A perfect pick if you're a Game of Thrones series fan!

XGpredator | Dec. 5, 2014 | Review of Game of Thrones A Telltale Games Series - PC

As most people Know all TellTale Games have been quite a hit with the gaming community and that is because of their rich story and great way of enforcing decisions and their impact. This game particularly hit a home with me as I am a lover of the show and the books, anything around this time really so maybe that has clouded my judgement here a bit. The Pros: - Very Rich Story with a promising future and keeps the gamer entertained all the way through - Episode 1 was alot longer than i expected and matched the pace of the show making it a fulfill fulfilled at the end - Seeing alot of the characters from the show keep their personalities and even sounded like the characters from the show hit home to me - The weight of my choices making me want to go back for more than just 2 times so adds alot of replay value - The fact this game is not afraid to kill of a character to progress the story further is a nice feeling and matches the books and show - The graphics to me felt a little wonky at points but has a pastel feel to it The Cons: - The controls (Keyboard and Mouse) could feel a bit wonky at certain points like moving the mouse while walking - The Graphics to certain people may turn some people's heads because it seems like a downgrade from the previous games but to me that doesn't matter.

X Rebirth

XGpredator | Nov. 26, 2014 | Review of X Rebirth (1) - PC

If you've asked me a year ago I would have told you "By all means, avoid this game!". Today, 1 year after launch and after a long series of iterative patches that improved so many aspects of the game and bumped up performance by orders of magnitude, I can confidently say "Get this game!". Currently, the game is really enjoyable and has lots of offer. If you're a veteran X-series fan, be warned that this is not X4. It's a new game with its own new formula even though it resembles X3 in many ways. Seeing the diligence of Egosoft at fixing bugs and introducing new features, I have to say I'm really excited about the future of this game.

A step forward in simulators!

XGpredator | Nov. 26, 2014 | Review of Construction Simulator 2015 - PC

Overall, greatly pleased with this game and tons of fun ahead with my buddies. It's not the game of the year, but certainly a great simulator for anyone enjoying this type of game. Pros; - Good game base. Very fun simulator that will please most simulator enthusiast; - Steam Workshop availability in the future for extra vehicles/maps/missions; - Good multiplayer setup; Makes it a lot better playing with friends doing missions; - Casual game that is fun to play Cons; - Very glitchy for an early released game: A lot of glitches are really basic; - Very bad custom controls availability: Will probably be fixed but not impressed at first sight; - Seems very repetitive as for the missions and tasking; - The driving of vehicles doesn't feel natural; Maybe this will be fixed with a racing wheel support in the future;

Highly recommended for DC Comics fans!

XGpredator | Nov. 26, 2014 | Review of LEGO Batman 3 Beyond Gotham - PC

Lego Batman 3 is a game mostly set around space and the game has a various amount of DC Universe characters and 6 unique never-seen-before DLCs Lego Batman 2's ending hinted this game very well which heavily convinced me to play Lego Batman 3 The game experience is the same thing as all of the other Lego Games since Lego Batman 2, like the same boss fights where you hit the boss once then you have to do a certain amount of methods and then you are able to punch them again, and it goes on and on. And basically there is Adam West (1966 Batman Actor) acting similar to how Stan Lee acted in Lego Marvel Superheroes. The thing that is cool that there was another way to unlock a character by finding their character token in levels. Also, one of the things I found new was how Traveller's Tales built a better method of changing character abilities, for example: If I'm Batman and I need to suck some electricity out, then I can easily switch to the electricity suit by pressing the usual button to change characters and I can choose an ability. My problem is that there is NO open world and I never understood why Traveller's Tales had to remove the feature though and if you want a Lego game with open world, then go back to Lego Batman 2 or play Lego Marvel Superheroes. PROS: + Large roster of characters + Awesome DLC + New method of changing character abilities CONS: - No open world - Same story mode - Same boss fights

