Combo Pack of the Best Superhero Games Out ThereHighlander9782 | July 23, 2014 | Review of Batman Game of the Year Pack
You get the two best superhero games available here, with Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition and Arkham City Game of the Year Edition. The graphics are top notch, with great stories by Paul Dini, who wrote the great Batman Animated Series cartoon. If you're a Batman fan, this collection is a must and included the great voice talent of Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy as Joker and Batman of the Animated Series. It includes all of his great villains and sidekicks. The fighting style combat, is fast, brutal and visceral, and offers the chance to do crazy insane combos. The gadgets and tech become very useful to bypass gun armed criminals and helping to solve Riddler's riddles spread out within the game. This collection is a definite must buy and will take you quite a long time to finish, so have fun, it will not end quickly.
Best Superhero Game Ever!Highlander9782 | July 15, 2014 | Review of Batman Arkham City: Game of the Year
The graphics and story are top notch, and includes a massive city that you can use as your playground. If you liked Arkham Asylum, you will love this game. I've spent 10 hours playing this game so far, and it says I've only done 50% of the main storyline, so that shows you that there's ton of content here to keep you occupied for a long time. There's so many side missions you can do that offer great mini storylines, such as working with Bane, all the Riddler missions of finding his hostages and solving his puzzles, and tracking a serial killer called Zsasz. There are tons of characters from the Batman universe here, pretty much all his villains are included, sidekicks, even Vicki Vale has minor part. You will have a great time exploring this grand city, there's always something going on, like muggings, lots of funny dialogue from thugs talking about Batman and villains. Game is a definite buy A+++
Good Survival Horror Game, shows a lot of promise in the futureHighlander9782 | July 6, 2014 | Review of Nether - Watcher
The game is similar to Day Z, but instead of zombies, you have monsters all around you in a post-apocalyptic world that's in ruins.
The map is very large, and going to expand in the future. The game can get very intense and scary especially if you're alone and its night time in the game when a lot of the creatures show up. There's 8 different monsters right now, some crawlers, golems are massive monsters, watchers are monsters on rooftops looking around with a red infrared vision for survivors. If you get close to any creature, they will be chasing you down, and its hard to lose them. I think weapons can be bought, I've only been finding gun parts and crafting them, and are scarce. I've seen servers for up to 64 players. Most of the time when I meet another player, I trust them, and follow them because they drop some supplies, and I usually get ambushed by his friends and killed so they can rob my supplies. Its hard to trust anybody in the game, and I've seen speed hackers as well. The safe-zone part of the map is free from violence and allows you to trade and meet other people but I've noticed that when you leave the safe-zone, there's people waiting for you to ambush and kill you so be careful. You can add friends on your social list so you can see there location on your map to meet them. The graphics are great, I just noticed some bugs and buggy monster AI that gets stuck in corners and walls.
If you like survival horror games, you should give this game a try, updates are being added.
Great Fighting Game, crazy fighting action moves and stuntsHighlander9782 | June 8, 2014 | Review of Injustice: Gods Among Us - Ultimate Edition (NA)
This game is from the makers of Mortal Kombat, and they did a great job with this DC fighting game. The graphics are top-notch, and there are tons of characters to choose from. The maps or arenas are very visually beautiful to fight in and can be interacted with as well, such as picking up cars and throwing them at your opponents. You can even knock your opponent out of the map and into another area. The special moves performed by these characters are over the top and outrageous but great for this type of fighting game, such as Doomdays special where the knocks you all the way to the bottom of the Earths core and back up lol. Definite buy if you're a fighting fan and a DC fan.
Best Fighting Game available on PCHighlander9782 | June 8, 2014 | Review of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition
The Mortal Kombat Series is back to what made it great 20 years ago, the visual 2D fighting style and fighting combat is similar to old MK games instead of the 3D fighting style of Mortal Kombat 4. The gore, blood, and crazy fatalities are all back as well. There's a new X-ray special attack move each fighter can do and its very brutal, showing how the skeleton of the fighter gets damaged. Another great thing is that all the moves for each fighter, including the fatalities and babalities are available to see ingame by pressing start and going to the Moves List. There are tons of fighters to choose from, including a new one, Freddy Krueger, and they all have distinct fighting styles. Definite buy if you love the MK series and fighting games.
