Highjacks your spare time

IamLincoln | Nov. 14, 2013 | Review of Payday 2 - PC

Payday 2 is fun, easy to get into, strategic shooter. I love the masks and the wide customization pool of them & the weapons. The game features four different skilltrees for customizing and enhancing your playstyle. The game handles really well and is overall a smooth FPS. Playing coop is a must, since singleplayer missions with AIs or going solo does not quite deliver the intended game experience. A lot of grinding and farming is a part of the game, but is nevertheless fun for a while. Unfortunately the game gets quite repetitive in the end. I also found it not as rewarding as it should have. I recommend everyone to try it out.

Telltales premature success

IamLincoln | Nov. 8, 2013 | Review of The Wolf Among Us - PC

Just as in the first episode of The Walking Dead, "The Wolf Among Us" captures and ensnares you in its unique storytelling. The choices you make in the game, heavily impacts you in a way that leaves you wondering whether you made the right decision. Its an emotional connection you experience in games. Based on my impression of the first episode, and the Walking Dead, I am certain that The Wolf Among Us will be a fantastic story to follow.

Fresh rework of the DMC series

IamLincoln | Oct. 28, 2013 | Review of DmC Devil May Cry Overflow (1) - PC

I love how they combined the best of the DMC series into a fresh, energetic hack n' slash. Combat is really smooth and the story captures your interest quite fast. Only thing that kinda bugged me was that they have a new weapon switch system, and as a DMC veteran it was hard for me to adjust.
