Get it…NOW!!!Krios101 | Sept. 16, 2013 | Review of Fallout 3 Game of the Year
Something about bethesda games makes you able to immerse yourself within a fantastic and very beautifully crafted game world, well beauty in the sense of the craft and scale which is ironic considering this game is about a post apocalyptic wasteland but combing it with a RPG and you have the makings of a amazing game.
Starting out as a simple pursuit of your father as you leave vault 101, you get to explore the wasteland how you want and do anything in any way you want combined with rewarding that exploration with loot, weapons and levelling up will lead you to easily sink a 100+ hours in this game. Plus with all the dlc and the point lookout will lead you to have an amazing gameplay experience.
The explorers dreamKrios101 | Sept. 16, 2013 | Review of Dishonored
A game which places you as an assassin is not a new thing but placing you as an assassin with true stealth mechanics and a in-depth reactive world which reacts to your play style Is a truly great game worthy of playing by anyone.
Whilst some might say this game is too short in length then they are hugely mistaken. They have taken to rushing the game through when the game can be only truly appreciated when you take it slowly and explore the finely crafted world here. Dunwall is a intriguing steam punk world which you get immersed in and can't help but feel empathy for the citizens and their plight of the plague.
(spoilers follow) I recall a section where I came across section of the level where a plague victim was in a off the track location waiting for his one true love to leave the city with him yet him struck with the plague, his hours are number and the following mission his lover meets him there and a connection broken by the plague can't help but pull at my heartstrings.
Dishonoured is a game well deserving for any stealth fan looking for a proper assassin game not named AC and one game you should truly set aside for.
A generation defining gameKrios101 | Sept. 15, 2013 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Nexway
This being my first elder scrolls game where I was able to get it launch day I was very excited and having that excitement matched on launch day is an understatement. Everything from the small stuff like the improved graphics and the wide variety of spells available helps to give the game a much more improved experience over oblivion.
Upon acquiring your first dragon shout you get a great sense of power and that feeling is kept alive each time you use a shout and with more powerful shouts to find, this game keeps rewarding your efforts of exploration.
Walk in any direction and you will discover something and that sense of exploration rewarding is a great one which really drives the game forward.
Overall a game you should not ever miss out on and to do so would be a crying shame.
