Wonderfulidobadbymyselfi | Aug. 29, 2013 | Review of BioShock Infinite (NA)
Unlike the first two, this game isn't visually dark, claustrophobic, and "scary". This game is very pretty. The combat flows pretty well and while it doesn't have that scary feeling the first game did, it still has that Bioshock feel. After the first game, everyone started looking for the twist in the games. No matter how hard you try to figure it out, you won't see it coming.
Not For Everybodyidobadbymyselfi | Aug. 21, 2013 | Review of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (NA)
Dark Souls has a reputation as one of the most unforgiving video games in the last decade. This is a reputation that both draws people in and pushes them away. The game is worshiped in serious gaming forums for its extreme difficulty, subtle lore, rhythmic combat system, and unique online experience. However, these same features are what confuse and frustrate casual players who go into the game not expecting its difficulty. Overall, the game is fantastic for those who go in eager for the difficulty, and disappointing for those who fall behind the learning curve.
The combat system in Dark Souls is divisive; those who learn the rhythm behind it and learn not to button mash love it, but those who don't, hate it.
On the outside, the plot of Dark Souls is overly simplistic and leaves nothing but questions. The game has very few cut-scenes, and NPC dialogue is cryptic. However, one can unravel the lore of Dark Souls, in which the player is revealed to be a pawn in the game of gods, giants, and serpents, by reading item descriptions, piecing together the mutterings of sparse NPCs, and community discussion.
The community of Dark Souls is fanatic; it is a community that bonds over the game's unique online multiplayer experience and the forums devoted to the lore and combat techniques of the game.
Dark Souls is a game that is extremely divisive; those who are willing to spend enough time struggling through the learning curve love the game, and those who don't, don't.
Great Gameidobadbymyselfi | Aug. 21, 2013 | Review of Saints Row IV NA
The game is very entertaining. The soundtrack goes PERFECTLY with the game. It's a great addition to the franchise. The only problems I've had are a few minor gameplay problems that are actually more entertaining than annoying. Volition did a great job in taking Saints Row: The Third and making it bigger and better.
LOVE ITidobadbymyselfi | Aug. 20, 2013 | Review of Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition
I love gta 4. Great story, great missions, great fun! The game is great and very long. Not only is the a steal for the regular game but it comes with the dlc as well. That's three stories each with their own unique take on Liberty City. Unique weapons and vehicles. Great stuff.
Fun timesidobadbymyselfi | Aug. 20, 2013 | Review of Grand Theft Auto III: Trilogy
This was the first gta I played when I was a kid and i love it. Although you can't swim and the graphics are dated, it is still fun as hell. It has fun missions and fun gameplay. Totally worth the buy considering the price.
Greatidobadbymyselfi | Aug. 20, 2013 | Review of Payday 2
I got this game the day it came out and it is great! Aside from a few bugs in the beginning (all have been fixed) this game is flawless. Great co-op. The guns look and feel great. The customization is neat. You can unlock masks and customize them with materials, colors, and patterns. Levels are fun and intuitive. You can either go guns ablazin or try and be super sneaky. Great Game.
