Keeping you busy.

Takayano | Aug. 23, 2014 | Review of Portal 2

Portal 2 is a game that offers puzzles which could keep you busy for hours. In the single-player mode, each level gets progressively harder as the game goes on. What makes this game different from others is most notably the Handheld Portal Device, which, as the name suggests, opens portals for the player to either jump through the portals in order to access different areas of the level or transport objects through them. Unlike the first Portal game, the sequel offers a multiplayer co-op mode, which has many other levels that are different than single-player mode. The multiplayer mode offers the bigger challenge due to needing to co-operate with four different portals that can be generated. With this, the game provides the player with hours and hours of gameplay and mind-stumbling puzzles. What are you waiting for?

Stunning game.

Takayano | Aug. 23, 2014 | Review of Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition (NA)

This is a game unlike others. I usually cannot last very long with FPS games, but Borderlands 2 is a rare exception. For starters, the game is very aesthetically appealing. You are given many options to customize your character to your liking, most of the guns look different from one another, and most importantly, each map has its own little details that makes the planet of Pandora more exciting to explore. Secondly, the game provides the player with quests to keep them busy and lots of humor to keep the player entertained. Thirdly, there are many options to make your character stronger - most notably, the badass ranking system. This particular system and the large skill sets make Borderlands 2 a game that is highly replayable. I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a nice FPS game!
