Great fun with friends.

Jammywolf | Sept. 16, 2013 | Review of Air Buccaneers

Graphics: Good, the games use of fog makes it so that it doesn't have to render the far away bits of the map, but still maintains an immersive feel. Sound: Good, standard explosion sounds and some good voice commands to shout to your team. Reliability: Good, I have only ever had a few bugs in this game, but it's ok because you can just join back into the game and pick up where you left off. Replay Value: Good, there are four classes and two factions for you to choose, many unlocks and quite a few different kinds of ship. Story: There isn't one really, but the back-story of ancient Vikings and bandits waging war in the sky really gets you exited. Gameplay: Great, there are lots of things to do: drive the ship, fire cannons, use handheld rockets, board enemy ships, tell your crew what to do and just general ship maintenance. The damage and health is great, ships don't get destroyed really easily but, at the same time, it won't take ages for a ship to be destroyed. Great game that I really recommend and hope you buy.

Mindblowing Destruction.

Jammywolf | Sept. 13, 2013 | Review of Just Cause 2

Graphics: Good graphics, nothing next gen, but the landscape views are fantastic. Sound: Good explosions, vehicle and gun sounds. But the voice acting is lacking emotion, you can hear what the characters are saying but I was not absorbed into the story. Reliability: Some crash to desktop errors, but still worth playing as long as you save often. Replay Value: Fantastic, this game will keep you hooked (pun intended) for a long time, there is so much stuff to destroy and have fun with. Story: Not exactly gripping stuff, but a nice glue to bind the other elements of the game together. Gameplay: Utterly Mind-blowing, fantastic gameplay. A way to describe it might be like GTA, but bigger and more of an emphasis on mobility. I thought the grappling hook would be a gimmick but I find myself using it not just because it looks cool, but because it's genuinely useful.

Magnificent survival.

Jammywolf | Sept. 11, 2013 | Review of Don't Starve

Graphics: Beautifully stylised graphics. Brown and grey colours give the game a distinctive Victorian feel. Sound: A calming soundtrack, and sounds that make the game a auditory pleasure to play. Reliability: I have never had a bug in this game and the game is continuously updated making it very unlikely you will ever run into a game breaking bug. Replay Value: As a rogue-like this game is built for playing again and again, each play through is different and helps you understand the game a lot more each time. Story: The story is very thin, but in all honesty that is not the games selling point. With such a thin story it is also a fun exercise to imagine how and why your character got to this strange world. Gameplay: Good gameplay, although starting each game can be boring and tedious, after that there comes a lot more things to do and the game becomes a lot more interesting and enticing to play. A great game that's well worth the money and a pleasure to play.

Biblical Briliance

Jammywolf | Sept. 11, 2013 | Review of The Binding of Isaac

Graphics: Very stylised, nice graphics. Although the art type doesn't appeal to everyone if you like the pictures you see, you know you will like the graphics. Sound: Good sounds, and soundtrack. Nothing mind blowing but solid. Reliability: I have never, or heard of anyone who has, had bugs with this game. Replay Value: It's a rogue-like, and is does so fantastically, it is a different game every time you play. Story: Brilliant story, that gets very creepy at times. Gameplay: The gameplay is very repetitive, but that doesn't make it bad .There are enough items that the game have variation and stays fresh. All the biblical, and satanic references give the game a distinct flavour, that very few games have managed to capture.

Fantastical Fantasy!

Jammywolf | Sept. 11, 2013 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Nexway

This game is probably the best game I've ever played. When I bought this game I knew very little of The Elder Scrolls franchise, but since I bought this game I have become the series' aficionado among my friends. There are so many places in the game to explore, that every time I play a portion of the game I find something new. With an absolutely thriving modding community on steam and the Skyrim Nexus you will find many great mods that will undoubtedly tempt you to download them. Anything you don't like in the game, or think should be in the game, can be added with a mod or two. I have played 300 hours and still counting. Graphics: 8, the base game's graphics are great, but can be improved even more with mods. Sound: 7, the sounds are great to listen to, but I recommend, downloading the "Sounds of Skyrim" set of mods, that greatly increase the ambient noise that you hear while exploring. Reliability: 8, there are a few big bugs, but nothing that can't be solved with a re-load or console commands. Replay Value: 10, it would take you thousands of hours to do and collect everything in the game, but none of it is in the slight bit tedious. And even if you do finish the whole game there is a swarm of mods waiting for you to play them. Gameplay: 10, outstanding it is a great game to play and really fun.

Fantastic game that will take up many hours of your time.

Jammywolf | Sept. 10, 2013 | Review of Fallout 3 Game of the Year

Have you ever played a game, that no matter what you are doing, all you can think of is playing the game. When I first bought Fallout 3 I thought it would probably just be one of those games that would just sit in my steam library gathering virtual dust. Boy, was I wrong, I love this game. One of my only concerns was that, like the other Fallout games, the game would end and that I could not play on that save any more. But to my surprise once I finished the game and the final sequence had rolled, the game still continued. With a little research I found that this was because of the Broken Steel DlC which is included in this addition of the game. Over all this game has a great story, great graphics, great sound, great gameplay that makes this game great fun!
