Youda Farmer 2RoKkie | March 25, 2013 | Review of Youda Farmer 2
Basically you are still collecting different products like fish, milk, eggs, or apples with your truck from various farms, and deliver them to the vendors in the village, for example the baker, the butcher, or the grocer. Save the Village offers a very satisfying gaming experience. Sustaining the core of its prequel, but solving major issues and adding logical and welcome improvements and features prove to be a reliable recipe for successful and high quality sequels. Help that small village against Big Boss and enjoy this challenging and rather unique time management game.
Pros: Gorgeous, colorful graphics. Decent length and high replayability. Unique gameplay. Complex and challenging pace. Major improvements over the first game.
Cons: Puzzle levels can be annoying.
Great shooter - eXceed 2nd Vampire REXRoKkie | Jan. 27, 2013 | Review of eXceed 2nd - Vampire REX [Playfire]
That said, it is a very good bullet hell shooter with a good puzzle element, the Japanese voices are excellent fun. Some of the bosses attack you verbally as well , at the same time as spraying bullets. No idea what they are saying but it's hilarious. A very nice localisation of a good game.
Ziro reviewRoKkie | Jan. 27, 2013 | Review of Ziro DNS
A fun little game to play that gets very difficult and challenging to play. It will keep you hooked for hours and its good to play with just a few minutes to spare or a whole hour. This title also runs perfectly on Mac & linux using Crossover Games. Don't think too much - just buy it and have fun!
UFO: Afterlight reviewRoKkie | Jan. 27, 2013 | Review of UFO: Afterlight Cap
This is a decent strategy game in the vein of Xcom. At first the controls can be a little non-intuitive, but you get used to which mouse button to click and it all comes together. The strategy side is quite good, although it can be annoying at first when people always invade your territory. I noticed a few bugs, like I didn't receive a certain tech at some point. I enjoyed it overall though. Worth a purchase if you were a fan of the original.
Death RallyRoKkie | Jan. 27, 2013 | Review of Death Rally
This is an "ok" game that is kind of like renegade ops but racing. It has pretty much the same controls and strangely supports 3D just like renegade ops. Its main stuck points are the controls not being customizable when using a 360 controller (but you can for keyboard...) and the UI. It is kind of a wonky jump the cursor around scheme on menus which gets sort of annoying. There is alot of gameplay (some would call it repetition) and plenty to upgrade, i really miss driving games that let you upgrade your car as you go, though it isnt like you buy new transmissions or port polishing or anything.
Alan Wake Collector's EditionRoKkie | Jan. 27, 2013 | Review of Alan Wake: Collector's Edition
Alan Wake was originally a PC Game and was cancelled because of Microsoft exclusivity, and it's finally coming home! It's a masterpiece, very great history, atmosphere and gameplay, the PC version received some love, plenty of graphics customizations, achivements and alot all DLCs released so far, it's a MUST BUY!.
Awesome gameRoKkie | Jan. 26, 2013 | Review of The Darkness II dns
It's too bad that first game is not on PC because its sequel is an excellent FPS. The comic book-like art style is great and the adult storyline is engaging. The English voice-acting is well done and soundtrack is excellent. As a shooter, the gameplay is decent but is nothing special. I really enjoyed working my way through this and the gun play was improved massively. Totally recommend the game.
