Addictive game.aqnickdan3 | Jan. 26, 2013 | Review of Paper Monsters
This game features a great concept - paper combat. The world environment features enemies and surroundings crafted entirely out of paper, and you must beat them using a cute little character who you will find out, is much tougher than he seems. The gameplay is similar to most side-scrolling action games as in you have to collect coins and kill enemies in pretty much the same way, but the variation makes up for the lack of fighting options. Highly recommended.
Great game.aqnickdan3 | Jan. 26, 2013 | Review of The Lord of the Rings: War in the North
This game has amazing elements in it, such as the graphics, which adds a certain aspect of medieval type gameplay. The style makes you feel as if you are in the game, you get so addicted to the story with every minute. Combat is engaging, and certainly is fun on coop. The game may have a few flaws, such as coop bugs, but nevertheless, the game is great. Highly recommended for those who like rpg's
Amazing!!!!!aqnickdan3 | July 5, 2012 | Review of The Secret World (NA) dns
I bought this game yesterday and it is just plain incredible! This game combines everything from the supernatural to the FBI to the Illuminati and crazy organizations like that! The graphics aren't that great, but for an MMO it is simply amazing! There's plenty of humor and there are many MANY characters for you to play as, which adds a lot to the fun factor. One key point of this game is the environment. At times, the environments are simply mind-blowing, they can either be mysterious, or fantasy, or scary. This game is a must-buy.
Perfect.aqnickdan3 | July 3, 2012 | Review of Bulletstorm (NA) DNS
This game is a concoction of the best graphics, gameplay, environment, enemies, and bosses all in one. This game has EVERYTHING to put forth in a first person shooter. You play Grayson Hunt, a man of which almost nothing is known of, and all you know to do is kill every monster you see. You are given an arsenal of weapons which are futuristic and creative at the same time, and that offers plenty of different ways to kill your enemies and have fun doing it. The story line is great and amazing. I recommend this game. Hands down.
One of the bestaqnickdan3 | July 2, 2012 | Review of Mystery Series: A Vampire Tale
This game is one of the best hidden object games I've ever played. Most hidden object games base themselves on finding the object themselves and that's it, but this game has a background story to it which supports why you are finding the objects. This adds a feeling of suspense and mystery and makes the game a lot better. There's a lot more to this game than the objects, however. There are plenty of puzzles to solve in order to find these objects and it also makes the game better. I suggest this game for people who like mystery.
Boring.aqnickdan3 | July 2, 2012 | Review of Hard Truck 2
This game lacks originality and adventure. There's nothing much to do except drive trucks that all look the same and that too drive them in a generic environment which was poorly made. The graphics are very stale and grainy. I don't recommend this game if you are into simulators because there are many MANY better simulators that have a lot more to put on the plate than this lousy one.
Better than most racing games!aqnickdan3 | June 30, 2012 | Review of RACE On
This game is nice when it comes to the tracks, the graphics, and the fast-pace. The tracks are marvelous, as they aren't generic at all and contain a lot of room for pushing other cars out of the way and slowing others down. The graphics are stunning, the cars look great when they shine the way they do and the environment is amazing. The game is very fast paced, if you make one mistake, it could screw you over, and if you do the right move, you could be on top in a matter of seconds. I recommend this game for racing game lovers.
It's not amazing...aqnickdan3 | June 30, 2012 | Review of Gear Grinder
This game has very unoriginal concepts and is pretty much a racing game with destruction, average graphics, and not much creativity in many aspects including environment and gameplay. The UI isn't that convenient either, as there is no indication of what does what in the game. It's also poor in what your rewards are every time you win. You get nothing out of being top, and that bores the game out for most people. I don't really recommend this game for people who like fast paced racing games with a competitive feel.
GREAT game.aqnickdan3 | June 30, 2012 | Review of Death Road
This game is so much fun! There are plenty of weapons in your arsenal to choose from, and so much creativity in the weapons. The tracks are nicely made, and they are fun to play with. There's many many tracks and there are also plenty of rewards and ways to level up and get even better weapons to use against your enemies! The progression of how hard the levels get is kind of choppy though, as it goes from easy to medium without a gradient and just jumps. Another bad thing is the amount of blur in the graphics, I feel as if it is too much. This game is great overall, so buy it!
Unique game.aqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of Krater - Collector's Edition
Krater is a really good game. It is a role playing game based on teams where you attack others and salvage items to use to conquer your way to the top. The game has great graphics, which shows detail in the environment in the smallest places. The game has great gameplay, where there are many items you can use to your advantage to beat the other teams playing. The game has a great progression, as it starts easy and gets very challenging as you get more experience.
Very interesting.aqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of M.U.D. TV
This game has a concept like no other. The graphics style is very nice and fits with the game. You are put into the perspective of a director trying to balance all his shows and it is quite challenging to run everything at once so it is very fun at times. This is great for someone who wants to spare some time trying to use their brains to run everything at once. Very good game.