Perfect pick if you're a basketball faann

XGpredator | Nov. 26, 2014 | Review of Basketball Pro Management 2015 - PC

Basketball Pro Management 2015 has improved a lot compared to the 2014 version, almost everything has been fixed and new features have been added. Pros : - Ability to create your own plays - I'm not a big NBA Fan but I really like to play with a NBA team and manage the salary cap and exceptions - Managing the arena and change every little detail is pretty cool (change the beers price for example) - I really had the impression of having the ability to influence games with my tactics/substitutions. - The ability to use "quick plays" in games is perfect (juste click on a player and say "take a 3pts shot on next possession" - I like the scouting system, though it could be better with the ability to send a scout to observe a country/league instead of only individual players - game's lifetime is huge - Italian language has been review since last version (I play in Italian) Cons : - Games realism can be improved sometimes - 3D a bit messy sometimes - Players' tiredness in game and during trainings should be improved.

Relic returns with a first big multiplayer DLC.

XGpredator | July 24, 2014 | Review of Company of Heroes 2 The Western Front Armies - PC

It's difficult to give a note to the Western Front Armies. If the player is discovering the series with this stand-alone he'll find here a rich multiplayer mode and two quite interesting factions to play, and for who already have the basic game they'll will pay € 20 for 2 factions and 8 maps. Although this is outrageous, it would still have been good manners to offer 2 different rates. In short, you weigh the pros and cons depending on your case, but rest assured about the quality of the content. Pros: *The high mobility of the U.S. Army. *The German defensive mesh. *8 new interesting maps *New types of environments *Full access to multiplayer modes for 20 €. Cons: *Too expensive for those who already have the basic game.

The Greatest Tropico in the series!

XGpredator | May 25, 2014 | Review of Tropico 5 - PC

Probably the most innovative game of the series since Tropico 2 with innovations that change the gameplay. The Constitution, the technologies and the heirs gives more depth to the game and increases the control you have over the country. The humor remains. The tutorial is useful for new players and allow fans of the series to see what's new. Where the game prevents a perfect score, it is the sense of repetition: Caribbean dictatorship. Decorations and ambiance too similar to its predecessors.

Fight to win, negotiate to have the right and eventually dominate

XGpredator | Jan. 3, 2014 | Review of Seven Kingdoms II - PC

Seven Kingdoms II because of its infinitely deep double aspect Strategy / Action and the outstanding graphic quality, we can clearly see that its much better than the first. Diplomacy, War, espionage, these notions and many more await the player in Seven Kingdoms. A great game

A license which deserved a better treatment..

XGpredator | Jan. 3, 2014 | Review of Syndicate - PC

It's hard to believe that the creators of the adaptation of Riddick and The Darkness are behind Syndicate. Built on glitches, script mechanicas, Starbreeze Studios' FPS is not repulsive and even offers a nervous and dynamic gameplay coupled with a hyper aggressive AI, but heck, mistakes, blunders and predictability in everything. The final result is a lambda shooter, not unpleasant but certainly not be remembered.

An inspired game from Re-Logic's Terraria..

XGpredator | Jan. 3, 2014 | Review of Darkout Steam - PC

Darkout is an interesting experience and has a sandbox / survival efficient side but it need some originality and draws too much competition (Terraria). In addition, the interface is messy and the gameplay is repetitive which heavily puts down the gaming experience and may alienate the less patient players. A title that is primarily addressed to the players who are used to the genre.

WRC 3 is fun to everyone, a little bit less alone..

XGpredator | Jan. 3, 2014 | Review of WRC 3 - PC

WRC 3 has much in common with WRC 2. Milestone developers have fixed a bunch of aberrations and finally offer a real rally game. Not without some glaring flaws, such as its career mode which is particularly mediocre, this third episode finally puts the series back on track. But i'd say, investing in WRC 3 is a good idea but with one condition, playing the multiplayer , a mode in which it excels.

Difficult but far from frustrating.

XGpredator | Jan. 2, 2014 | Review of Cloudberry kingdom - PC

Cloudberry Kingdom is addictive and can quickly become enjoyable. Inspired by Super Meat Boy and classic platform oriented die and retry, this independent game uses new mechanics that allow it to be distinguished without difficulty. The opportunity to progress in one go. This is less the case with the principle of levels which adapt to the skill of the player, since in fact, not everything works as expected. But ultimately, for 10$, fans will be challenge stuffed, and that's the point.

