Mount and Blade LiteFiggots | Sept. 13, 2012 | Review of War of the Roses: Digital Deluxe Edition
This game is developed by and is very similar to the team who made the Mount and Blade series. It's sort of like the Call of Duty of Mount and Blade, but not in a bad way. It's a lot easier to get into, you have unlocks where you can get new weapons and armor and even skills such as dashing or shield blows. It's very enjoyable and has a fairly steep skill cap.
If you enjoy mount and blade but don't want the incredibly steep skill curve, you'll truly enjoy this game. The price may be a little high, but it's well worth the hours you'll get of enjoyment.
Mindless EntertainmentFiggots | Sept. 13, 2012 | Review of Warhammer 40000: Space Marine (THQ)
This game is for those who just want to get straight into the action and start killing anything and everything in site. It has a very shallow skill slope and is fairly easy on the default setting, but it's oh so satisfying. The graphics are simply incredible and can be slightly tweaked to your own likings, but that's the low point. There isn't much that you can change, but it's just enough to get you what you want.
Once you've gained every weapon, though, it starts to slow down a bit I felt. There's not much left to gain from killing, so you'll have to just enjoy the mindless entertainment.
A Gem in the RoughFiggots | Sept. 12, 2012 | Review of The Last Remnant Overflow
When I first had seen this game I figured hey, why not? It's a Square Enix game and looks similar to Final Fantasy.
The first thing I notice is the amazing graphics. They're lush, vibrant, and crisp. The first cinematic already sets a precadence for an incredible and epic game. It's not your typical game, though. It's a turn based strategy game based on squads.
If you're looking for an epic storyline wrapped in a neat strategy game, look no further!
