I remember playing this game a long time ago. It is pretty outdated now but we shouldn't be too harsh. There are better games than this in the same genre (both indie and pro) but if you are fan of retro gaming, it may be worth trying.
Excellent story, poor gameplayXanderine | July 12, 2012 | Review of To The Moon [Playfire]
I quite like it. I prefer classical RPG with a bit more gameplay to them, but this is a game with an unusual story that is very cleverly told. It's also set in a modern world which is a nice change from the usual fantasy worlds we see in most games. That said, all is not perfect. The graphics are the stuff you've seen already plenty of times in other games and there is very little to do. Thankfully, the story makes up for these flaws.
Gorgeous and... weirdXanderine | July 12, 2012 | Review of Mark Leung: Revenge of the Bitch
This game is not for everybody. The content is... unusual, to say the least. It is full of references and you may miss a few, plus the game is really not serious. It's a shame because other than that, it looks absolutely gorgeous, considering it's an indie game. Also, although I'm a sucker for 2D RPG, it's refreshing to see another style of RPG than the classical top-down view.
old-school RPG goodnessXanderine | July 11, 2012 | Review of Asguaard
Asguaard is a stunning and addictive game if you can go past the outdated (albeit cute) graphics and somewhat classic gameplay. The plot is extremely lengthy and full of twists. The adventure is epic. The game is a bit pricey but more than makes up for it with sheer exploration and huge dungeons. Whether you'll enjoy it or not is all about how much you still like the timeless classics such as Final Fantasy III or Breath of Fire II.