Pretty good.aqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of The Guild 2: Renaissance
This game is surprisingly pretty good. The game puts you in a good perspective for people during the time this game is based off of. The graphics aren't that great, but are very good judging from when the game was made. There are plenty of bugs, but not enough to take away from the gameplay. This game is quite entertaining and I recommend it for anyone who wants a little time to spare for some fun.
It's ok.aqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of Space Empires: Starfury
Very simple gameplay, all you pretty much do is trade, go to warp zones, attack ships when you want, and that's pretty much it. The graphics are good judging from the time it was made, but it doesn't compare well with the games made today. There's a lot of room for variation in the game though, as modding is very extensive and you can do pretty much anything with the game, which factors in more fun.
Great concept... but not so great as a game.aqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of Gettysburg: Armored Warfare
This game has an amazing concept: putting you into perspective as someone who lived fought during the civil wars WITH future weapons! Sounds great, right? Well, this game has many bugs, many issues, the graphics aren't as great as they seem, and gameplay is dull. This would've had great potential if it was developed a lot further. This is a game that has been put out on the market way too early.
It's not that great.aqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of East Side Story
This game has nothing much to look forward to besides the graphics. And the graphics aren't that great either. This game never gives you a sense of mystery or make yo feel like you are solving anything. It's quite boring and lengthy if you don't enjoy it at first. I don't recommend this game to anyone at all, unless you are into boring games.
Nothing special.aqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of Gem Smashers
This game is nothing special. The game starts off slow with minimal elements and stays slow for a while until a few varying elements are added such as portals and blocks that kill you, causing the progression of the game to be very choppy and inconsistent. The game has plenty of colors and nice graphics but there is no challenge factor. This game isn't worth the time to play it.
Great little game.aqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of Rijn the Specpyre in... Manor of the Damned!
This game looks simple and generic at first glance, but this game will surprise you. The first thing that you will notice is the extraordinary work on the details of the game; the simple things that make the game stand out. The graphics are very consistent with the theme, and it works very well with it. There are many items that make the gameplay more interesting, such as the ring which allows you to walk over water, but also slowly drains your health. The bosses are very challenging and make the game so much better than it already is. These all are what makes the game very fun and unique, but the only one thing that is a drawback is the length of the game. The game is very short. Overall, I recommend this game to everyone.
Good gameaqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of Battlesheep
This game is really fun. It's got a simple and nice concept, and a nice execution. You play a sheep who picks up bombs, and drops them. It isn't that simple though, as the bombs are dropped, the time runs out for them to explode, so you'll have to pick a bomb up and put it in the hands of another sheep, so instead of you being harmed, that sheep is harmed. The graphics aren't that great, but it's pretty fun. I recommend this game for anything who wants a little time to spare. It's surprisingly fun.
It's OK.aqnickdan3 | June 29, 2012 | Review of Asguaard
This game isn't that great, it's very generic and does not put anything new on the table. The style takes you back, but it does not do justice to the games that inspired this game. Battles are very boring and annoying, there are barely any elements that set it apart, and it's almost like the developers had to force themselves to make this game. I don't recommend this game for people that look for a lot of action or adventure.
It's good for a simulator.aqnickdan3 | June 28, 2012 | Review of Family Farm
This game is great if you are into these sorts of games. It's quite realistic in the manner that you do almost exactly everything you do while growing crops as a farmer. There's a lot more to this game than just plowing, seeding, and watching things grow. Graphics aren't that great, but you'll learn to deal with them with time. The UI is convenient, and it fits perfectly with the theme. Great game for younger people.
Nice gameaqnickdan3 | June 28, 2012 | Review of Cell HD: emergence
This game has a great concept and it's extremely addictive. It's a trial and error game, as it starts off easy, and gradually works its way up to very challenging. The graphics aren't that great, but the gameplay makes up for it. You learn with every step you make, either in the forward or backward direction. There is no game like this and I highly recommend it if you are into unique indie titles.
Very original!aqnickdan3 | June 28, 2012 | Review of Master of Alchemy
This game is great! It has a graphics style that makes you feel as if you are in the medieval times which goes great with the gameplay! The gameplay uses the physics of solids, liquids, and gases which adds for some great variation in the puzzles and each level. Every encounter with a new element adds some challenge with makes you think and use your brain for the level and makes you learn up to a point where you know what exactly to do in puzzles! Great game for those who like innovative indie puzzles!
