Overall Fun, Pretty Realistic Racing GameHellOnWheels357 | May 30, 2013 | Review of DiRT 3
I had a lot of fun with this game. I really appreciated the fact that the driving wasn't arcade, it took some skill to keep your car on the track, but not to the point where it was annoying. If you wanted to you could configure the settings to make it easier, and if you crashed you could rewind and try again.
There's plenty of different racing types to keep things fresh and exciting, and quite a few vehicles to choose from. A lot of people felt forced into the Gymkhana, but again adjusting the settings make it much easier, and enjoyable.
Overall great racing simulator.
Awesome Stealth Game With Great ReplayabilityHellOnWheels357 | May 30, 2013 | Review of Dishonored
I didn't know what to think about this game at first, but the stealth drew me in. And I am SO glad it did.
This is a true play-your-way style game. If you want to be a ghost, silently stalking your prey eliminating them one by one, without ever being seen. You can. If you want to go Rambo on everyone and destroy them in a blaze of bullets, arrows, and sword strikes. You can do that too, and everything in-between.
The supernatural abilities are just an added bonus. Being able to blink across buildings, call in a swarm of rats, and send people flying (just to name a few) is just so much fun.
But the 3 best qualities I found where:
The RPG elements. Upgrading clothing, weapons, abilities, and gear. It gave me a reason to want to explore each map top to bottom.
Stealth. I'm a huge fan of stealth, and it's done right in this game. Actually needing to study guard paths, being able to carry and hide bodies, being able to utilize abilities, and having pathways you can take to get out of sight and do all these things is just great stealth in my book.
Replayability. This is a big one, I hate shelling out money for a game I have no reason to play more than once. This is not one of those games. Since there's more than one path you can take, more than one ending, good DLC's, plus multiple ways to complete each mission.. That gives it major replayability, and makes it well worth the money.
One of the funnest stealth games I've playedHellOnWheels357 | June 27, 2012 | Review of Hitman: Blood Money Capsule
I love non-linear stealth gameplay, and this game is packed with it. You do the missions at your own pace and with your own style, and it's never the same mission twice. Just like Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, this is a game I will never stop playing, as soon as I'm unfamiliar with the levels I go back and play it again. I haven't found a game to date in this genre that's as good as this one.
That's why I've preordered Hitman Absolution.
