Good way to keep series freshSpecu | Nov. 27, 2013 | Review of Lara Croft And The Guardian Of Light
That was good idea to keep the series fresh and prepare for bigger revolution. It's still the same concept of raiding the tombs, with different perspective and co-op friendly. I should thanks to the Crystal (developer) for that step because now control is better than original from old trilogy. There is also more shooting sequences but with better control and character movement it's now better and don't frustrate that much compared to older Tomb Raider. Puzzles are well designed (also scaled well with progress) and there is some that make a lot of fun when you can play with other player. Surgical precision or field for crocked tricks? It's all your way.
Good choice for newbiesSpecu | Nov. 26, 2013 | Review of Silent Storm Gold Edition
Good choice if you looking for games that show you how to have with tactical games. Game is placed in WWII but have fiction elements like experimental equipment and story that's not history based. Characters improvement is combination of XP leveling and "grow by using" with interesting skills for every class. Game have great physic and destruction system that can add more spice for gameplay. Game have mixed difficulty level. Went to easy when you got silenced weapon, then panzers happen (not great way to make game interesing or making it challenging again). Compared to based game addon (yes, not DLC, just addon) named Sentinels is hard, require perfect plan&execution with surgical precision. Also – add economical aspect (aka money), more equipments better AI.
For people bored with modern shootersSpecu | Oct. 22, 2013 | Review of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
I'm not veteran of multiplayer games (got connection for few years, played maybe 4) and fan of games with first person perspective (FPP) but most popular genre - modern shooters - wasn't that what I wanted from multiplayer.
Then Chivalry happen. Spend lot of hours in the game, pure enjoyment.
Obviously it have some flaw and strange developers choices but it doesn't matter, when war cry get out from your throats...
