Simply addictive

Raziel123 | Aug. 10, 2011 | Review of Sid Meier's CivilizationĀ® V

I remember playing Civ III very fondly; it was an addictive experience. Sadly, i had to miss out on the fourth title, but have been able to experience this newest entry in the series. And boy, the addiction is back. You like to have your own pace playing games, to manage resources, make important decisions without the rush and urgency of real time strategy, then this is the way to go. Once you start, you can't let it go. There are a lot of ways to play it, different ways to win, dozens of civilizations and leaders to choose from, giving it lots of replayability. In 1 week i put in over 70 hours into it and it's worth every cent. It's not perfect because games with huge maps and lots of players really bog down your system; and mine's pretty good, which means that i could probably be a bit more optimized. But oh well. It's still a sweet deal.
