As with other Fifas there are a couple of game modes: Quick Play Career Online Play Ultimate Team & More (those are the main ones though) Quickplay is as its name suggests, you pick a team to be and a team to face (or your friend picks the team you are facing if you are playing against each other). Career mode is a 15 season career in which you can put your be a pro in a team (optional) then play/manage who ever you want. Controlling transfers, scouting systems ect. Online play is pretty much like quick play aside from playing against an online opponent, your wins / losses are tracked and you can go up/down divisions based on results. Ultimate team is probably the most popular feature now, you buy / sell / trade trading cards via a virtual market (can spend real money for card packs of different qualities), gaining coins which are traded via matches/selling cards. EA put inform players in packs, which are improved versions of other players keeping the game fresh. If you haven't played fifa before its worth a go and if you have you aren't going to be disappointed.
RewardingJoe56780 | Aug. 17, 2013 | Review of Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition - PlayStation 3
Dark Souls is notable for its difficulty, but unlike other games in which you improve via skillpoints and abilities you learn to read the patterns of enemies which makes it feel really rewarding. There is still a skill system in place which gives you a good push if you are struggling on a certain area (weapons/shields have different requirements to be used properly ect.) the story is a learn as you go thing but it provides a good atmosphere more than anything else. Worth a buy.
DecentJoe56780 | Aug. 17, 2013 | Review of Clive Barkers Jericho - PC
The game puts you in a squad of 7 people with unique skills, early on granting you the ability to jump between them meaning your powers vary. Its a decently made FPS, each character is required to move forward but none of them are boring. The locations in the game really change up as you go through it and I'd be hard done by to not recommend it with how cheap it is now. The worst thing about this game is the ending, which suggests for a second game (that isn't going to be made). Still you can't do wrong for its price.
100 hours and I wouldn't mind playing it again.Joe56780 | Aug. 17, 2013 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Nexway (1) - PC
Skyrim is the latest game in the Elder Scrolls series and in my opinion pulls out some impressive punches on its way. My main concern with Oblivion was that the combat wasn't very fun, albeit it was still addictive. Skyrim improves on combat greatly by adding more variation in and basically having a far more attractive gameworld to explore. You gain skill points as you level up which can improve different abilities to suit your needs, albeit the game becomes incredibly easy past a certain point (still strangely addictive though). If you are thinking of buying this, make sure to check out mods too since they really do add a lot to the game world and some nice tweaks to the games basic interface. If you haven't already, buy this game.
Fun game, well worth the sale price.Joe56780 | Aug. 17, 2013 | Review of The Darkness II Overflow - PC
In the Darkness 2 you take on the role of a man who has inherited powers via "the darkness". The tentacle like monsters shown in many of the screen shots allow flexibility in combat, sometimes proving more lethal than basic shooting. The games about 6 hours long (I played through on the second hardest difficulty) but still for the price is short and sweet. Aside from the story mode there is also a mode where you can play as one of four assassins and the events run concurrently with the main story. Each assassin has a special power and a weapon enhanced by the darkness, most of these powers you'll already know about if you played the story first. As there are 4 assassins it allows you to play with up to 4 players (if you aren't hosting sometimes the lag is unbearable though). This mode is a couple of hours long, making the game length closer to 8-9 hours in total. An enjoyable single player campaign further stretched by a decent co op mode. If you are looking for a single player fps you wouldn't be doing yourself any harm by trying this out.
