I have not seen a game that respects both the original work

Payaso109 | May 9, 2014 | Review of South Park™: The Stick of Truth™

I'll start this review by the end. If you're a fan of South Park, or have ever enjoyed watching some of the seasons of this animated series, the note is 10 and you'll fall in love with this game. In fact , I think it is the best video game based on another work of fiction, and that gets you to think that you are enjoying a kind of interactive episode. The "respect" with which it has treated the original series and included many winks , make this title is a must for any fan of South Park.

It will cost an analysis without spoilers of what awaits you in this surreal game, while also going to cost me not to mention the amount of obscenities including senior inside. The game is even " more adult " than the series, which is saying , introducing us to the most delirious scenes . Lock yourself in your room , do not let anyone see you play South Park: The Stick of Truth if you want to avoid having to explain to your acquaintances .

This RPG begins with a classic dilemma , choosing between four different characters: Fighter, Mage , Thief and Jew . As expected , personalization is one of the strengths of this game , choosing clothing , accessories , appearance, etc. . our character and tweaking each of these features .

My analysis of Starbound!

Payaso109 | May 9, 2014 | Review of Starbound

Well, this is my analysis of the current state of Starbound .

The basis of Starbound is great, a sandbox open world , set in a wrapped future themed Sci -Fi , with interstellar travel , adopting mechanical several genres platforms arpg , adventures, crafting and farming , among others ; is a set that achieves hook from the first minute .

Now that I managed to reach the last stage of the game , planets lvl 10 armor and weapon high , I can say about the title.

As I said earlier, the foundation on which rests Starbound , are solid and dictate , which over time, will improve a lot, like a diamond in the rough that needs polishing.

But before that , there are still many things to do ...

I feel I wanted to create a vast universe , almost infinite , with more than 1 quadrillion planets that just thinking about it , one is mouthwatering , but unfortunately , as putting us squarely , and this summary is bent just a couple planets.

My current experience, was as follows : I started on my first planet, me armed with the best I could the first solar system ( without visiting other planets ) , called to the boss , beat him and so I went to the next level , I again do the same to move forward, and so on to the last .

The problem was that once I got to the maximum in approximately 12 hours , although I still have an infinite number of planets without visiting , I find no incentive to continue traveling ... What for? What new challenge I find? ... For any more , would be the only way of discovering new towns , to steal decorative items for my home , but nothing more.

And that's a big problem that will have to solve , ie , going to have to get a carrot on our noses , to keep us as if we were rabbits looking for the unattainable.

Main and side quests, treasures and more powerful weapons of armor that can be made ; enemies of all kinds, hard to present us with a great challenge and defeat them worthwhile for "something" .

The game needs to have a goal, have a goal , something that encourages us to continue traveling around outer space they have created.

This vacuum is very present when we sat in our cockpit control and we featured a map of constellations overpopulated ... and the first thing that comes to mind is : "Where am I going? " or " What do I have to do next ? " ; and yet this is summed only to throw an imaginary dice, and pick any random planet , to find materials ; but there is no map , no line to follow, just know it started on planets lvl1 , lvl2 after , and so on up to lvl10 and not even have to travel by countless planets with planets only go to 10 different levels and can complete the game.

The beginning of the game is also a bit "weird" , started on a ship , with advanced technology, and then we have to chop down to the planet with basic peaks and hunt animals with primitive weapons . And, this would be ok , but if we would start differently ... How, as for example, we start on a planet with no ship, nor any advanced technology, then the first step would be to survive, and construct basic elements for this purpose, and eventually move forward to finally be able to build us a ship, for only then , begin our space travel.

Once we begin our travels , schedule woven system , to help us choose our destiny , for example, start receiving a signal from a planet that requires our help, go there and meet a number of missions, such as gathering resources X , end certain enemies, etc. . When we complete all missions on that planet , the village chief prompts us to our next destination , perhaps to keep looking for information about our past , as we have chosen to race , etc. ..

That mini -bosses , bosses and large enemies heads ... the top level are almost immortal , as gods , such as " Kraken : the devourer of worlds " exist , a sort of Titan it extremely difficult , and also solve mysteries of secret sects or whatever.

In short : I think Starbound has much material to work with, I hope that over time , is the dream up to give us the incentive to venture into all these planets , and our goal to go to X place , not only to collect resources or decorative objects .

Prepare to die

Payaso109 | May 9, 2014 | Review of Dark Souls II (NA)

Play Demon's Souls and Dark Souls masochism may be considered by many, is that the series created by From Software is characterized by requiring the player far beyond just hang out. Dark Souls II is no exception, and arguably is the perfect union of its predecessors, fulfilling its mission and offering many more difficult enemies to defeat. This is my review of Dark Souls II.

When I met the first Dark Souls I immediately fell in appearance; nobody introduced me and therefore I only saw a RPG game full of fantastic creatures, swords, shields, spells and dragons: "Oh, I look like a little Skyrim, I must have it"; I thought, no one told me anything about this game and generally if I was walking on Metacritic notice a very high note, what promised enough. Also, I was wrong, that it was no Skyrim was a game like no other he had played.

One of the best game I played

Payaso109 | Nov. 13, 2013 | Review of Dishonored Nexway -

I give this game a score of 95 for their true freedom of action gameplay, a section spectacular artistic , superb atmosphere , engaging story , stealth and action , ... Dishonored has so many good things that attracted me .

positive :

Absolutely everything .

negative:

A little short for how good it is .

Our protagonist , Corvo , is the Lord Protector ( bodyguard ) Jessamine Empress , who is killed at the beginning of the game in our noses. The dead, how could it be otherwise , we like us , so our mission is to clear the name of our hero while we hit the real assassins and saved Emily, the heir to the throne , who has been kidnapped by these ruffians . Corvo is a stylish murderer has several weapons , lethal and nonlethal these are sword , incendiary bolts , pistol , grenades or proximity mines species , called spiral cutting , we also have some non-lethal weapons that leave our enemies asleep , analgesics as our crossbow bolts or our own hands .

The story takes place in the city of Dunwall , a kind of late nineteenth-century London with a futuristic , ravaged by a plague of rats that has decimated the population. The rich live isolated in their neighborhoods (thanks to electric arcs and caps poles , a kind of doors that break with its rays that dares cross them ) and protected by hundreds of soldiers , while the poor get sick from rats and become afflicted, something like zombies.

Payday 2 is one of my favorite games

Payaso109 | Nov. 12, 2013 | Review of Payday 2

It is the second video game first-person shooter Overkill, which is again inviting us to take part in all types of jobs in a cooperative multiplayer mode that will put us in the shoes of a criminal with up to 3 teammates. Overkill I think is a perfect mix of an action game with RPG elements to get you in the role of your favorite characters and you can create your own style of game with talent trees. PAYDAY 2 offers three things in their essence: action, shooting and teamwork ... that is the basis of the game together with the last point (team work), for some it is worse, for others it is more realistic.

This game reunites Chains, Dallas, Hoxton and Wolf to form a team of professional criminals to perform a number of different jobs ranging from jewelry or rob a bank, even complex jobs can be transporting drugs from one place to another .

Survival Game fun

Payaso109 | Nov. 6, 2013 | Review of How to Survive

It's very addictive, the skill system, creating objects and basic survival cool. The trouble is that the missions are repetitive, the story does not engage and the technical section is discrete. positive: The game focuses on feeling like a survivor animals hunting and cooking, creating weapons, seeking refuge ... negative: The objectives and development are limted history is rare and technically obsolete. The Zombie Survival Guide, have focused their stories to give us the key to survive in case of a hypothetical zombie apocalypse.
