Great Co-op zombie fps

Wildfella | June 8, 2015 | Review of Killing Floor 2 - PC

Gotta hand it to the developers, this game looks pretty good so far for an early access game. Decent visuals and solid gameplay. Haven't ran into any bugs yet during my matches. Also keeps you on your toes as enemies can swarm you if you stay still in a spot too long. My only con right now is the boss on boss wave shreds armorbtoo quick for his ranged attacks.

Best RPG I've played in a long time

Wildfella | June 5, 2015 | Review of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt - PC

Probably the best RPG that's going to grace us in 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has so many quests to complete, items to craft or find, Gwent (which is a really fun card game), and places to explore. I have put in 35 hours so far and I am no where near done playing the content in this game. Combat is fun yet challenging on harder difficulties and with the variety of enemies you encounter you need to fight them with many different approaches. Exploration leads to items, recipes, or even places that buff your powers. The game also features an in-game card game called Gwent and, if you like card games, you will find yourself dedicating a lot of time gathering cards and constructing your decks. there are a lot of different cards with varying factions to choose from. The open world you roam about in is downright gorgeous. Be it a dark cave, underwater, or out and about in fields or mountainous regions, a lot of work was put into the detail and feel of the world to provide a great immersion into the game world its self. Also, for story missions or side quests your choices have impact on how the story of the game progresses. And a decent amount of them you make are not so black and white either. The only con I have about the game is that horse controls are clunky. Other than that this game will have you playing it for hours.

Hit me right in the feels

Wildfella | May 26, 2015 | Review of Life is Strange Complete Season Episodes 15 - PC

So far the story is great (3 of 5 episodes in) that manage to make me redo choices over and over and over again. The rewind mechanic is a fantastic idea which allows for you to change choices you have made. Speaking of which, most choices can be difficult to decide upon as they either favor one party over the other. The choices leave a big impact on how the story unfolds. It's also worth to note that the voice acting is phenomenal. However, there are a few cons to this game as well. First is the controls at first may be confusing, secondly, the episodes are a little on the short side. Overall it's an amazing game that delivers an outstanding story.

Amazing hack and slash gameplay

Wildfella | May 26, 2015 | Review of Metal Gear Rising Revengeance - PC

Love this game. I like how there isn't a big emphasis on stealth but its still an option while the combat is nice and fluid. The amazing soundtrack this game has delivers a high octane hack and slash feeling. Good story with bits of humor here and there. The dlc packs that are included form the console version are not too great but give a bit more insight into the main story. Its a nice bonus to include different costumes and weapons that can be unlocked in game, some of which includes throwbacks to the previous games in the MGS series. The only drawback I have with it is the camera controls. All in all its a great game with an even more amazing soundtrack with great replay-ability. I've played the main story about 6 times myself.

I'll Need Your Clothes, Your Motorbike, And Your Gaming Rig!

Wildfella | Oct. 23, 2013 | Review of The Showdown Effect Deluxe Edition - PC

Absolutely love this game from its platforming combat style reminiscent of Super Smash Brothers to its subtle detail of iconic 80s trends including all of those hilarious one-liners. Decent amount of different characters and weapons to add some variety to the various game modes and includes a lot of ornamental swag which can be unlocked to customize your characters looks. Its play style Is close to that of SSB but different enough to not feel the same. Controls are pretty solid though they can take a bit of getting used to but work for this game. It has some nice game modes but could use a couple more in my opinion but the amount of hilarity of the subtle and not so subtle humor that takes place in the matches more then compensate. There is also a place for ranked competitive play and the weapons and characters are mostly balanced (though some do better against certain people etc). Overall I highly recommend this game to anyone who had a blast on games like SSB or someone who likes 80s themed humor.

Well worth the money

Wildfella | Aug. 30, 2013 | Review of Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition - PC

Fallout 3 GOTY edition brings you not only the story but DLC'c as well. No where near endless replay as things may start to get repetitive but is does have a TON of content in the normal story and the DLCs. You get to choose how your character develops whether it be heroic or evil or whatever you prefer. Your skills that you can train for offer a variety of play styles. Not only that, but with the wonderfully crafted world and the way the world is portrayed definitely immerse you in a truly wonderful apocalyptic world of mutants, bandits, and other horrifying creatures. And if that isn't enough, don't even get me started on the sheer amount of mods out there that can enhance your experience further, from texture mods to weapons and even new missions. You WILL get your money's worth out of this game.
