A brutally addictive game.

I bought XCOM after hearing great things about it from my friend. Little did I expect it to be such a great game.

XCOM combines tactical play with RPG elements superbly. And every decision you take could mean life or death of your squad. But it is this permadeath consequence that adds that tension and excitement to the game. You will sink hours into this game suffering from 'one-more-turnitis'. Defending the Earth from deadly aliens has never been so addictive.

My only real gripe is that for a game that boasts multiple nationalities, all the soldiers sound like they are from North America. Varied voice acting representing soldiers from all across the globe would have made this game an ultimately more immersive experience.

But if you have been on the fence for this game, wait no longer. XCOM is a treat for every kind of gamer.
