The Secondalecslo | Dec. 27, 2012 | Review of Borderlands 2 NA post - PC
Overall I find there to be little major difference between this and the first, it simply is more Borderlands, if you liked the first, you'll like this. Things of note include a vastly improved item management and weapon visual style variety. I thoroughly enjoyed my first play through while I found some parts of my second a bit tedious to get to the level cap. The same humor which was present in the first is still there, but some attempts land flat.
My GOTYalecslo | Sept. 8, 2012 | Review of Deus Ex Human Revolution (1) - PC
Deus Ex Human Revolution is an enthralling experience, few games have captured me in the story in such a way, and I did not have a better experience in the previous year. The way decisions are handled without an explicit morality system is wonderful. Side quests are continually interesting, not mere filler and will add to the story. The only possible complaint that I have is with the balancing, doing all the side quests as you get to the end of the game I found my self almost invincible and while I would go for stealth, if I ever screwed up, instead of restarting I would just overpower the enemies. A great experience.