Best Racing Game Out ThereHighlander9782 | May 13, 2014 | Review of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (NA)
I loved the original Hot Pursuit that came out over 10 years ago, and this game brings the joy of cops chasing criminals back again. Graphics are still top notch, with great cinematic car crashes. Cops and criminals have there own tools and gadgets to use in races to stop the other team such as an EMP blast, a EMP jammer to prevent getting attacked by one, Turbo Boost for criminals which makes it feel like your car is a jet, spike strips to slow down cars, road blocks, and helicopters dropping spike strips. Multiplayer races can go up to 4v4 matches and it doesn't take long to unlock new cars. Definite buy if you're a fan of the Need for Speed games or arcade racing games in general.
My favorite game to play for 10 yearsHighlander9782 | April 18, 2014 | Review of Return to Castle Wolfenstein
I started playing the demo of this game back in 2001, then I got the game in 2002 and haven't stopped. The multiplayer of this game is fast paced and one of the best I've seen in a game. You get to choose different classes such as medics, lieutenants, soldiers and they all have different advantages, soldiers have more weapons to choose from like the Panzer and sniper rifles, medics can revive fallen team mates and give medic packs to heal them, lieutenants can give ammo and do support fire with massive explosions. The graphics of the game aren't bad even for todays standards. The multiplayer is the reason I go back to this game, even today, but beware that there are only a handful of servers with people that still play this game.
Great Multiplayer Fun with FriendsHighlander9782 | March 29, 2014 | Review of Aliens vs Predator
There are three different single player campaigns, one for Marine, one for Alien and one for Predator. The campaign will help you beef up your skills for these characters when you get to multiplayer where its mayhem. The coolest character to use is the Predator, he's got all the cool gadgets like the shoulder laser blaster, some ninja type throwing stars, a spear and claws. The three characters all have different advantages and disadvantages when playing multiplayer, like Aliens are quick and can jump and climb upside down in areas, while the Marines have radar on there guns to detect nearby enemies and can get a auto tracking gun to shoot enemies down. Disadvantages of the Predator are that he's harder to control moving around since you need to choose where you want to jump before you do it, so its not automatic. The graphics of this game are still good compared to current gen games and this is a much better Aliens game than Colonial Marines. Definite buy if you're a fan of the Alien or Predator movies.
One of the Best Squad Based FPS out thereHighlander9782 | March 18, 2014 | Review of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (NA)
I've been a big fan of the Rainbow Six series since the first one and have owned all of them. This game changes the normal location of terrorist activities in other countries to Sin City Vegas instead.
Graphics are still good by today's standard for this game and you get lots of weapons to choose from and the best part is the customisation of your player, which includes the use of a webcam if you really want to be accurate. The AI of the enemies and your squad is good as well, so it's not too easy.
The Terrorist Hunt mode is good to play with friends online, with you and your team killing as many terrorists you can on a map. You can also do co-op in the campaign with a friend, which can also be upped to 6 friends with the use of a mod. Definite buy if you want a break from the run and gun games like COD or Battlefield, this is for stealthy military tactical fans, definite buy.
Great Co-Op Nazi Zombie Killing FunHighlander9782 | March 7, 2014 | Review of Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2
If you played the first one and liked it, you'll like this one as well. Similar spooky atmosphere, you play as the same characters, some similar types of zombies and some new ones. If you like playing COD Zombies, then you'll love playing this game. Not much of a story but visuals, music and maps make up for it.
Tons of Content, great priceHighlander9782 | Feb. 19, 2014 | Review of Battlefield 3 Premium Service (NA)
All expansion packs are included, if bought separately, it would be $60, so already you saving money, and you get new guns to use as well. Each expansion pack offers something different, for fans of COD games, the Close Quarters expansion is for you, for fans of massive maps and vehicles, Armored Kill has you covered. End Game has two person dirt bikes which are fun as well and After Math has earthquake aftershocks happening around you in the middle of the game. Until they fix the bugs of BF4, this is going to keep you happy and busy, definite buy.