A colorful 2D adventure!

XGpredator | Jan. 2, 2014 | Review of Ittle Dew - PC

Ittle Dew turns out to be a marvel of creativity in level design. Funny, colorful, intelligent, this title is appreciated when taken for what it really is: a game of pure reflection. This title will reveal its depth for players who want to achieve 100% the game, for others it remains nevertheless a nice game!

Could be the worst simulator..

XGpredator | Jan. 2, 2014 | Review of Police Simulator 2 - PC

Despite a basic concept that could appeal if properly exploited, Police Simulator 2 doesn't happen at any time to give some fun to the players, the uninteresting missions, graphics from another century and definitely non user-friendly interface, there were some bunch of simulator out in the couple of past years, but i'm afraid this the worst one.

The heroes are back! in a lego way..

XGpredator | Jan. 2, 2014 | Review of LEGO Lord of the Rings - PC

Lego Lord of the Rings is a pleasing game, allowing players to immerse themselves again, and in a great way, in this landmark universe, making us rediscover the cult film scenes. We'll find there a similar gameplay to the previous episodes, but which still allows some freedom and small innovations, including the introduction of a all new craft system and a small cute inventory, LEGO Lord of the Rings is totally worth your money and time.

A strategy game, with an RPG aspect

XGpredator | Dec. 31, 2013 | Review of SangFroid Tales of Werewolves - PC

Sang-Froid is a beautiful tale of werewolves, which transports us brilliantly in the icy atmosphere of Quebec, thanks to its audio. Soft and playful: with its open world and its evolutionary character, it offers multiple strategies. Then of course, all is not perfect but for a first project, the result is convincing! The game only costs 15 dollars, and its worth it.

StarDrive, a game made by one man.

XGpredator | Dec. 31, 2013 | Review of Stardrive - PC

Bearing in mind that STARDRIVE was mainly developed by one man with a tiny budget, the final result is a true tour of force, because the game has all the specs of a 4X Space Strategy title: diplomacy, space combat, etc.. Not to mention some of the ideas of Master of Orion II, such as espionage and design of vessels. Alas, STARDRIVE also owns almost as many mistakes as qualities, its still worth a try if you're fan of the genre.

Inspired from Portal

XGpredator | Dec. 31, 2013 | Review of Magrunner Dark Pulse - PC

Magrunner: Dark Pulse tries to swallow the look of Portal with its own mechanics and bold screenplay, Moreover, since it is too much shifted with the game, some puzzles are nice and well twisted and it feels like an original gameplay, unfortunately burdened by too much vagueness in physics and controls. It is far from the big title, Portal.

An extreme strategic dimension

XGpredator | Dec. 31, 2013 | Review of Wargame Airland Battle - PC

Despite a somewhat disappointing campaign and unbalanced AI, Wargame: AirLand Battle looks like the deep strategy game and hardcore which should easily attract fans of the genre. With 828 units of varying characteristics and planes set aside intense multiplayer battles for those who try it. if you're a fan of strategy games, then go get this.

Relive the hunt for the greatest villains of the West

XGpredator | Dec. 31, 2013 | Review of Call of Juarez Gunslinger Steam - PC

Having decided to fall back on the safe values of gender, Techland finally thought his title as a successful chain of gunfights. Small exploration mode, no NPCs, a relatively minor and rather predictable story, no multiplayer ... but totally worth price, the key word here is "economy". However, the price / quality ratio is undeniable and the whole is very enjoyable to play. One leaves satisfied and particularly amazed by the unique narrative element, like the universe of Far West, which is unfortunately not usually used in the gaming environments. Well done Techland! Grab it now.

The adaptation of the anime of our childhood.

XGpredator | Dec. 27, 2013 | Review of Mysterious Cities of Gold Secret Paths - PC

The developers of these Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secrets Worlds have obviously tried to deliver a title that is similar to the original series. Somehow, they got there because the game is close to the original anime and it offers relatively few interesting puzzles. Unfortunately, everything is devoid of fun and we end up bored devilishly wandering through mazes that are all alike.

Fun, alone or with friends.

