Say goodbye to your life...

Matt_hXc | May 25, 2013 | Review of Football Manager 2013 Overflow - PC

If you've ever played a football manager game before you should already know this but these games are amazingly addictive, that "one more match" mentality is here in spades and once it has your grip on you as the title suggests say goodbye to your life. If you've any interest in football or management sims then you'll love this the amount of detail and input you can have as a manager is insane but if you're new to this you can customize how much of it is automated while you get used to the game. Being a massive football fan i loved this game and you should pick this up!!!

The best 2d worms so far

When i first saw this game i thought it was just another worms rehash that will be just like the last one but after playing it for a while i was very wrong. They have actually put a lot more into this than previous entries such as dynamic water that can be used as a weapon, worm classes that each have their own uses and graphics that blow other worms games out of the water!! Not to mention Matt Berry's voice overs for the campaign are just hilarious and make it worth the price of admission alone. If you're a fan of worms and wondering if this game is worth it i definitely recommend it and especially if you've not played worms before this is the place to start.

Great idea, not so great delivery.

Now i would rate zombie themed games as one of my favorite type of games and would definitely rate left 4 dead and the walking dead adventure games as the pinnacle of that. This game is an interesting idea though as it is a top down strategy game where you command a team of survivors trying to survive the zombie apocalypse. I like this game because it's a realistic sort of game where you can't go around like an action hero taking out zombie after zombie you have to be strategic trying to kill them on their own without alerting others, if you get injured you have to try patch yourself up as quick as you can as blood attracts them. It's little thoughts like that that make me like this game. Unfortunately it falls flat on other fronts such as story, character development and graphics although the graphics part could be because they're not a well known studio so don't have the budget of big hitting competitors and they do their job. Overall i do like this game and enjoy the strategy you have to utilize to get through the levels it's a refreshing change to all the run and gun zombie games around. For the price it is at the minute it's well worth a look if you're into this genre and fancy something different.

A casual but really fun addition to the Worms universe.

I was a bit skeptical when i saw there was a worms golf game and thought it could just be a cash in game however once i played through a course it becomes clear they did actually put a lot of thought into this. Holes are addictive to replay to get every coin and crate in a level and trying to beat your last score and are just a pleasure to play through. The worms humor is spot on as well with old women batting your ball away, sheep eating them and moles digging them away to stop you reaching that good score. There is just the right amount of difficultly curve here where it is quite easy to just play through the holes but to get the best scores and totals a fair bit of precision is needed. There is a lot of game for your money as well with four courses with 18 holes each so for what i paid for it i am more than happy with it. This is a great game to just stick on and play a few holes of at a time if you've any interest in worms i say pick it up!!
