The best of open world

Igotboomed | May 20, 2014 | Review of Far Cry 3

One of them anyway, I've never seen such an amazing open world. To see many types of animals, some of which attack each other, watching little extras like a man / animal by the lake being attacked by a croc, the many collectables like relics, letters and flowers to gain skills and syringes to help you hunt, swim or combat. The voice acting between all characters are amazing and really get you involved in the story, the gameplay is really good to. Nice feel to the weapons, use of distraction and you have a choice throughout it to stealth or just take action. Not to mention coop missions. Anyway, this is very much worth it. I recommend it

A unique game with a fantastic movie like story

Igotboomed | Feb. 21, 2014 | Review of Heavy Rain

Heavy rain is a beautiful interactive game in which it exercises your ability to think fast and make quick decisions. This is a unique game that let's you more sit back and enjoy, cry and feel something for the characters. Most of it is about replying and using your sticks on your controller. Be careful when playing, as you play as 4 different characters, each with their own amazing personality in which you can get attached to. Every choice you make can decide the story. The game has 18 endings so if one character dies, it changes the end. Say a cop dies, then the killer might get away, if your main guy Ethan Mars (who is the target of the killer) dies, it doesn't help Ethan's son, who was kidnappe by the killer and what the hole game is about, every choice changes the story. It is fun and exciting. But there is a lot of emotional scenes so you may need a tissue. You can sit back, watch a beautiful story and be shocked at the outcome

A beautiful love story in the horror genre

Igotboomed | Feb. 19, 2014 | Review of Alan Wake

I agree, many call this a horror but there is more to it than that, this has a unique and beautiful story. The best way to expirience this is pick the best difficulty in which you know you can handle so it will not distract you or take you away from getting involved in the story. The voice actors were a perfect fit to make you believe everything Alan was saying and going through, there was so much emotion through out it, after taking on some enemies and running, you come to yet another cutscene with great music in the background, narration, and great flashbacks. The top cutscene in the entire game, I think you can agree, is the clicker, it almost reminds you of someone in your own life, it was such a moving scene between a couple who are so I. Love, and Alan was there to protect her from her phobia, with a beautiful made up story on how to defeat her fear, the candles lit, cold weather outside. The game is just more of a beautiful story about a man protecting his wife, than a struggling writer, to me anyway. I may rant but yes the story was good, sometimes the controls feel awkward and unresponsive at times, it can get alittle repetitive at times running and shinning a torch, but the story you are following out does that. If a story is worth sitting through, then anything else shouldn't be to bothering