XGpredator | Dec. 26, 2013 | Review of Tiny Brains - PC

Tiny Brains is obviously not the game of the year, but it still offers a fun action / reflection game. Even though it is frankly not difficult, its campaign remains attractive enough to be completed without feeling bored. However, 3-4 hours will suffice to finish it, which is most definitely too little. The extra modes may however extend a little more hours of playtime, especially for the fans of scores and leaderboards.

Pro Management continues to surprise us.

XGpredator | Dec. 26, 2013 | Review of Basketball Pro Management 2014 - PC

Like every year, Basketball Pro Management comes back with very good intentions to make more credible and balanced experience. Its interesting to take control of an NBA team while the conduct of the matches is more realistic. Still, its just a bunch of "small" improvements, no big news, but it's still a fun and addicting.

A fresh, beautiful retro tasted platformer..

XGpredator | Nov. 28, 2013 | Review of Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams Rise of the Owlverlord - PC

The great Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams-Rise of the Owlverlord should delight everyone. Those who played the original will return in all directions and in all levels of difficulty six courses and the boss (a giant owl both pirate and ninja). Those who have not yet established relationships with new Giana discover meanwhile a charming universe with an achievement and a lovely soundtrack and a gameplay based on the Twist, very refreshing. A nice little challenge for less than 5$ that clearly deserves a good note ... and, hopefully, the best hopes for a future second episode!

Complete but complex ..

XGpredator | Nov. 25, 2013 | Review of Europa Universalis IV POST - PC

Europa Universalis IV is undeniably very good. There are many historical events, the possibilities are immense and replayability. We take great pleasure to rewrite history. The game is mainly intended for connoisseurs of the genre or game studio, even beginners will find their account that their learning will be slowed by the many bugs tutorials. This is also the point and the problems of locations that tarnish the picture of an exemplary embodiment yet of the rest. It is hoped that these concerns will be quickly corrected though they taint little playability of the games, but in all cases, they are breaking the final mark of at least one point.

Badger's Little Helper..

XGpredator | Nov. 25, 2013 | Review of Shelter - PC

Despite his pitch that seems out of the parody Twitter account PeterMolydeux, the idea of embody an animal and create a virtual link is not bad, on the contrary. In practice, however, minimalism gameplay eventually cause real trouble and not particularly Shelter manages to create that famous sense of involvement. There has to be a sense of unfinished business in Shelter, a feeling that things were not pushed through. Remains an experimental aspect that will seduce the most curious.

An artistic success..

XGpredator | Nov. 25, 2013 | Review of FINAL FANTASY XIV A Realm Reborn Post - PC

Final Fantasy XIV : A Realm Reborn is a title that has much to tell . Rarely will a MMORPG possessed such a strong storyline while providing such freedom to the player. As adapted to the general public and enthusiasts of the genre, it offers an impressive content and the world seems still open to players once the maximum level attained. To play all classes with a single character while being able to slightly mix the skills provides opportunities for customization undeniable. However, the soul of the game features a very long time to grow up and spent his class (or set up a new ) hours could have been more interesting with fresh ideas for the combat system or for quests outside bodies . Anyway , A Realm Reborn has really enjoyed a lot of work on the part of its designers and it shows in each compartment in. With a little patience , there is little chance that you regret buying.

A bit coherent balancing..

XGpredator | Nov. 25, 2013 | Review of Alien Rage - PC

Alien Rage is not a bad game, very funny some times thanks to the many winks that exist in the game, CI Games' FPS will, for its low price, you give you some enjoyable moments. But the difficulty wrongly calibrated, the monotony of gameplay as environment, short lifetime and the classicism of its multiplayer. Alien Rage is not a success, but not a total failure either. You decide if you want to invest in a not unpleasant and uninhibited adventure, that you'll quickly forget after you finish it.

Back to the past, with the F1 legends..

XGpredator | Nov. 23, 2013 | Review of F1 2013 - PC

Despite Classics mode well done but unfortunately poorer than expected, F1 2013 should seduce fans with his increasingly subtle and realistic gameplay. Physics has been revised to stick a little better the behavior of Forms 1 while offering smoother and more credible races. If this does not upset the situation and may even go unnoticed for a neophyte, there is however what the investment adviser to the fans of the series.