Fun Open World MMO to play with friendsHighlander9782 | Jan. 23, 2014 | Review of Defiance
Haven't watched the TV show but the game is pretty fun when playing with friends. The map is very large and you can customize your character to look human or an alien which have special abilities such as cloaking or creating a decoy of themselves. You can travel to your friends location pretty quickly and can ride around using vehicles such as dune buggies. Tons of weapons to choose from and lots of skills to unlock to keep you playing for a long time. Haven't seen a large variety of enemies, usually the same 4 types of enemies with some nice boss battles thrown in and missions can be repetitive. Graphics are good, voice narration ain't too great. If you like Borderlands, you will like this game.
Fun Multiplayer game, unique from other gamesHighlander9782 | Jan. 14, 2014 | Review of Primal Carnage
If you like games similar to Left 4 Dead, then you'll probably enjoy this game. You get to control numerous different types of dinosaurs like a T-rex, a flying dinosaur, a charging dino and a fast jumping raptor versus different human classes with unique weapons like a flamethrower, a net gun to catch dinosaurs, a sniper and a heavy machine gunner or shotgun guy. The maps are not very big and all have a jungle theme, so not much diversity.
If you love GTA you'll love this gameHighlander9782 | Dec. 28, 2013 | Review of Just Cause 2
Great graphics, tons of weapons, and this game has a massive map that could atleast equal to any GTA game out there. There are tons of vehicles to use including motorbikes, race cars, jets, choppers and the grappling hook makes a quick fun way to travel around the city. Knowing how to use the grappling hook and the parachute together makes you perform a lot of crazy stunts. With the release of the Just Cause 2 multiplayer, there is even more crazy fun to be had with servers containing up to 1000 people for massive crazy all out war.
Competitive FPSHighlander9782 | Dec. 27, 2013 | Review of Counter Strike: Global Offensive
This is one of the best military shooters out there. It's realistic because you don't regain health after getting shot and requires teamwork in these medium sized maps or else you going to die in the first minute of the round. You get lots of weapons to choose from, and they vary depending on which team you choose, Counter Terrorist and Terrorist. Another great thing is that the end of matches, there are random prizes that are given out to random people, not based on kills, such as guns or weapon boxes that you can use yourself or sell on the steam marketplace for money. Two main game modes I like to play are hostage rescue and planting bombs. Definite buy to play with your buddies, you'll have a great time.
Best Game Deal I've ever seenHighlander9782 | Dec. 24, 2013 | Review of Valve Complete Pack
You can't beat all these classic AAA game titles for such a low price. The games I've played in this bundle so far are Left 4 Dead 2, Half Life 2 and Counter Strike Global Offensive. All these games are offer different game styles are have something for everybody. For a great story and action, get the Half Life games, for horror, suspense and action get Left 4 Dead 2. For military shooter fans, the Counterstrike series are for you. Valve consistently makes great games and to get them all included here for a cheap price is the best deal you can get.
My Favorite Co-Op Game of All TimeHighlander9782 | Nov. 30, 2013 | Review of Left 4 Dead 2
There are tons of game modes to keep you entertained for hours. Campaign is great with a nice variety of maps in different settings with swamps, snow and thunderstorms. My favorite game mode is team versus with survivors vs zombies. Each zombie has distinct abilities and strategies to attack, my favorite being the Smoker who attacks from a distance with his tongue. The modding community for this game is also unbelievable, with custom maps and models for characters. Definite must buy, great to play with friends.
One of the best GTA games out thereHighlander9782 | Nov. 10, 2013 | Review of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
The content of this game is very expansive including the largest map I've seen in a game which will take hours just to cover all the land while driving. The music in the game on the radio stations are very diverse and cover all types of music, my favorite being the Radio X station with metal music. The story is very immersive and includes a likeable main character you can root for. If you're a fan of the GTA series, this is a definite buy.
Best Gangster game out thereHighlander9782 | Nov. 5, 2013 | Review of Mafia II
The graphics of the game are still topnotch and the story is equally as good. You get to play through different historical eras of time like World War 2, and New York in the 1950's. The level design and maps are large and great to explore. The gameplay is great as well, with crazy shootouts breaking out from nowhere. Lots of nice little touches let you feel like you're in the 1950's especially with the great soundtrack on the radio, and clothing customization for your character. Definite buy if you love open world gangster games. The only con I can think of is that its hard to get away from the cops when they're chasing you. There's also DLC that adds to the story campaign with Joe's Adventure and Jimmys Vendetta.
