Must Play for Stealth Gamers but "Action" Options Lackingdanny333 | June 26, 2013 | Review of Dishonored
I bought this game because my one friend gave it rave reviews for gameplay and said it is a stealth game at heart, but can be played full action as well. I am not a stealth gamer myself, but I figured I would give it a shot on sale.
The story in this game is weak. It starts out with potential but just gets less interesting as the game goes on.
The gameplay for a non-stealth gamer like me was just okay. I tried the stealth approach and got bored (always happens to me), but when I switched to the action approach I just didn't find it rewarding enough.
So if you're looking for a stealth game and intend to play it that way then this game is great. It is also nice to have the "go all out" option if you mess up mid mission or need a break from stealth. However, if you are a heavy action oriented gamer then you may wanna pass or wait for a big sale.
Fun Game with an Intense Story and Meh Endingdanny333 | June 26, 2013 | Review of Spec Ops: The Line
The gameplay in this game is nothing to boast home about, but the story based around making tough decisions of fighting and killing your American "comrades" makes this game an emotional one at times.
The graphics are above average for its release date and it ran silky smooth on my GTX 670.
The story kept me intrigued enough to be the game in just a few days. I think it took me 6-8 hours. I actually prefer games that are shorter because my backlog is so long. I wasn't impressed by the ending, but a great game nonetheless and worth the money when on sale.
