I'm not really that much of a fan of the point and click type games, but I am a man of challenging puzzles that push you to your limits of critical thinking.
Live in a world of fear as you unravel the mysteries of this secret underground bunker of human experimenting and put the links together to unlock the path to the next area. Make sure you pay attention to every detail and read all of the memos.
The game definitely provides a creative and unique environment to solve some difficult puzzles where you have to backtrack to previous rooms and pick up things that you didn't notice the first time. What this game lacks is a definitive ending. I felt the flow of the game decreased after making it to the dark basement. From this point, the game became too easy and clear as if it was a rushed job to finish the game and lacked in creativity with the beginning of the game.. I left myself with more questions at the end than all the places I ended up getting stuck. I was also disappointed in some of the choices of direction. For instance, instead of smashing down the brick wall that taunted you from the moment you clicked on it, you end up smashing down some other random wall.
A fun fast-paced game involving monkeys with guns!Grimagin | Dec. 17, 2014 | Review of Gun Monkeys
What more can you ask for? The thrilling hunt of one future monkey trying to kill a monkey from an opposing company in the obtaining of a powerful energy source provided by your ancestors. This game is fun, humorous, and each game only lasts between 5 and 10 minutes, so you can get a lot of games in. After playing a match you are awarded with cash that you can spend to unlock and use up to 4 perks at a time. This allows for each new opponent to bring on new strategies and challenges. This 1v1 arena is enough to get you to say, "where did all the time fly?"
The only downside is that this game is strictly multiplier and it has gone down the wayside meaning that if you want to play, make sure that you know some friends who are going to want to head off against you.
So what are you waiting for? Go grab a bunch of your monkey friends to this game so that you can triumph on the throne after you've spent hours blowing them up!
Great challenge, gameplay, and music.Grimagin | Aug. 6, 2013 | Review of Sanctum
If you're like me and love a challenge while playing a kickass tower defense game, then you've found yourself a winner. Not only does this game provide you with the ability to strategically place and upgrade towers, it also lets you be apart of the action by entering the field as a first person shooter. There are plenty of fun levels to master with music that never gets boring.
Having so much fun that you've beat all the levels? Not to worry, there are a couple of map packs that let you continue the slaughtering of aliens! If that isn't enough, grab some of your friends and join together, up to four players, to help defend the core!
