Fun, One of a Kind GameTheWonWhoKnocks | Nov. 4, 2013 | Review of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
For those not looking for a story or narrative and just looking for fun times and laughs, then this is for you. It has very good mechanics and very fun multiplayer, especially with friends. Every hit actually feels like a hit, and isn't like other games where you are a jacked up warrior taking hits as if they were nothing. It also feels very balanced. Yes, the higher leveled weapons are way better, but their statistics mean absolutely nothing if you don't know how to use them, so a low level player could definitely defeat a higher rank. Now the mechanics are great, the battles are a blast, especially big ones, and with friends you can double all of this. Although it has some flaws, the major flaw that stuck out for me was the way to setup a server. If you want to run a dedicated server, it is difficult with little tutorials to help, such as trying to change round times, which I still haven't figured out. All in all, it is a great game and if the server thing bothers you, then just join an empty server.
