Praise the Sun!

Rollmax | July 17, 2013 | Review of Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition NA - PC

Not sure why I haven't already recommended this game. If you know it for its staple of being "THE HARDEST GAME", don't be dismissive of the game. IMO, when you pick up the game for the first time I hope you see it as a challenge, get yourself a medal when you overcome it. In terms of gameplay, once you master it, the real fun ensues and you find the deep and addicting features that make this underappreciated game shine. Bosses? Epic on a grand scale. Adventure? A whole world with no loading screens. Very cool. Online? The greatest implementation in history since its previous installment. How about the controls? WELL.....Better follow the instructions on the store page and buy yourself an xbox controller because this game will actually be IMPOSSIBLE when you use a keyboard/mouse. If you want the extra challenge, carry on. The game was a port and its successor is looking to receive more treatment before heading to the pc. If you can get this game, I assure you it'll be a fun experience. Take it slow if you have to, bring a friend to ease the pain, but always Praise the Sun and carry on for the upcoming rewards.

Defining Friendship

Rollmax | July 4, 2013 | Review of Grand Theft Auto IV Steam - PC

I have owned this game on both consoles and PC, purchasing all DLC included. Aside from the great amount of story you can play through, the multiplayer will be the sole reason people purchase its upcoming sequel. Though previous installments included a great modding community with limitless multiplayer, the basic free roam and racing can produce tons of fun with friends. If you can pull in a big party, there's no doubt you can come up with something new to do. If anything, pick this up at a low price now before your friend begs you to play the newest one with him, the experience will be well worth it.
