Old School Shooter

Than | Dec. 28, 2014 | Review of Wolfenstein The New Order POST - PC

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a great old school shooter. If you are looking for an open world, complex shooter then this is not for you. However, if you are looking for pure, fast paced, exciting fun then this checks all the boxes. There's no nonsense from the off. The game chucks you in at the deep end and leaves you there and it's fantastic, there is never a dull moment. One issue I have found is that the game is a little short but the time you do get on it is hugely enjoyable. If you love old school FPS' and hate Nazi's this is the game for you. Also, you can dual wield huge shotguns!

Another Fantastic Version

Than | Oct. 31, 2013 | Review of Football Manager 2014 - PC

I have been playing this game for a couple of weeks in beta ahead of its official release today and I have to say additions made to this version are fantastic. Firstly the new ways you interact with news items is brilliant, all interaction such as talking to players and dealing with the media takes place directly on the news screen saving time and allowing you to stay organised. Its a really small but noticeable change which really adds to the game. I am also really enjoying the new board interaction, after a rough patch of games the board will call you in and possibly set you a points target that you must reach in order to save your job. This adds a lot of excitement and realism to previous versions. All in all this is a must have game for fans of the FM series and football in general.

Great arcade racer!

Than | Sept. 30, 2013 | Review of GRID 2 POST - PC

This is a great game if you aren't expecting a racing simulator. For me the feel of GRID 2 is very arcadey and very different from the overall feel of GRID 1. However it is incredibly fun. The career mode is fun and addictive and online mode is a great especially when played with friends. GRID 2 looks fantastic too! If you are looking for a more forgiving and fun racing game then you can't g wrong with GRID 2!