Even more realistic animations..

XGpredator | Nov. 23, 2013 | Review of NBA 2K14 - PC

NBA 2k14 is clearly not the richest in news of the series, but it remains an interesting title with its new animations that contribute to the more fluid and realistic gameplay. The arrival of Euroleague teams is also significant, but it is a pity not to use them during the fast parts. However, the whole is advisable to fans as curious pending next-gen versions still hoped for a more generous coat.

Tactical Football Action..

XGpredator | Nov. 23, 2013 | Review of Football Manager 2014 - PC

The country of football simulations, Football Manager is still king. In addition to the settings into the order detail, we can greet the arrival of financial fair play or the care given to the tactical interface. But this episode is a bit stingy in real news than its predecessor, it is difficult to recommend a player already have the previous game and that the update is not effective for of paramount importance. But if you enjoy challenging experience provided by the title, it is obvious that you will find something to spend long sleepless nights along with your coffee on Football Manager 2014.

Naval battles revised..

XGpredator | Nov. 23, 2013 | Review of Assassins Creed IV Black Flag - PC

Despite some good ideas, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is certainly not the best game in the series. First his screenplay disappoints, as its gameplay begins to age seriously. The system of free run, especially, it does not at all suite to environments that has skimpy pirate ships, while the AI guards are less easy to swallow. Still, given the atmosphere is just great, the universe is exciting to explore and vast, the freedom offered to the player is a total immersion that is intoxicating and the multiplayer is richer than ever. In short, it is a game full of nuances, which still deserves a look, especially if you're a fan of the series or the world of piracy.

Be the king of heists..

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Payday 2 - PC

PayDay 2 is a bomb. Like a true pro crime, you can prepare your breaks for long minutes with your friends to play stealthy and never being spotted. Here you are with a stealth game. However, when this does to the opposite, you're struggling with the onslaught of special forces. Here you are with an action game. Adding randomness, contingencies, the ability to block or continue depending on your choice, the diversity of levels, lots of accessories or specializations PayDay 2 has everything you ask a blockbuster. .. especially for only 30$, Indeed the best Multi-player games of this year.

An aesthetic beauty..

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Castlevania Lord of the Shadows Ultimate Edition - PC

If the PC version of Lords of Shadow made almost three years to reach us, all worth it! Technically most successful and enjoying all the qualities of the original work, this version so proves a delicacy that has well stood the test of time. Certainly, it is better to opt for a pad to enjoy it but if that does not put you off and you are a fan of the genre, you can not miss it.

A wonderful tale that ends too soon..

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Brothers A tale of Two Sons - PC

Like the melodramatic tales? You're not afraid to experiment with new types of gameplay? Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is for you. Indeed, it presents a unique but effective which is totally at the service of the narrative handling. Prepare to dive into a wonderful world where you have trouble getting out. This is indeed the main defect in the title, we would have liked this adventure lasts a little longer to continue to enjoy it.

An engine that makes wonders and a rich level design..

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Rayman Legends - PC

Rayman Legends is a worthy successor to Origins. More beautiful, richer, it displays a strong and effective gameplay, although phases with Murphy are sometimes poorly integrated and may put off some players. An unforgettable experience, to live alone or with others. Unless you are totally resistant to the Rayman universe, you can buy this masterpiece gaming eyes closed.

In the attack!

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Total War Rome II Post - PC

The Creative Assembly has once again booked strong surprises for fans for this Rome Total War 2. Campaigns are both more interesting, richer and deeper than in previous games while battles endow very interesting strategic elements. Pity that the form was not as refined as the background without some untimely crashes. No doubt the patches will fix these problems, but for now, it is unfortunately impossible not to punish these recurring technical problems.

Paint'n click

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Memoria (1) - PC

With Memoria, Daedalic sign a series of already mastered friendly Chains of Satinav. In addition to its graphic style that crosses genuine hand-made paintings, especially Memoria enchants the player by telling him a fantastic and touching tale, despite starting a bit longish. A beautiful story served by clever puzzles despite some wanderings scattered here and there. It is regrettable that the game makes totally ignore the language of Molière, a point will be prohibitive for many potential buyers.

