Awesome game, better than the firstOr1j1nal | Aug. 15, 2012 | Review of Darksiders II Limited Edition - PC
The combat has gotten a lot better, the game looks very nice, and the new loot system is pretty cool too. If you enjoyed the first, there's no reason as to why you will not enjoy this game. I would highly recommend this game, especially if you have an XBOX 360 controller for your PC.
Good game to play with friendsOr1j1nal | Sept. 9, 2011 | Review of Dead Island - PC
This game is pretty fun when you play with friends. However, I feel it is easy to get overwhelmed by all the zombies when you play on your own. Also, the game doesn't seem as fun when you are playing by yourself. The game has its bugs, but I'm sure that the bugs will be patched in the near future. Also, the way progress is saved is pretty confusing. If you are ahead of a friend when playing the game, I suggest that you just make a new character if you are significantly ahead. If you are ahead and join a friend in an earlier part of the game, you risk losing the progress you have made. Although, you do retain all your items and experience, you may continue where you left off when you were playing with a friend rather than where you should be. This game seems like Dead Rising meets Fallout 3. You pretty much scavenge for stuff, you can make weapons once you get blueprints, you can pick up quests and side-quests. The only problem I have is that I think the durability of weapons is pretty low. If you are up against one zombie only and there's no other zombies around, just kick it to death and save your weapons. Overall, if you plan on playing with friends, I would recommend picking this game up. Otherwise, it could get boring since its frustrating to not be able to take on too many zombies at once.
