You'll have endless fun blowing your friends up in this game.LeafRunner | June 23, 2011 | Review of Magicka
Magicka is an extremely silly and innovative co-op game where you play as wizards. Using 8 different elements, you can create all sorts of spell combinations with different affects. The game is amazing with friends and asides from the great campaign, there's also a deep challenge and versus mode. Pick it up as soon as possible, well worth $10, let alone any sales it goes through.
Some neat new items for a good price, with a good cause.LeafRunner | June 23, 2011 | Review of Magicka: Nippon DLC
The actual items aren't all that special, but it's definitely worth donating to charity for. Also came with a TF2 hat if you bought it in a certain timerange which was a nice bonus.
Extremely innovative and new RTS with too little done.LeafRunner | June 23, 2011 | Review of APOX
The game, as said above, is extremely innovative and new, however it feels like so much more could be done with it. It suffers from extremely heavy polish issues, such as a awful HUD, bad, out of place sound, choppy units, but when you get down to the core game play it's very creative and tactical. They definitely could have done a lot more.
Innovative map, but imbalanced high price.LeafRunner | June 23, 2011 | Review of Magicka: Frozen Lake DLC
You'll have much fun melting the ice under your friends killing them instantly, but all in all, the map is heavily imbalanced and is a cluster of spamming spells. Not worth $2.
Much fun to be had with these new robes.LeafRunner | June 23, 2011 | Review of Magicka: Party Robes DLC
The robes are probably the most distinct ones boasted by magicka to date, and is a definite pick up for anyone looking to enhance their experience.
A mediocre map at a shameful price.LeafRunner | June 23, 2011 | Review of Magicka: Watchtower DLC
Unlike some of the other PVP maps, this brings absolutely nothing new to the table. It's the same experience for the most part with a different shape. Definitely not worth it's current price.
Probably the best of the new maps released with PVP.LeafRunner | June 23, 2011 | Review of Magicka: Final Frontier DLC
The maps are original and interesting with many unique experiences. The survival throws some very distinct, new enemies at you, and there is much fun to be had in Versus. To top it off, you even get a new great looking robe.
Does much good for the Fear series.LeafRunner | June 23, 2011 | Review of F.E.A.R. 3
Fear 3 isn't simply a rehash or recycle of the old series, but rather takes everything you loved about the original Fear games and brings many new elements and concepts to the table. The campaign from what I have played so far of it is very enjoyable and will keep you on the edge of your seat, and multiplayer is a blast. For those who aren't hardcore fans of Fear, you may want to wait for a sale to pick this up.
A fun, unique Magicka experience at a price a bit too steep.LeafRunner | June 23, 2011 | Review of Magicka: Marshlands DLC
The Marshlands is arguably the most creative Magicka survival map to date. The map design is great as well as creates many interesting situations, and the best part is the creatures. The map throws varying waves of difficult enemies at you, with some never before seen enemies. All in all, it's a great experience. The only problem is is that at 1.99 it may be a bit too steep, but you might as well pool in if you have some friends you play Magicka with, as only the host has to own the DLC.
