that I've stayed hooked on for hours at a time.
BrillianceEleiy | July 2, 2013 | Review of Borderlands 2 Overflow 1 - PC
A perfect marriage of genres, the Borderlands franchise combines the obsessive looting of action RPGs with the mechanics of a shooter, delivering an experience which can keep you engaged for hours at a time. Borderlands 2 takes everything the first one did and kicks it up a notch with more guns, more classes and of course our favourite little robot CL4P-TP returns in full force with plenty of humour. All in all Borderlands 2 is an improvement over the first one, which is saying quite a bit considering what an amazing game that was. With plenty of content and even more downloadable content to explore, Borderlands 2 is certainly worth every penny.
