New MMORPG that ROCKSRaven | Aug. 1, 2012 | Review of Guild Wars 2: Digital Edition PRE
Guild Wars 2 is a new MMORPG from ArenaNet and NCSoft. A great sequel that moves the boundaries of MMOs. Great designed open world that begs for exploring, interesting missions, epic story,... Most of MMORPGs are divided in PVP and PVE, but this has it all! You like PVE, no problem! You like PVP, this is the game for you. And best of all - it doesn't have monthly fees! You buy the game once and that's all expenses you have!
A decent sniping gameRaven | Aug. 1, 2012 | Review of Sniper: Ghost Warrior
I got this game as soon as it came out, because I am a fan of this genre. The game runs ok, graphics are really good, but the sniping part... not so much. I was alot frustrated that enemies could see me even if I was distant 50 meters away hiding in foliage! I heard that they fixed that, but I can't make myself play this game one more time because it doesn't have a replay value. I would really recommend buying this game because of the very low price here on GMG (great job!)!
Great adventure gameRaven | Aug. 1, 2012 | Review of The Next Big Thing
The Next Big Thing is the latest game from Pendulo Studios, a great developers team that brought us Runaway series. It came from nowhere and I must say - good thing that it did! Great story, characters, wacky humor that can make you laugh outloud (believe me :D), also pretty decent puzzles. All in all, it's a must-play for all the adventure games fans! I mean it!
Great game!Raven | Aug. 1, 2012 | Review of Bang Bang Racing
When I first bought the game, I was a bit sceptic about it. It's been a really long time that I played this kind of games. Started the game, choose the Carieer mode, car, track and started the race. Oh, boy, was I surprised! The game is fantastic! Great feel of steering and speed. Tracks are nicely designed and interesting. And best of all - it can be played in a long forgotten game mode - SPLIT-SCREEN with 2 players! BIG recommendation to all!
Goo was never this fun!Raven | April 19, 2011 | Review of World of Goo
Until this game, I lost my faith in high quality gaming... but it was restored!
Original in many levels, you can't really describe what is this game about. With the influence of physics, you have to solve puzzles by using different type of goo-balls and build towers and other constructions to achieve a goal. There are many inovative levels, narative storytelling and the simple gameplay that will make you play it for hours and hours.
This game is one of the best Indie games today. And it deserves that title. I recommend this game!
Magic and physicsRaven | April 19, 2011 | Review of Trine
I was a bit sceptic when this game came out. I was interested, but I thought that it was like any other platform game - short, boring and uninnovative. Well, I am glad I was wrong!
The first thing you will notice is beautiful graphics and catchy ambient music. And, as you start to play, you see that there is much more than that. Story that makes you play the game in one run and come back for more! Puzzles that you solve with the knowledge of physics, inovative level design, and hunt treasures beyond your wildest imagination! Fire arrows with the Thief, strike hard with the Knight and create objects with the Magician. And, in all that greatness, Trine lets you play the game in coop mode localy! What more could you ask for?
All in all, Trine is one of those games that you shouldn't miss., Exceptional game that is worth every cent. Just play and see.