Even better than the originalHighlander9782 | Oct. 27, 2013 | Review of Max Payne II: The Fall of Max Payne
Hard to outdo the original classic but this adds better graphics that are still great today, better gunplay and a equally great story. They refined nad polished everything that made the first one so good and added lethal love interest for Max named Mona. The gritty atmosphere, great narration and comic book style visuals are back here as well. You can't go wrong with this game, definite buy.
One of the most original action games out thereHighlander9782 | Oct. 27, 2013 | Review of Max Payne
I remember watching a trailer for this game back in the late 90's and hoping and waiting for it to come out. This game is a action movie fans dream with gunfights and violence similar to a John Woo movie. This is the first game I know that incorporated the slo-mo gunplay in a game. The story is top notch as well, similar to a detective drama and presented in unique comic book style visuals. Definitey buy for such an original action game.
Co-op games don't get more fun than thisHighlander9782 | Oct. 25, 2013 | Review of Payday 2 4 Pack
If you ever wanted to live the life of a bank robber and recreate some cops vs robbers action scenes from Hollywood movies, then this is the game for you and your friends. There are intense situations and missions that change constantly so that they're never played the same way again. Lots of potential to level up your character are available to upgrade your characters guns, inventory and equipment. Missions can be played guns blazing or with stealth. Graphics are improved from the first Payday along with the variety of missions available. Definite buy if you and friends are in the mood of performing criminal activities in games and being rewarded for it.
Similar to the original Payday, just improved much moreHighlander9782 | Oct. 16, 2013 | Review of Payday 2
If you're a fan of the original Payday then you'll love this sequel. The graphics have been improved, the AI is better and do different things based on the scenario and the missions are much more complex and interesting. You can complete missions using stealth which is a great alternative to going out guns blazing. Doing missions with your friends is a blast cause one of them can get greedy and try to go for more money and make the mission become a nightmare with the police trying to stop you. Great game for a great price.
Good game to play with friendsHighlander9782 | Oct. 16, 2013 | Review of Guns of Icarus Online
This is a great simulation co-op game where each member of the team is very important in there own way. If one member of your team doesn't do there job correctly, your steampunk ship will be destroyed. You can be a pilot, mechanic, gunner. Good graphics for a indy game, definitely play with friends cause I wouldn't trust AI to handle the work needed.
One of the most realistic war games out thereHighlander9782 | Sept. 15, 2013 | Review of Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad
Intense game where you use a real looking map to coordinate where you and your buddies are on the map. Bullets do large amounts of damage, so you can't just rush in like Battlefield or Call of Duty. You need some planning to strategize the best method of attacking the enemy. Different classes to choose from offer different weapons. Maps are large and the action is intense. The only downside is that the graphics aren't on par with current gen games.
Best Multiplayer War GameHighlander9782 | Sept. 14, 2013 | Review of Battlefield 3 (NA)
Great graphics, tons of vehicles to use, and largest maps i've ever seen. This has much better multiplayer than any Call of Duty game. The destruction that can be caused in the game is glorious. The single player is decent but shouldn't be the reason you buy this game. The graphics are still the best for any war game out there. You can have squads up to 4 people to play with your buddies so you can see where they are in the large map at all times. Numerous classes to choose from with each having distinct weapons. Definite buy if you're looking for a war game to play with your buddies.
The Superhero Game That Raised the BarHighlander9782 | Sept. 14, 2013 | Review of Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year
All superhero games look up to be as good as this game. When 90% of superhero games are pure crap, this game showed them all how to do it all. The smooth fighting gameplay, top notch graphics and intriguing storyline that makes you feel like you're in a comic book. All the gadgets are here to use and are individually useful based on the mission. All your favorite villains and characters are here from the Batman universe, Joker, Killer Croc, Scarecrow, Bane, Harley Quinn, etc. The scarecrow levels offer a nice change of pace in gameplay, and your detective skills are put to the test very well, to prove you're the World's Greatest Detective. Definite Buy, especially with the Game of the Year Edition including tons of DLC.
Great Story, Graphics, Fun MissionsHighlander9782 | Sept. 14, 2013 | Review of Mafia II
Entertaining game where you get to experience life in the 40's and 50's. It has a great soundtrack, making you feel like you're in that time period, eventhough technically some of those songs came out after the year you're playing in. The graphics are the best for a open world game, better than the Grand Theft Auto and Saints Row games I say as well, until GTA 5 comes out lol. The missions are very diverse and you work your way up to be a badass mafia man. Only bad thing is when you get chased by cops in the game, its hard to lose them.