A good dose of humor..

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Goodbye Deponia - PC

Goodbye Deponia takes things where Chaos on Deponia had left. Always so nice and always funny, this third installment in the series will make you live a new wacky adventure in a world particularly well and inspired. Deeply rooted in the tradition of old point'n click, Goodbye Deponia could repel the largest public because of the strangeness of some riddles and its very old-school realization. Others will meanwhile delighted to find Rufus and his band of broken arms for a new symbolic gesture. Goodbye and thank you Deponia Daedalic for this whole adventure.

Right in the Melee..

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of XCOMEnemy Within - PC

More vicious, more strategic, more stressful, more clever than its predecessor, XCOM: Enemy Within gives a great sweep to the already very successful XCOM: Enemy Unknown by introducing elements of gameplay that tough tactics of a game that the was already tremendously. Sure, they blame the failure to correct defects in the original game or the lack of a new campaign, but if you're a fan of the license, it is certain that the extension will allow you to rediscover in a new light as such particularly time, which is now enriched with a very consistent content.

Back to Basics..

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of BioShock Infinite Burial at Sea Episode 1 - PC

The adventure is involved at the beginning and the end but suffers a good time not necessarily exciting goals serving only on traversing a succession of rooms inhabited by enemies. Sure, the gameplay is still enjoyable and achievement, whether graphics or sound, is always of great quality. The apocalyptic turn of Rapture is not yet visible and the episode deserved maybe more carefully staging. Remains whether the second part will raise the level.

Contrasting game..

XGpredator | Nov. 22, 2013 | Review of Contrast - PC

Contrast is more it describes itself . Although several strengths do various problems, the overall feeling is very positive. It is also for this we regret that lifetime is so short. Nevertheless, although we sometimes feel the impression that the universe is a little underused, we will delight in these subtle references to cinema of the 20s, the exquisite artistic touch and especially a concept well understood and controlled with puzzles cleverly thoughts.

Winks and exploration..

XGpredator | Nov. 11, 2013 | Review of Anodyne - PC

Anodyne offers an adventure which is both contemplative and packed with eye to the world of video game winks. Nonlinear and not off-putting, growth holds many surprises. Just blame it on being too easy, few bosses, and the short lifetime, but it still have a good side, such as the he pleasant and varied music and the cards collection, for 9$, it's worth it.

Beautiful, but not very original..

XGpredator | Nov. 11, 2013 | Review of Final Exam - PC

Mighty Rocket Studio did i good job for a 'first game'. Final Exam is indeed very classic and far from perfect single player, but it will delight fans of the genre through his exemplary playability . If you have friends willing to join you in the adventure, there is no doubt that you will spend a few pleasant evenings. Otherwise, you gotta go above the low originality and flat scenario to enjoy this adventure steeped in the typical teen-humor movies.

Well thought, badly made

XGpredator | Nov. 4, 2013 | Review of Nuclear Dawn - PC

If there is something that should never be set aside by the developers of a multiplayer game, it's balancing. Unfortunately, despite its qualities, Nuclear Dawn fishes on this important point. It might not be a prefect game, but it's still a good idea combining FPS and RTS together, but the idea of only one guy who can build, that ruins it in some cases. InterWave laso failed into advertising, unfortunately, it's hard to find full servers, like in cod, bf, csgo.. Although, some nice fans made groups and set up events, you may get some rounds with some players.. or not. Or you can still play with bots, if you like bots. At that price, i think it's worth a try.

XGpredator | Nov. 4, 2013 | Review of Sleeping Dogs (1) - PC

If you haven't played Sleeping Dogs, really, you missing the best game of 2012, still played till now. United Front's game is a Original GTA-like, which will take you in an amazing journey into the heart of the exciting world of Hong Kong Triads. It has one of the most remarkable, story, gameplay, and most importantly.. fighting system, maybe some AI glitches, but i'm sure all the fans of the genre will not regret playing this game, it's worth the price, so go grab it.
