Rebellion Phenomena, contingencies and possibilities.curta | Nov. 9, 2013 | Review of Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion - Stellar Phenomena
A dlc is always difficult to assess, in particular with regard to a vast and successful game as Rebellion. At first glance it would seem that the changes introduced are less than in the previous Forbindden Worlds, but the real news here is the introduction of the 11 random dramatic events that can really turn the tide of a game now taken for granted just like when you pick the wrong Monopoly's contingencies and possibilities. New stars and space anomalies round off the additions. Definitely a must for the hardcore SIN players, recommended to all the others at first discount offer.
Allons enfant d'la patrie!!!curta | Nov. 20, 2012 | Review of Napoleon: Total War
Technically good, Napoleon is a further refinement of the already great empire, especially the multiplayer part has been well cared for and is quite innovative for the genre. Have been improved naval battles and ia is a little more challenging. But it came too close to the previous chapter does not offer particular innovations almost as if it were only a substantial standalone dlc. Positive sure the accuracy of the limited historical period treated by the game, the battles of Napoleon. Personalmente mi aspettavo qualcosa in più, ma per gli amanti del genere resta un ottimo titolo.
God save the Queencurta | Nov. 20, 2012 | Review of Empire: Total War
Empire: Total War is yet another step forward for the series. its strengths are a well-established pattern of play, the improved artificial intelligence, especially for the real-time and the introduction of some new excellent as the implementation of the naval battles. By cons need a powerful computer to enjoy it fully, but this should no longer be a problem. At the end albeit with some flaws here and there this is a complex and rewarding game that will keep strategy fanatics tied to their keyboards for a long long time. Really recommended!|
Pure fun!curta | Sept. 28, 2012 | Review of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
It doesn't count if you are The Law or against it. This game can accomodate you both sides. Graphics are gorgeous. Crashes are spectacular. Single play is long enough and offers the two side of the medal... "law and disorder" . When palyed online (even only the autolog system) the fun rump up to another level. The things I dislike are mainly two. The impossibility to "die" or simply have to stop the run even after a spectacula crash (but ehy it's an arcade racing game after all) And the fact that the "runnerrs" seams to be always in group and you can often pass from the first place to the last in one shift or viceversa. I've played via pad and wheel... Imho the pad best suite if you like drive outside the car whereas the wheel is to be preferred if you drive inside. To summarise NFS Hot Pursuit is pure over-the-top arcade driving entertainment,
Dead Space on steroidscurta | Sept. 27, 2012 | Review of Dead Space 2
After a such good predecessor like Dead Space it's easy for developer to fall short of expectation. It's not the case of Visceral Games with Dead Space 2.The game is basically the same but imho DS2 improveves the original in every aspect and obviously in horror or suspance or you may call it fun! Strangely the thing I don't understend but maybe it's only me, I fill more confortable playng with mouse and keyboard instead of usin a controller/pad... Good space horror to everyone!
Great game even for non WWII fans.curta | Sept. 27, 2012 | Review of Company of Heroes THQ
WWII another WWII game you may say. Yes, but this time (in rality some yars ago :D) the game is an exceptional one. A really very good RTS. One of the best I've played so far, may be the best one. Outstanding (for the time but still now) graphic and sound. AI that is really "Intelligent". Deep strategy. Minus like the high how request are no more a problem nowadays. If you never try you have to do. Or like me if you find it on sales on GMG you can simply have a DD version in your "library" just in case you'll lose the original CD. Trust me and you don't go wrong with Company of Heroes!
Apocalypse Now!!!curta | Sept. 27, 2012 | Review of Darksiders
Darksiders is undoubtedly a very interesting and fun game to play. The story full of epic moment, the graphics are more that decent, the combat look and play great, the world is large and rich of puzzle to solve and monster to slash. In other words a very entertaining game. To get the full experience is best played with a controller, as you may expect from a game that come from console, but luckily mouse and keyboard are good enough to have some brutal fun. If you like God of War kind of games with Darksider you can't go wrong!
Brillant casual "music" game.curta | Sept. 11, 2012 | Review of Waveform
Waveform is a fantastic casual game filled with colorful visuals and retro-symphonic soundtrack. Based on the concept of change width and modulation of a path of light to collect good items avoiding the evil ones offers an addictive gameplay experience. The downside is about the control method that is hard to manage at first till you'll be used to. Going on the game will soon become challenging and offers a good replayability. In conclusion Waveform is a really entertaining game that I must advise you!
Great game, even better in multiplayercurta | Aug. 27, 2012 | Review of Borderlands Game of the Year Edition dns
A really good mix of FPS/RPG in a cartoon's style cyberpunk degraded planet is what Borderland offers to the player. Add a long main story, even longer with the many side-quest (more from DLC's too), a big variety of weapons to choose from and last but not the least, the possibility to play co-op with friends and what you have is a splendid entarteinig fun game. Obviously same minor flaws are present but in my opinion nothing that spoil the funny game expirience. Raccomended!