Vicious Multiplayer FunHighlander9782 | Sept. 12, 2013 | Review of Chivalry - 4 Pack
Big medieval battles make you feel like you're in Braveheart. With four different classes to choose from, and lots of weapons to equip. Heads are going to get chopped off, limbs removed, and blood spraying everywhere. Combat is fun, including combos you can learn in the tutorial. Definite buy to play with your friends.
Great Co-Op Game, Bring FriendsHighlander9782 | Sept. 12, 2013 | Review of Killing Floor
Killing Floor is one of the best co-op games out there, with a minimum of 6 player co-op, and go up to atleast 36 players. Theres also a multiplayer game mode called Gun Game where its team deathmatch. Tons of weapons and maps to choose from to not keep you bored. If you got lots of friends you play games with, this is a must for a intense game experience. Only downside is that the graphics will seem a little outdated compared to current games.
Intense Spooky Fun GameHighlander9782 | Sept. 8, 2013 | Review of Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army
This game is great to play with 4 player co-op, the music gives a great scary atmosphere for the levels as well. Graphics are very good and the slo-mo sniper cam is badass fun to watch. I wish they had more levels but for this price it's well worth it.
Great Content for Reasonable PriceHighlander9782 | Sept. 8, 2013 | Review of Borderlands 2 Season Pass (NA)
This season pass is a must if you own the game already, all the DLC included adds much more to the story and items such as new weapons. The extra missions are fun to play and keep the funny spirit of the game.
Good Bloody Multiplayer FunHighlander9782 | Sept. 8, 2013 | Review of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
Make sure to do the tutorial in the game before you go out in the battlefield or you going to get slautered. They teach you useful tactics you can use to survive. This is one of the bloodiest, goriest, funny games there is. The ways peoples limbs limbs and heads get cut off will shock you. Another great thing is the taunting and cheering you can do, great funny lines. If they added horses as transportation, this would be one of the best games out there. You will have a bloody good time playing this with your buddies especially in the large maps. Definite buy.
Great Co-Op Game, lots of contentHighlander9782 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Borderlands 2 (NA)
The graphics of this game are different from your average game, which makes it unique. Theres lots of missions to do, and gets even better when playing 4 player co-op. Never played Borderlands 1, but this one is great fun, has a nice sense of humor and will keep you entertained for hours. Its a definite buy with all the great unique characters you can use with different skills.
Decent Game, not terrible like critics say.Highlander9782 | Aug. 8, 2013 | Review of Aliens Colonial Marines and Season Pass
The graphics are decent, not as good as they should be for a current gen game, the storyline is decent as well and all the weapons from the movie are nicely done. Had potential to be great based on the previews, but its still a good game if your'e a Aliens fan, especially with the 4 player co-op that you can play the whole campaign. Haven't played the game alone so I don't know how your teams AI will be but I wouldn't trust them. The multiplayer is the best part of the game, lots of different modes to choose from, aliens vs marines team deathmatch is my favorite. The Season Pass is worth it to unlock all the weapons, game modes and maps for multiplayer. Worth it if the game is on sale, especially if you got buddies you can play 4 player co-op with.
One of the Best Co-Op Games out thereHighlander9782 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of Killing Floor - 4 Pack
This game is very fun to play with up to 6 people, games can get intense, tons of weapons to choose from. Only negative is that the graphics aren't the quality of current games, but the gameplay makes up for it. If you like Left 4 Dead, you'll love this, its kept me entertained for hours, especially leveling up your perks to unlock better things. Tons of servers to choose from so game is definitely not dead.
Great Co-Op FunHighlander9782 | Aug. 7, 2013 | Review of Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 4-Pack
The 4 Player Co-Op is the best part of this game, the slo-mo sniper shooting is pretty cool as well. The atmosphere of the levels is nice and spooky for a zombie game. Haven't tried the single player but can't be as fun playing with 3 others. Worth getting if you like Left 4 Dead. Graphics are nice and detailed, you ran out of ammo from guns other than your sniper pretty fast so conserve ammo and loot from dead bodies.
