Great Game, let down by boss battles.

IrishFeangol | Nov. 5, 2013 | Review of Batman Arkham Origins - PC

As i say in the title. Its a great game. I love the game play and the story is great. However I really do need to knock off points for the boss battles. They are more repetitive than in previous games and a lot of the time its just "dodge, dodge, dodge, QuickTime event" rinse and repeat. General game play and combat feels quite rewarding and the map is quite nice to explore with some random crimes that you can stop to make it seem more alive, I would like to see civilians in the open world portion of the game however to add more diversity, instead of the entire world being occupied by villains!

This is Splinter Cell as it should be

After playing through the entire single player campaign, twice.. I can safely say that it well worth it. No matter what style you play in this you'll like. The stealth approach is very challenging in some places then rather easy in others. The maps are very well designed and often force you to think fast and even occasionally force you to change play style.

Great Story, Great Gameplay

The only thing people really need to know is that this game is brilliant. The story is great to follow and has lots of twists and turns that keep you interested. The combat and gameplay in general is really fun and rewarding. After playing through the game once I've decided to go back and play in 1999 mode. This offers a brilliant boost in the challenge the game offers and you get to enjoy it all over again!. The only thing I can fault it on is the world you play in, while amazing looking and for the most part open it becomes less interesting later in the game. Still all round and excellent buy.
