A pretty good WWII gameRyannHUNN | Sept. 13, 2014 | Review of Battlestations: Midway
Nice mix of strategy and combat. You can control planes, ships and even submarine. It's cool that the game is based on really battles of WWII. Also the are challenges which can be really hard but it extends the game.
The graphics and the cut-scenes are decent, but the gameplay is really addictive I liked it, but it can be slow sometimes.
Overall I recommend it if you like these kind of games, if you don't give it a try! The game is cheap and it worths the money!
The Greatest RTS of 2012RyannHUNN | Sept. 6, 2014 | Review of XCOM: Enemy Unknown
After playing XCOM: Enemy Unknown I feel ashamed of not playing any XCOM games before! I don't really like turn-based tactical games except for Civ , but I can honestly say 2K did it again!
The best thing about the game is that it gives you freedom. You are the one who looks after researching, building, and you'll have to choose to whom you're are helping. And if you fail, you'll regret it immediately.
The gameplay is fun, the graphics look really good, and the soundtrack is awesome. Every RTS fan should play this
The best Lego game!RyannHUNN | Sept. 6, 2014 | Review of LEGO Marvel Superheroes
I played almost every Lego game before, but I would say I enjoyed it more than the other games. (NOTE: I don't really like Marvel)
The game offers you an open world where you can do a lot of things! There are A LOT of character to unlock, little side-missions, and of course you can collect a bunch of stuff, so it means the addictivity of the game is really high. It can last to 30-40 hours.
The gameplay is awesome, the graphics are awesome, it's addictive, has a great soundtrack so it's really worth the money. The only downside is that you can only play local coop.
One of the most Underrated games of 2012RyannHUNN | Jan. 30, 2014 | Review of Binary Domain
I heard about the game before and i bought it on the sale, and i have to say it's one of the hidden gems out there in the TPS genre.
The game is from the far East, so that means it's a bad PC port, not as bad as Dark Souls, but bad. The Optimalization is quite good, my old PC handled it very well Surprisingly the story is excellent, which I did not except in this kind of game. The graphics are also pretty good. The game has a 'Trust System' which I liked, but it's not a big deal. You gan trust points at certain teammates if you agree with them etc. and if their trust meter is low they wont listen to your commands. Meh. The game also has a voice command system, which allows you to give commands to your mates with your voice, which is a little disappointing for me, cause as a non-english speaker the game didn't recognize most of the time my voice. Other games handled it very well, so it left me unsatisfied
The gameplay is simple: shoot the robots. That's all. The cover system is not bad, simple as in Gears of War. The boss fights are cool, which is unexpected, these kind of games have boring bosses most of the time.
Verdict: It's a great Sci-Fi TPS game with an interesting storyline. I highly recommend it
Saddest game of 2013RyannHUNN | Jan. 27, 2014 | Review of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
I finished the game not so long ago and I have to say this was one of the favourite game of all time for me. First, the game requires a controller which can be disappointing at first, but trust me this NEEDS a controller. You control the two brothers with the analogs and each brother has an interaction button. The two brother has a very different personality the big brother is a brave, strong boy, the little brother is a slower and a weaker one but he's a smarter and a trickier. The Story in a nutshell: you have to find medicine for your sick father. The brothers have to get the medicine but they find the adventure that redefine their life. The Graphics looks very nice , I like its art style yet it needs no power. The Gameplay is very simply yet its very very smart. The Music of the game is Beautiful, no more words needed. The Ending was sad, it really hurts the emotion
Verdict: Best Indie Game of 2013 if not the GOTY
