Kill American History: Deluxe Edition

Sayoblade | Jan. 30, 2013 | Review of Assassin's Creed III: Deluxe Edition DNS

Ok, first off, this is a fun game.

The movement and combat remind me a lot of Batman AC, and this is one of the highest praises I can give a game. Graphics are amazing, controls are smooth and the story... well that depends.

If you an American brought up on American history you'll get a kick out of all the locals and the characters, not to mention the little twists everywhere giving you the "true" history. If you not an American (yes there are people out there, trust me) you'll be bombarded with names and event that the games makes you feel like you SHOULD know and not really know why they are significant, making you feel like your out of the loop on the story.

Story... well, its kind of "pulled-by-the-nose" row of missions where YOU highhandedly change the fate of the USA, even if you get the feeling your really on the wrong path 3 minutes into the game, no choice you CHARACTER thinks its a good idea, your just along for the fights...

So, FUN game, great controls, great graphics... Mhhh story and characters.

TBS that feels like an good action movie

Sayoblade | Jan. 1, 2013 | Review of XCOM: Enemy Unknown dns

Xcom gives you a great blend of turn-based strategy, base management and all that other great stuff, but at its core I think it succeeds because of the connection you have with your squad.

I play with my son and one day I lost his favorite character while playing alone (on hardcore) I felt like I should be writing a letter to his family. Thats what drives this game in my option.

Great Experience

Sayoblade | Dec. 11, 2012 | Review of Far Cry 3

One of the first games in a long while that made me feel something for the protagonist (and the antagonist... obviously :)) and all the characters in the world.

Not only did the story keep me interested but there's SO much to do around the world, killing, exploring, even hunting (which I'm usually against both digitally and analogy) are all really fun. You can set up your own goals and have fun 15 minute sessions, or sit for hours and really sink in.

GREAT game, great soundtrack, and I haven't even started on Co-op and MP. One of the best I've played in a LONG while.
