discoverygold | July 8, 2013 | Review of Bioshock Infinite Post Overflow - PC

I am a great fan of the bioshock series when i first played the original bioshock on a friends xbox it was jaw dropping and was the final big push for me to go out and buy the console. The second in the series was not short of the same feeling as you get to play as one of the most feared nemesis in the previous game. When i first heard the bioshock infinite was not going to take place in the aww inspiring rapture city my initial thought was that this game was going to be a flop but i was soon made a fool as more and more information and videos where coming out about the game i was made to eat my words! I got bishock infinite on release and was yet again made to feel inspired! the game is beautiful in visuals and imagination. the game play is as good as ever allot of fun in other words! The one thing I think infinite trumps its predecessors in is the connection with the characters. You are made to fall in love with both Booker and Elizabeth and there connection with one and other. The story is easy to follow throughout until you get to the pinicale where there are more twists and turn than a curly whurly chocolate bar! A must have for any gamer!

Back to its roots.

discoverygold | July 8, 2013 | Review of Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition - PC

Mortal Kombat has slowly been getting worse in my eyes. the fighting had been getting stale and the blood and guts just that little bit been there done that. But with this Mortal Kombat i feel they have started again and come out with what they had started with but better. You get that "ooh" and "ah thats gotta hurt" while you crack the jaw of your least favorite character. The story is more interesting and rewarding than previous but not the top on in my book s but still great non the less. A must buy in my eyes.