Decent game.aqnickdan3 | June 28, 2012 | Review of Naval War: Arctic Circle
This game is quite decent. It's a great contender to many other games like this, since it has 3 key points that set it apart from other games like this: graphics, UI, and of course, the gameplay. Unlike many other games, this game includes many other ways to win your battles other than just ships, you've got airplanes, jets, ships, helicopters, submarines, etc. This adds a lot of variation and that makes it great to play. Even though I usually despise games in this genre, I highly recommend this one as it was very VERY good.
Not very great.aqnickdan3 | June 28, 2012 | Review of Making History
This game is lacking in many areas. For one, the graphics are very off-putting and that is a big part of a game for me. Second, there aren't very many strategies to go on with while playing the game, and variation is key in strategy war games like this one. It's not very unique, but it's got some parts that sets it apart from many other games in this genre. On the upside, it's not very challenging and it's very easy to understand after a bit of playing.
Fun game.aqnickdan3 | June 28, 2012 | Review of Alien Breed: Impact
This game is very fun, but it has elements that repeat constantly. There is not much variation on the aliens and their behavior, nor much variation on how to open doors, escape, or even much variation on the weapons. It's great to play when you are bored, and the graphics are pretty good, but I don't recommend it if you get easily annoyed by redundancy in games,
It's alright.aqnickdan3 | June 28, 2012 | Review of Hacker Evolution Untold
This game looks great, and it is quite fun to play, but has not much to do with actual hacking. The "hacking" is just a bunch of challenging puzzles set up in a way to look like terminal-ish command prompts so that you get the hacker feel. The interface is great, the gameplay is extensive, and the graphics make it feel like you are hacking. This all ties up into one good game.
Could be a lot better.aqnickdan3 | June 28, 2012 | Review of Defenders of Ardania
This game has all of the glory in how it looks. Nowhere else. This game looks simply amazing for a tower defense game, but the gameplay is lacking. First of all, the voice acting sounds like it has been done in a hurry. Then comes the actual gameplay. You have no indication of when the raids are going to start until you actually see them, which could be bad since you have only a limited amount of time to set up your defense system, and you don't have much time in the first place. The game is slightly a little bit more creative than other tower defense games, however. Characters are well designed and vary a lot from each other, which puts a spin on the gameplay. Basically, think of the game like a pie filled with nothing. It looks good, but it's got nothing much to put on the table.
A work of art.aqnickdan3 | June 27, 2012 | Review of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (NA)
This game is mind blowing. The gameplay elements are so finely mixed together that you cannot point one single thing out as it all compliments each other. Every aspect of the game(such as graphics, creativity, action, etc) was all created down to the final levels of detail, it shows. There are many surprises in the game, such as secrets, many surprising moments, and many moments which get your adrenaline pumping. This game is a definite must have
Amazing.aqnickdan3 | June 27, 2012 | Review of Spec Ops: The Line dns
This game is great! It is actually quite different from all the other games that focus on war in countries that have this sort of landscape. The environment is very unique as in the sand is used in a way where it alters the gameplay either to your advantage or your loss. The environment makes this game very unique. Graphics are great, not the best, but very good graphics. There are also many hours of gameplay so this will keep you entertained.
It's alright.aqnickdan3 | June 27, 2012 | Review of Gemini Wars
This game is OK, it's going to keep you entertained for a little bit with the fancy graphics, but it gets boring after a while. The game has many, many bugs. I encountered them while casually playing, not even looking for the bugs. I personally don't like the UI, as it quite annoying, but it's not that bad to deal with. If you are into real-time strategies, I suggest this game, but not too much.
Very good game. Great concept.aqnickdan3 | June 25, 2012 | Review of Quantum Conundrum: Season Pass
Quantum Conundrum is a very unique game; it has humor, a very distinct graphics style, and a great variety of puzzles. The game teaches you how to work puzzles in many different paths and keeps you rallied from start to finish. Your environment can easily become your friend, or become your enemy, how you go about solving puzzles is what judges how much you enjoy the game. This game is a great contender to Portal, I would say it is even better. This is a definite must buy for those who enjoyed Portal 1 and Portal 2
An amazing, unique game.aqnickdan3 | June 25, 2012 | Review of Trine
This game ties renovation, amazing graphics, and an entertaining story all in one as it progresses in a smooth manner. Trine offers many hours of entertainment while looking good. One key point about this game is the creativity of how you may use your environment. Things that may seem as if they are just there to look good, actually are part of the gameplay and that just intensifies the gaming experience by a long shot. This is a definite buy.
Great Extension!aqnickdan3 | June 21, 2012 | Review of Magicka Gamer Bundle
Magicka is already a great game and this DLC adds so much more to the gameplay! It's entertaining and well worth the cost of this DLC! Definitely buy it!
Amazing Game!aqnickdan3 | June 16, 2012 | Review of Scarygirl
Just 2 hours into this game and I love it! Amazing story so far, great graphics, such creative gameplay! Monsters are pretty cool! Bosses are challenging and engaging! Great game!
